After investing billions into a green energy agenda mimicking President Joe Biden’s federal rules, American automakers are quickly learning that Americans are not buying electric vehicles (EVs) at the rates they expected.
A comprehensive report in the Detroit Free Press details how the latest data reveals that while the Biden administration is pushing hard for automakers to turn out EVs, car companies are unable to sell the models.
Data from Edmunds.com shows that in September 2022, for example, EVs sat on dealership lots for just 21 days before they were sold. Today, EVs are sitting on dealership lots for 65 days.
Automakers, as Breitbart News reported, are well aware of the issue.

This news might be part of what's behind the flurry of stories in the legacy media rushing to do damage control for their agenda / narrative. The general thrust of which are that real world results are gradually erasing doubts about the viability of EV technology.
The propaganda war is escalating on both sides of this issue, to a point where I'm inclined to doubt every article about it, whichever side of the issue it promotes.

Joe Briben, like the Lightbringer before him, is King Midas in Reverse: everything he touches turns into a steaming pile of adamschiff. His green Energy/EV fantasy was doomed from the start to come crashing down to Earth as once all the virtue signaling billionaires and overpaid Hollyweird schmucks had bought one or two EVs, no one else was going to bite on the overpriced, unreliable, and impractical pieces of junk. And the vapid Detroit honchos who were slavishly doing Dumb Dumb's bidding while prematurely counting their chickens have just now figured out that that egg isn't going to hatch, as the average working stiff has no interest in joining the libtards Green religion. And once again, Carville was right: it is the economy, stupid, and economics wins out over leftist pipe-dreams every time.

It's a simple marketing problem, all the buyers that wanted an EV bought them. The rest of the potential market doesn't want them.

What?!? People don't want to save the planet?!? The words 'Biden' and 'failure' go hand in hand. The only chance EVs have is if they fix their problems. The are too expensive to purchase and maintain. Their mileage is inadequate.

Hard to believe all our car companies fell for this ridiculous Democrat scam. Now most of them are going to go out of business, and the few that remain are going to be taken over for all practical purposes by the federal government... Government Motors.

We need a January 6-type roundup.
Anyone who doesn't own an electric vehicle - - including golf carts - - gets thrown into indefinite solitary confinement.
And that means YOU!

Biden, not only an energy policy flop, but a flop at everything. The cabal that calls itself "Joe Biden" is a clear and present (meaning RIGHT NOW) danger to this nation. They must be removed.

States like California are going to force automakers to sell EVs. As ICE powered vehicles become less plentiful due to phase-out laws, it will actually cause their value to increase because demand will exceed supply. May you live in interesting times.

Do a little research people.
The Chinese are selling EV's for $10,000 or LESS. America can't compete. Our car companies are betting on sanity returning to Washington. If it doesn't we are toast.
China is winning WWIII (the economic war that we beat Russia on).

Got to hand it to Detroit, they may not learn very quickly but they learn. My guess is that every stupid person with money has already fallen for the EV scam and others are taking notes but not buying. In my little community of four thousand people, two Teslas appeared a couple of years ago. They are still the only two. Chances are that GM and Ford have been under a lot of government pressure to build EVs and realize that the subsidies from the US Taxpayers still won't keep them from going underwater. Honda was smart enough to drop out of a deal with GM. As a bonus, ICE engine cars are selling very slowly due to Biden's other problem, the dying economy.

It all comes down to this for me. I can travel longer with gasoline than I can using electric. When it's time refuel my gas car, I can do so and be on my way within five minutes, and there are gas stations everywhere. Try that with any electric car. My day won't be ruined because my gas car won't suddenly burst into flames while driving down the road. (That last one actually happened several months ago this past summer when a Tesla suddenly burst into flames about four cars in front of me.) The driver was able to get out, but the car and road were destroyed.

I don't play golf. So I don't need a golf cart, no matter how much it costs.
Just wait until USPS goes to golf carts for mail delivery. They're gonna need a lot of recovery rollbacks cuz you can't tow a golf cart and you can't take it a bucket of electricity to it so the route can be completed.
So far, every EV city bus project that I've heard of has failed and yet these fools keep on beating that horse tryna make it run.

Here's why; High cost of a vehicle, house has to be modified to charge , inadequate logistics support not enough charging stations, short range, they catch on fire enough to be a safety concern, and the green footprint is a mirage--coal fired power grid to charge in most cases.

One huge thing that seems to never be discussed is how much is it going to cost you on a trade in because you have an electric car. I've heard that a replacement battery can cost you anywhere from $7,000.00 to $26,000.00.
So how can anyone be so stupid as to even think of owning one!!!

Have you seen the price of new trucks these days? Forget EV's, which were already outrageously priced, even the gas-recip models are over $100,000! Granted, that's for a "loaded" turbo-diesel or gasoline model, but even an "entry level" model fetches $47,000, which is well beyond the reach of those who need them.
Car manufacturers have completely lost touch with their market demographic, and are simply milking profits amidst diminishing sales. Most car dealerships have massive inventories that they had to buy from manufacturers, which no one is buying. New car dealers make around 70% of their revenue through customer service work, so don't cry too much for them.

I know there are a few people who thought Sarah Palin was a "ditz" during the 2008 John McCain campaign. When it came to talking about resources like oil, wind, solar etc., what she had to say resonated with me. Use all of them wisely. Doesn't get any simpler.
Now for the Democrats - they sure love to complicate things and this is one of those subjects. They have to put out there all kinds of rules along with what we can and can't use but, in time, they can't even keep up with their own regulations.
How about we use our resources wisely? After all, should I demand that if cars have to go electric, boats should to? The Biden administration has become so ineffective and burdensome they can't even lead out of a brown paper bag. . .

We see in the EU electric vehicles are no longer allowed inside parking garages and I am convinced that homeowners and apartment insurance will have liability limitation clauses on fires started by you EV. The corrosion of the airbag canisters are a big deal as Takata was bankrupted replacing these and now the federales want GM to spend billions to replace millions of airbag canisters for a few that failed. When batteries start corroding and catching fire what will happen? The second largest financial loss coverup after derivatives trading?

FTA - "Ford drew fierce backlash from locals and lawmakers because the plant would have the automaker collaborate with China’s Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. (CATL), linked heavily to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)."
Surprise!
And oh, by the way, should you have the misfortune of your ecar batteries catching fire and your entire vehicle is destroyed, the remaining wreckage may be considered a hazardous waste under federal and state regulations. The burnt wreckage may not be recyclable and cannot be landfilled. The vehicle owner may be subject to shipping the wreckage to a permitted Treatment, Storage, Disposal facility for a price.

The VAST majority of Americans have no place to charge an electric car. In cities, one gas station can service an entire neighborhood. But each parking space in an apartment building's lot must have its own charging station. They don't and never will have them, so electric cars will never be anything more than a way for Upper MIddle Class liberals to display their climate change virtue.

Driving an electric car is nothing more than virtue signaling to impress fellow liberals.
It is not environment friendly! Our dumps will be full of spent 1700 pound batteries one day. And replacing your battery will require a loan.
It is not practical unless you intend to stay within your city and never travel more than 2 hours without needing to stop to get in line, and then wait for a refill.
It is not affordable when the taxpayers stop paying for part of your vehicle for you.
California and other states do not have a power grid that will support widespread use. When the grid falters, you will be stuck in your home (similar to the government "lock downs" we all experienced).
And then there is the issue of them setting themselves on fire. If it happens to be sitting in your garage, there goes your house too.
