(Austin) — A trip to the Austin area for a volleyvall match ended in an unexpected and frustrating way for members of the Seguin High School Matador varsity team. The team stopped, after its match, to eat at a Cheddar’s restaurant in the Austin area. Parents say while the kids were inside, thieves were outside breaking into the team’s vans. Volleyball equipment and some personal belongings were taken from the vehicle. The crime is upsetting enough, but the police response, or lack there of, was also upsetting to some parents.

Comments:

Well, looks like the libs in Austin have "defunded" the police that basically the theives have free run. Even when the victim is able to identify (phone trackers?) where the stolen loot is hanging out. Gee, where's Garland and Wray's FBI Thugs when you need them. Gals, you should have told the Austin cops that Donald Trump stolen your stuff. SWAT would have been there in minutes.

I live in Austin. Calling the police these days is more useless than Moo-chelle Ovomit's law license!!!! Seriously, the police have been so defunded that unless there is a serious violent crime happening, response times are in hours not minutes. And for something like someone breaking in to a car or van, you are lucky if they respond at all. But don't expect any sort of investigation, because they just do not have the manpower to even investigate rapes and murders these days. Seguine ISD needs to sue the uber-lie-beral Austin city council and mayor for what has become of the Austin PD!!!!!

It is not safe in Austin, PERIOD The Rule of Law in Austin has taken a back seat to creating another San Fransicko in central Texas. Many of the people there are getting out and moving to other surrounding towns because Austin is quickly becoming a cesspool where the cost of living and working isn't worth it anymore. Its a shame that the team bus was ransacked, and that incident is a very "teachable moment".

The reigning WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces were the recipients of a unique challenge from nationally syndicated talk radio host Clay Travis who seems to believe that the best women’s basketball team in the U.S. would be hard-pressed to beat a boy’s high school team. Travis reacted to a putdown from Aces star guard Chelsea Gray who called him a “dumbass” for expressing his opinion that “a good, state championship caliber, high school boys team would smoke the best team in the WNBA,” by giving her a chance to put her money where her mouth is.

When it comes to questioning the results of elections, there are two sets of rules that are unfairly applied to Democrats as opposed to everyone else in a country where unequal justice under the law has become the new normal. To prove that point, one need look to Rep. Vicente Gonzalez of Texas who is so terrified of his Republican opponent in the upcoming midterm elections that he is falsely claiming that Rep. Mayra Flores “stole” her House seat by winning a special election in June, stunning observers by pulling it off in a district that has traditionally gone for Democrats, a race seen as a bellwether for November.

"[Putin] goes out and receives some kind of medical treatment between those sections." Steele also said that Putin is "constantly accompanied around the place by a team of doctors."

U.S. healthcare is now a solid week into the CT contrast shortage of ’22, and common themes are emerging in adaptations at local hospitals and imaging centers. One is the wisdom of making up-or-down contrast and scanning decisions one patient at a time rather than as a blanket short-term policy. Another is the commonsense call to reserve inventory for patients most in need while avoiding use of the term rationing. A third might be the fingers-crossed expectation that the shortage will not drag on to where it becomes a crisis.

McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas could become Harry Reid International as soon as September, a Clark County official said today. The county could conduct a ceremony and put up a new sign this fall to mark the renaming of the airport for the former longtime U.S. senator from Nevada, said Commissioner Tick Segerblom, a leading advocate for the renaming. The County Commission unanimously voted in February to rename the county-owned and operated airport for Democrat Reid, a Searchlight native who spent more than 30 years in Washington, mostly as a senator but also as a U.S. representative. He was Senate majority leader from 2007 to 2015.

There is a great deal of manipulation and falsehood in media presentation of the 2020 election. These lies and false constructs generate a great deal of anxiety. That said, there are two specific approaches by the narrative engineers that deserve a strong reminder. The first purposeful approach media use to create and embed their false assumptions is a slight of hand that few notice, and it can create anxiety. In normal term-two election cycles the baseline for media analysis should be the incumbent electoral win in term one. T

Sen. Cory Booker announced Monday that he will end his campaign after failing to qualify for the Democratic debate planned for Tuesday in Iowa. "It was a difficult decision to make, but I got in this race to win, and I've always said I wouldn't continue if there was no longer a path to victory," Booker said in an email to supporters Monday. The New Jersey Democrat's announcement came a day before six presidential candidates will participate in the CNN/Des Moines Register's debate in Des Moines, Iowa. He did not qualify for the event. It also came as the Senate gears up for the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.

After investing billions into a green energy agenda mimicking President Joe Biden’s federal rules, American automakers are quickly learning that Americans are not buying electric vehicles (EVs) at the rates they expected. A comprehensive report in the Detroit Free Press details how the latest data reveals that while the Biden administration is pushing hard for automakers to turn out EVs, car companies are unable to sell the models. Data from Edmunds.com shows that in September 2022, for example, EVs sat on dealership lots for just 21 days before they were sold. Today, EVs are sitting on dealership lots for 65 days. Automakers, as Breitbart News reported, are well aware of the issue.

Thousands gathered in Istanbul on Saturday for what was touted as the “Great Palestine Meeting.” The event was a pro-Palestine rally aimed at condemning Israel’s recent military actions in Gaza, where Hamas headquarters are located. Hamas terrorists were responsible for a deadly attack that claimed the lives of 1,400 Jews in southern Israel. One must ask the question: What did people expect Israel to do in response? Not retaliate? When an entity like Hamas, designated as a terrorist organization by the United States, the European Union, and Israel, engages in violent acts aimed at killing civilians, it is not only Israel’s right but also its obligation to defend its citizens.

Archaeologists believe they are one step closer to confirming the resting place of Noah's Ark. A team excavating a geological formation in Turkey has aged rock and soil samples they believe contain ruins of the vessel, which puts the site at the same time the Bible puts the Great Flood 5,000 years ago. The project began in 2021 and is ongoing, but the initial analysis determined samples to contain clayey and marine materials and seafood. According to the researchers, these results mean human activity was present on the boat-shaped mound between 5500 and 3000 BC.
