A new group called Climate Intelligence (Clintel for short) has been founded in the Netherlands with the express purpose of combatting the extremism of the climate change campaigners. One of their early efforts is a statement, signed by 1,100 scientists and policy experts from around the world, that argues “There Is No Climate Emergency.” This link goes to the complete PDF, but the summary of their case is worth noting here in full: Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific. Great read! Great ideas! I have been wondering what the ideal climate should be. Is it anticipated that the climate will be the same all over the Earth. You know.....equality and equity. (/s) Do the climate change advocates require that there should be only certain types of clouds? Who decides how much rain/snow is the best amount? And at what time of day should there be precipitation?

I like it, but the chances of so-called climate change ever becoming non-political and non-control oriented are pretty slim. There are a lot of lefty drones out there whose well-being depend on climate change in order to smile once in the while. Poor things.

With a few exceptions, I think most politicians and media types have training (assuming higher education) in law, political "science", communication and journalism. In other words, they are trained in persuasion, verbal gymnastics, distortion and misrepresentation, and political dogma/ideology. When I was attending Univ of Cal in the 60's, i was astonished at the number of students cruising through the media, poli-sci and third-world studies programs, disdainful of the "classical" hard sciences. Now I see them out here running the show. In the absence of some RELEVANT technical creds, people who majored in these "skills" should be kept as far as possible from real science. All they produce on the subject is second-hand NOISE. If in doubt, particularly where it affects your finances, health, legal welfare, ethical and moral convictions, faith, family...??... ALWAYS discount what they say until you do your own careful research.

Of course there is no climate " crisis ". It's entirely the creation of the biggest scammers that ever lived. All done for money ( for them ) power ( for them ) and control ( of us ). There will always be sheep eager to be " saved " not realizing that it will cost them their freedom and their lives.

The crisis is, when you're running around outdoors, there isn't a thermostat, a light switch, nor a faucet you can turn to set the water level. There never was. Without the presence of humanity, Earth has been so hot, there has been no ice at the poles. Earth has also been so cold that you had 'winter' from pole to pole and ice caps where you could should from the Northern Glacier and be heard the opposite side of the equator. Climate Crisis is not a crisis of climate but a bald political excuse to deprive private citizens of the comforts they've worked hard for to pacify the fears of people who think they rule us. The Elites have decided there are too many of the 'Deplorables'. They would kill off five out of six of us, if they could. It's their 'fantasy'. They don't need more than that, they estimate, to provide for them comfort and entertainment as they deem their right, with a few more to guard the servants and keep them from revolting. Preferably, we would be relegated to something like the old 'company stores' that the coal barons ran in the late 1800s.

Politicians are incredibly stupid and this global warming hoax is just another example of stupidity. If the solution for global warming was fewer regulations, lower taxes and less government intrusion, the issue would vanish. The Uniparty in America does not want a solution with the Democrats viewing the global warming 'problem' a something to be solved with socialism to later morph in communism.

Yes, what has been said here and in many other fora for years. There is NO emergency. CO2 is NOT a pollutant, it is a beneficial gas which helps green plants, the basis of all life on Earth. Climate varies naturally, and coming off of the Little Ice Age, warming is expected, yet warming is far less than the useless "climate models" have predicted. This underscores their NEGATIVE value for policy purposes. They are WRONG, provably.

They could first start to report in a more consistent manner. A quick search for how much CO2 emitted per year, and you see different articles referencing different data points. In 2020, 5,981 million metric tons (13.2 trillion pounds) In 2019, about 43.1 billion tons of CO2 from human activities The U.S Energy Information Administration estimates that in 2019, the US emitted 5,130 million metric tons of energy-related carbon dioxide while the global emissions.... totaled 33,621.5 million metric tons In 2014, 34 billion metric tons of CO2 were released into the atmosphere Cars and light trucks emitted 1.1 billion metric tons CO2e or 17% of the total US GHG emissions in 2019 Lastly, I saw an article from Aug 14 1912: The furnaces of the world are now burning about 2,000,000,000 tons of coal each year. When this is burned, uniting with oxygen, it adds about 7,000,000,000 tons of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere yearly. This tends to make the air a more effective blanket for the earth and to raise its temperature. The effect may be considerable in a few centuries.

