Ugh, Sean Hannity

Coming from the media sphere, I have something of an immunity for ridiculous personalities and clickbaity positions, but when it comes to Sean Hannity, I have zero chill. His arrogance is outrageous, even by celebrity standards, but some of the things that come out of his mouth are so daft that I cannot abide giving him even one minute of validation. Case in point? He was interviewing Nikki Haley the evening of Oct. 25, fewer than three hours after the massacre in Lewiston, when he indulged in a soliloquy that made even the presidential hopeful look bored. And Hannity’s point? To say that his plan, should he ever find himself

I was enthused when Hannity came on the radio scene on the 90s and caught him whenever I could. Not so for several years now. Fox should have kept Carlson. I think our conservative stalwarts have a limited shelf life, then they expire.

I used to like Sean Hannity until I realized he was Sean Vanity. I had even driven two hours to hear him in person, only to be disappointed that his appearance was filled with nothing but the same diatribes he gave on the radio. Now I can't stand to listen to him.

Hannity is not my favorite. I might catch him now and then depending who is on. He repeats himself a lot and even though I hate FJB I do get tired of Hannity sitting Joe in a chair with his sippy cup. It's not funny or clever anymore. I hate the live audience. It's like a carnival side show. The clapping and hooting. What I would like all of them to do is to have fewer quests on and have a more indepth interview with a truly interesting person. I did watch Sean interview the new Speaker and thought he did a good job. No audience, no trying to interject himself into the questions or answers, and no commercials so it flowed very well. Every now and then the "good Sean" comes out. Jessie Waters seems a bit delighted with himself but he says it in a joking manner and a wink. Sean really, really likes himself.

Agree with all other comments. Need to add his constant interruptions of people who actually know something when they're speaking, his fawning over Karl Rove and other RINOs, his apparent failure to read and understand noted conservative thinkers (T. Sowell, F. Hayek, A. Codevilla, C. Thomas, M. Friedman, etc.).

Obviously you aren’t aware that Sean was a poor boy, cut lawns and delivered newspapers, worked as a bartender and fixed his own fuel pumps and roof, even falling off one, as well as practicing martial arts daily. A fearsome resume, making him an authority on nearly everything. Still, although wearing thin, he sometimes comes up with nice insights.

The problem with Sean Hannity, I think, is that he is being pressured constantly by the Fox News Board (Murdock family) and probably Paul Ryan to be more Rino and not be conservative. He saw what happened to Tucker Carlson and it was a warning to him and others, that they could be fired if they don't toe the line of the Management...don't share Faith, or go against the Left's (Murdock's) agenda (Ukraine war, etc.) All in all, Sean Hannity is not the man he wants to be and that's a problem to the MAGA movement and him. Hannity is on a leash.

I got tired of him fifteen years ago. His interview style, much like Laura Ingraham, is to keep asking the same question over and over until he gets the answer he wants. If he never gets that answer, he browbeats. Ultimately, he will end with the word "yeah" that sounds more like "yewl". But since he's on Fox I wouldn't be watching anyway.

Excellent article, important and critical information to survive an armed attacker situation. Martial arts are effective only if the gunman is waving the gun in your face and not shooting it to kill as many as possible like nearly all shooters do. They would be drawn to movement and if you are the first to move you will be the first to die. Hannity had to be dressed down by a woman, his ego will suffer for weeks. Glad I stopped listening to him several years ago because he became boring and repetitive and couldn't shut up, even when much smarter guests were on his show. Maybe this critic has taught him a lesson but I doubt it.

Back in 2004 my talk radio line up changed at 3pm from the great Ken Hamblin the Black Avenger to Sean Hannity. I knew who Hannity was from his show on Fox Hannity and Colmes. He used to sub for the awesome Rush Limbaugh, so I knew he was good on the radio. I worked two jobs back then, so I always missed his FNC show. I liked him on the radio in the beginning. But as time went on, I came to the conclusion that he lacked to intellect or the talent of Limbaugh. He kept repeating the same old talking points and talked about himself over and over. I got tired especially about his unarmed combat experience in Israeli blindfolded street fighting. When Colmes died and the show was renamed Hannity it got tiresome listening to him talk over smarter guests like Sara Carter during the Russian Hoax and the different ways, he treated guests like Vivek Ramaswamy and Nimrata Halley. Both of his shows are no longer listened to and watched by me due to the death of Rush and host like Clay Travis, Buck Sexton and Hannity no longer being interesting. Also, Fox firing the most watched host on tv. Others may still like him but for me Hannity has long outlived his usefulness.

Several female competitors dropped out of a jiu-jitsu tournament last weekend out of fear for their safety. The women were being forced to fight against transgender women. The inclusion of men in the women’s competition made the women feel scared and unsafe during the matches. The good news is that the world’s largest grappling association, the North American Grappling Association (NAGA), has been forced to change its transgender participant policy because of the backlash. The women who were scheduled to compete last weekend say they were not warned that they would be fighting transgender women in recent matches.

Happy Tuesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Longtime readers of this Briefing know that I find First Lady DOCTOR Mama Jill Biden to be an extraordinarily loathsome human being. If the woman had even an ounce of decency, she wouldn't have let her husband near a camera after his tenure as vice president was up in 2017. Jill Biden is a power-hungry lunatic though, so she doesn't care if her husband continues to embarrass himself in front of the whole world. Joe Biden had a challenging day just handing out Halloween candy to little kids at the White House. He was unable to restrain himself from sniffing one of them, got confused, dropped the candy, and passed on whatever germs he had to the kids when he coughed into his hand and then handed them sweets. If you thought that was difficult for Biden, imagine him trying to talk about artificial intelligence. I don't know who had the bright idea to have him talk about that subject when he has difficulty talking about normal things, because you know it would be a recipe for trouble.

I’ve been saying for a long time that the transgender takeover of women’s sports is going to end only when women stop competing against them. It makes sense that this retreat from competition is happening in Brazilian jiu-jitsu (“BJJ”), which is a close-contact sport in which women can get hurt, unlike racing. At a recent women’s BJJ competition, men completely dominated the event, with some events having only male competitors. I did BJJ for almost a decade, although I started too late in life ever to be any good, and my joints got damaged before I got my advanced belts. However, I know a lot about the sport.

Being a musician has made me aware of the two major ways that musical tones are ordered in the Western traditions of composition. The more common of the two refers tones to an organizing center or key, in what is called harmony, while the less prevalent of the two, known as counterpoint, lets tones move independently, free of restrictions from a tonal center. This division of approach on how tones should “behave” when they come together is symbolic, I think, of a parallel division in human life. More on that later. The harmony approach compels tones to sound consonant when coming together as melody and accompanying tones, restricting their independence

This is the same ‘deal’ that Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran have offered Israel for decades. It’s the same deal that the other Arab nations offered between 1947 and roughly 1979, too. On Friday evening, Harvard President Claudine Gay gave a speech to Harvard Hillel that was adapted in Forward. Gay forthrightly admitted that Harvard has an anti-Semitism problem: Here in the U.S., we are witnessing a surge in anti-Jewish incidents and rhetoric across the nation — and on our own campus. The ancient specter of antisemitism, that persistent and corrosive hatred, has returned with renewed force.
