In NY our teacher candidates are fingerprinted before they go into schools. Don't know why this isn't done everywhere. The unions have much to answer for. Sadly it is also too easy for false claims to be made. And it is all complicated by the overt sexualization of the curriculum in so many places. Young children now have knowledge that cannot possibly help them. The Libs/Prog/Collectivists (Dems) have created a Hot Mess. Ramona (the Pest)

In the late 50's in MA we had a new teacher from CA teach the 5th grade.. She would take us girls into a small room and show us her bras...we didn't know what she did with the boys, but it was worse. We told our parents, but no one believed us, not until 30 years later, could we talk about what had happened to us. I guess evil has always been around young students.

I find these numbers impossible to believe. Like everyone else, I went to school for 12+ years (roughly 12 different schools) and only heard of one credible incident. A counselor "entertaining" several members of the football team. She was fired. 9.6% of students? I dont buy it. That would mean 3 kids in every classroom had been molested by a faculty member.

Look, my sister had a 'thing' with one of her female students. She'd bring her home for the weekend and they slept in the same bed. Everyone knew. Her husband finally kicked her out. Last I heard, she and this girl, now grown, still got together now and then. Now I see why it was allowed. She was just ahead of the curve.

Many times over the years here I have said: Parents, protect your children. Go to the school. Read what they're reading. Go to PTA. Get involved in school boards. Lots of vulnerable kids out there. And all pedophiles know where the pickins' are easy, much like what happened with the priest scandals. Now it's even worse, when so many adults, when government officials, when cultural (???) leaders and even religious leaders, have been utterly, totally corrupted, debased, debauched.

Pedophiles are the direct result of public school propaganda on sex. Demonrats love free and open sex and what better way to get it than in a public school which does no, and I mean absolutely no, background investigation of potential employees.

In our school district every teacher and teacher’s aid are fingerprinted which should be a requirement everywhere for hiring. Of course, child predators are going to be drawn to education, that’s where the kids are and unfortunately, some perverts will still get through the screening process. Keep your eyes open, be aware of unusual situations and talk to your kids and make yourself visible to everyone at school. If someone who is a predator knows you are closely engaged in your child’s education, they will most likely avoid your child.

I, for one, agree with #6. Let’s not do to teachers, most of whom are good, dedicated and honest, what has been done to the police. If you have children in school pay attention, get involved and do what you can to encourage their teachers. Teaching, if done well, is hard work. Let’s not make it unrewarding.

In the climax of Orwell's magnum opus, the reader is introduced to Room 101 in the Ministry of Love. It is the subterranean torture chamber where agents of the Party inflict gruesome and macabre punishment upon recalcitrant citizens like Winston. And now it appears that Canada is making moves to emulate the totalitarian regime of Oceania and its Party. In a report released by The Counter Signal, Justin Trudeau and his political allies are paving the way for a militarized climate force. Leaked architectural blueprints of a massive new facility lay bare a dystopian future.

Now that the Anthony Fauci era may soon be (finally) coming to an end, it may be useful to reflect on the very real damage this man has done over the course of the past several years during the most extraordinary reaction to a viral pandemic the American people have ever seen. Yes, you read that right. Even during the devastating Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918, when 500 million people worldwide were infected with an estimated 50 million deaths, the American reaction through the federal government was relatively muted and the economic impact created at the direction of our national leaders was minimal. Charlie Crist — the former Republican-turned Democrat — made it clear whose votes he did not want in November's general election. When asked about his message for Floridians who support current GOP Governor Ron DeSantis and how he'd seek to win their vote in November, Crist didn't hesitate to disavow their support for his campaign. "Those who support the governor should stay with him and vote for him and I don't want your vote," Crist bellowed. "If you have that hate in your heart, keep it there,"

Tensions are high in Israel, as it is felt that once again the most disastrous of deals, the Iran nuclear deal, is being rushed to conclusion, its timing coinciding with the uncertain political situation in Israel. Despite persistent warnings from Israel and the region’s moderate Arab countries, the deal’s signatories, the P5+1 — namely Russia, China, France, the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany — are insisting on hurtling into an agreement that in just a few years will legitimize the very nuclear activity that the deal is meant to be preventing. Moreover, with Iran all but having achieved nuclear capabilities, the Iran nuclear deal

"No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law.” That’s what it says right there in the Constitution. And yet, without any legislation, Joe Biden now promises to “cancel” up to $10,000 in student loans per borrower ($20,000 for Pell Grant borrowers), limited to those with annual incomes of less than $125,000. Let’s start by pointing out that President Joe Biden isn’t “canceling” or “forgiving” any student loans. Those are preposterous euphemisms favored by Democrats and the media. The debt in question already exists, it has been lent and spent, and those who borrowed the money of their own volition

There’s genuine danger from AI, but not in the form that the public thinks. The idea of a single, sentient Skynet that will take over the world is probably not feasible. Facebook Meta’s new AI chatbot BlenderBot 3 made minor news when it called Mark Zuckerberg ‘creepy and manipulative.’ How could a product turn against its owner? Because it learns by observing others. The power of modern AI lies in its ability to find patterns in masses of data. If BlenderBot trained on human datasets, then it would reflect the fact that many people perceived Zuckerberg as ‘creepy’ rather than reaching that conclusion from logic built into it.

Without Trump to headline CNN’s news coverage, no one was very much interested in the biased commentary and left-wing slant to the news that became CNN’s hallmark. CNN’s profits are expected to fall below $1 billion for the first time in many years. And its prime-time coverage is drawing less than 700,000 viewers a night. Clearly, Licht had to do something.