"we are far from understanding climate change" YES! And without that understanding we have no clear idea what will happen let alone what to do about it and what to expect from anything we do? "Climate models have many shortcomings and are not remotely plausible as policy tools" YES! The climate is SO COMPLEX that we can not possibly model it accurately even with today's most sophisticated technical tools. Instead of a truthful representation of climate, the focus seems to be on providing a model that is scary enough to prompt action and solid enough to resist hilarity over its flaws. "There is no statistical evidence that global warming is intensifying hurricanes, floods, droughts and suchlike natural disasters, or making them more frequent." Someone needs to tell BO, Brandon, a whole bunch of other politicians, and most major media channels who insist that every bad weather event is caused by climate change. "There is no climate emergency. Therefore, there is no cause for panic and alarm." But without such fear there is no way to herd the Sheeple into giving up their rights and robbing them blind. There have been several intemperate people that have admitted there is no climate emergency but the things they are advocating are the "right things to do" so we should act as if there IS a climate emergency. "POLITICS SHOULD FOCUS ON MINIMIZING POTENTIAL CLIMATE DAMAGE BY PRIORITIZING ADAPTATION STRATEGIES BASED ON PROVEN AND AFFORDABLE TECHNOLOGIES." But that won't give the politicians the control over the people that they seek. If the people ever come to realize how badly they have been deceived and abused to further the lust for power of global leaders, WILL there be a reckoning?

Re #6, all excellent points, but your math is off. WEF and others have said that the "proper" population of the planet is 500 million. Current population is just a bit under 8 billion. 500 million is about 6.25% of the current population, so they want to kill 15 out of 16 of us, or 84 out of every 100 people are on their "hit list".

Re #12, I believe that human sources represent about 4% of the annual input of CO2 into the atmosphere each year. Erasing ALL humans leaves 96% of the CO2 to continue to be added to the atmosphere each year. Our actions are just above a rounding error in this. Human activities have no effect on the global climate. NONE.

In his first press conference since winning Tuesday's Democrat primary in the Florida governor's race, Rep. When asked about his message for Floridians who support current GOP Governor Ron DeSantis and how he'd seek to win their vote in November, Crist didn't hesitate to disavow their support for his campaign. "Those who support the governor should stay with him and vote for him and I don't want your vote," Crist bellowed. "If you have that hate in your heart, keep it there,"

In the social hierarchy of prison inmates, mob bosses, bank robbers, and cop killers tend to get respect. But “short eyes,” those convicts who have committed crimes against children, especially sexual abuse, are hated, harassed, and abused. In schools, however, this group of detestable perverts rates a “meh.” The numbers are stunning. Despite persistent warnings from Israel and the region’s moderate Arab countries, the deal’s signatories, the P5+1 — namely Russia, China, France, the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany — are insisting on hurtling into an agreement that in just a few years will legitimize the very nuclear activity that the deal is meant to be preventing. Moreover, with Iran all but having achieved nuclear capabilities, the Iran nuclear deal

"No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law.” That’s what it says right there in the Constitution. And yet, without any legislation, Joe Biden now promises to “cancel” up to $10,000 in student loans per borrower ($20,000 for Pell Grant borrowers), limited to those with annual incomes of less than $125,000. Let’s start by pointing out that President Joe Biden isn’t “canceling” or “forgiving” any student loans. Those are preposterous euphemisms favored by Democrats and the media. The debt in question already exists, it has been lent and spent, and those who borrowed the money of their own volition

There’s genuine danger from AI, but not in the form that the public thinks. The idea of a single, sentient Skynet that will take over the world is probably not feasible. Facebook Meta’s new AI chatbot BlenderBot 3 made minor news when it called Mark Zuckerberg ‘creepy and manipulative.’ How could a product turn against its owner? Because it learns by observing others. The power of modern AI lies in its ability to find patterns in masses of data. If BlenderBot trained on human datasets, then it would reflect the fact that many people perceived Zuckerberg as ‘creepy’ rather than reaching that conclusion from logic built into it.

Without Trump to headline CNN’s news coverage, no one was very much interested in the biased commentary and left-wing slant to the news that became CNN’s hallmark. CNN’s profits are expected to fall below $1 billion for the first time in many years. And its prime-time coverage is drawing less than 700,000 viewers a night. Clearly, Licht had to do something.

It’s indisputable that the president may classify and declassify documents. The office of the president has had this authority since World War II. President Obama codified the executive authority to do it in an Executive Order. Even the Washington Post had to admit that.

Simply put, it’s the process by which urban socialist Democrats intentionally muck up the basic tasks of municipal governance and create such soul-crushing environments that middle-class taxpayers and voters decamp for the suburbs, thus leaving an electorate incapable of throwing off the political machine. My theory is that Weaponized Governmental Failure, or WGF for short, was arrived upon serendipitously.
