The White House on Tuesday released a photo of President Joe Biden meeting with his national security team on July 1, where they outlined the operation to take out al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri. In the photo, Biden is seen interacting with CIA Director William Burns, who is sitting to the president's right and wearing a face mask. The meeting took place in the Situation Room at the White House. During the briefing, Biden questioned his team about the proposed operation and examined a model that was constructed of the safe house in Kabul where al-Zawahiri was hiding. The White House tweeted the picture

Consider the hypocrisy in all of this... Biden was once the lone member of the Obama administration against the assassination of Bin Laden. My how things have turned. Anyone trying to criticize Biden for his pullout in Afghanistan can now expect to meet the moldy corpse of Zawahiri. Biden will drag him out of his grave whenever Afghanistan comes up. What do Beau Biden and Zawahiri have in common? Joe Biden uses both of them whenever politically expedient. Does anyone think this happened because of tensions with China? Biden needed to look tough and in charge. Zawahiri was sacrificed (for the greater good!) because of this. Anyone else question the story of Zawahiri's takedown? They waited until he stepped out alone on a balcony? How long did they have to wait? How long was a drone watching the balcony? Surprised AQ did not see it and neutralize it.
