Parent discovers unpublished 4-H policy
bunking by gender identity at overnight camps

RALEIGH — A parent that was considering sending their child to an overnight 4-H camp run by the N.C. State 4-H Cooperative Extension discovered that campers can be assigned to sleeping accommodations by their preferred gender identity. The policy was not given to parents prior to enrolling their children at 4-H camps. Parent Van Brinson tells North State Journal he had signed his 11-year-old daughter up for a weeklong “Fur, Fish and Game” 4-H overnight camp this summer. The camp was held in the Richmond County town of Ellerbe. “I find this exceptionally deceptive,” Brinson said.

another glaring example of the intrusion of the federal government into local programs and once in the organizational mix there is no way to get them out and .. they bring all of the LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ adherents along to make sure their is complete submission by the children to everything they are exposed to during the course of the "camp", this is intellectual corruption gone berserk

Not wanting to put too much credibility behind any Newsweek report; however, the claims within the article mirror what we have suspected all along. [Article Here] Essentially, the nub of the article states the DOJ claim to “retrieve federal documents” was a cover story so the FBI could retrieve evidence Trump took from DC showing his Russiagate targeting. This is called “throwing a bag over it.”

Finally, it’s party time at the White House! Biden’s spin doctors are getting all his favorite publications in a lather about a “Victory Tour” to celebrate his “historic” achievements and raise his historically low approval ratings in the run up to the midterms. There’s passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, which doesn’t reduce inflation. Gas prices are down to very expensive from ludicrously expensive. And Biden is COVID free … maybe. As this shindig sets off, we have some suggestions for Biden’s victory lap: (snip) If all else fails, we hear there are plenty of fun party options outlined on Hunter’s laptop.

A Florida judge ruled that a 16-year-old pregnant girl could not receive an abortion because she was not "sufficiently mature" enough to terminate her pregnancy. An appellate court on Monday upheld a lower court ruling prohibiting the girl, referred to as Jane Doe 22-B in court papers, from receiving the procedure, according to a court ruling from Judge Jennifer J. Frydrychowicz. The parentless teenager was seeking a waiver from a state law requiring minors to get parental consent for an abortion. She had told the lower court she was not ready for a baby, did not have a job and the baby's father was unable to help her.

The Democratic governor signed the executive order this week, directing state agencies to discourage conversion therapy for people of all ages. The executive order also instructs agencies, including the Department of Human Services, to make certain that state funds are not used for conversion therapy. “Conversion therapy is a traumatic practice based on junk science that actively harms the people it supposedly seeks to treat,” Wolf said in a statement.
Liz Cheney’s neoconservatism is dead 10 replies

Liz Cheney’s thumping defeat in her bid for renomination for Wyoming’s sole seat in the House of Representatives signals again the utter and total defeat of the Bush-Cheney-Romney era of the Republican Party. The neoconservative period of GOP dominance ended when Donald Trump trounced the field during the 2016 primary season. But the avatars of that political tendency — in favour of military adventurism and “free markets” — keep appearing like ghosts at the feast to rattle their chains and insist on being seated above the salt.

The county reported that it rejected 195,783 of the 715,833 signatures submitted, roughly 27.3%. The reasons given included that some voters were found to be unregistered; incorrect addresses were given; or signatures did not match those on file. It’s abundantly clear that former Vice President Mike Pence is going to run for president in 2024. He’s been putting in the leg work lately, with a scheduled trip to New Hampshire coming up. He’s also positioned himself as a Trump foil in the mid-term GOP primaries, taking a contrary position to the former president in several states, most recently in Arizona. For my part, I think Pence’s pursuit is delusional. There is exactly one person in the GOP who would be palatable to Trump voters if Trump himself weren’t the nominee, and his name is Ron DeSantis.
