America’s top child health authority is under fire for pushing the over-use of puberty-blockers and hormones on transgender youth, and for stifling debate over whether a non-drug therapy approach is better. Critics say the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is blocking efforts to review its influential policy on ‘gender-affirming care’ for teens who identify as transgender at its leadership meet, which starts in Chicago on Thursday.(Snip)The academy's advice guides the work of some 67,000 AAP-affiliated childcare specialists and the gender-affirming policies of President Joe Biden's administration. Who would have thought organizations based solely on “catering to children” would have been infiltrated by pedophiles. Same as Catholic Church altar boys, the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, Disney. I’m starting to think this LGBTQ ruse is more deeply rooted in pedophilia than we understand.

The more I read about this horrid stuff, the more I think we might need Gov. DeSantis to run for President. I'm a huge Trump supporter, but more and more I think the Governor might just be the Right Guy for the Times. He's a young FATHER, who definitely will go after the AAP and other's like it. He won't stand for any of that under his watch. Because he has a Young Family, I think he's more tuned in to what is happening to our Children. He is all over the Books for Florida School Children, forbidding any that teach Young Children about Sex or Pronouns or Trans Anybody . He went after the Sacred Disney and didn't bat an Eye. Add to that he wouldn't have the Baggage Trump has and I'm liking him for a Run more and more!! On the other hand, I would HATE to lose our Great Governor. We have lived in Florida for 20 years and he is by far the Best Governor ever!

If dems think this is going to help them get votes in the future they are wrong. By then these kids will totally regret the decision and blame the dems for pushing this idiocy on them. They will NEVER support dems. They will be disillusioned forever.

One is what one was born. Discounting those unfortunates born with both sets of toys, one is either a boy or a girl. No amount of cutting, hacking, trimming, adjusting is going to change that. If you are reduced to a smear on I-95, they'll take a scraping and determine what you were BORN, not what you adjusted yourself to look like. Kids have always been in a state of confusion. It's called "growing up". In my day (long ago), this was a relatively short process. I had to start working in 8th grade, and just never stopped. Today's children are worse off because their childhood runs from about 5 to about 30, so the process is longer. Over that span, there is too much free time for vapidity, drugs, stupidity, crime, and really bad decisions based on fallacious dreaming. That and there seems to be a creeping conspiracy to destroy our youth with sexual confusion. It used to be, and still is, converting a child to homosexuality. Very common in the sports programs for girls. But NOW the drive is to actually change the child to the other sex, as if that were possible. The most successful suicides are transitioned people. They aren't crying for help, they did that when they "transitioned". No, these people are going to really kill themselves because there is nowhere left to go, now that transitioning didn't work. It's long past time to stop this nonsense and for the medical profession not to realize that borders on the criminal...

Russia's penal colonies are descendants of the notorious Soviet-era gulags where prisoners have been subjected to harsh treatment and poor conditions. Prisoners in the system have been beaten by other inmates, endured torture and forced to watch Russian propaganda for hours every day in what's known as "awareness raising." Following several days of Griner's trial, which stemmed
