Hardline Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban received a hero's welcome at a major conservative conference in Texas on Thursday, as he urged the American right to learn from his multiple election successes. He implored his audience not to pull their punches in a culture war with globalizing liberals. And he described how Hungarian state institutions defined marriage as the union of one man and one woman. But he made no mention of the racism controversy that followed him to the U.S., after he promised to prevent Hungary becoming a 'mixed race' nation.(Snip)'We have to be brave enough to address even the most sensitive questions, migration, gender and the clash

I wish we had one like him in the USA.

Except for the racism part, we did have a great leader like him in Donald Trump!!!! But, sadly, the DC sewer dwelling cretins in both the Demon-Rat and Republi-Can't Parties decided he had to be removed from power. I will say it until I breath my last breath: Term Limits for Congressional critters!!!!!! 2 terms in either the House or Senate, or 1 term in each. Then no being a lobbyist, or running for President or VP, for 10 years!!! No retirement benefits. Same insurance as the peasants have while you serve in Congress.

Hungary is one of few places in Europe willing to stand for itself and its culture. They need to continue or perish amid the Great Euro Homogenization. A few years ago, I asked a German woman in Germany directly whether German culture is worth preserving. I'm still waiting for an answer.

When WNBA star Brittney Griner was convicted on drug charges Thursday, she was not merely sentenced to nine years in a normal jail or prison. She was given time in a Russian penal colony, which is quite different than a normal correctional facility. Russia's penal colonies are descendants of the notorious Soviet-era gulags where prisoners have been subjected to harsh treatment and poor conditions. Prisoners in the system have been beaten by other inmates, endured torture and forced to watch Russian propaganda for hours every day in what's known as "awareness raising." Following several days of Griner's trial, which stemmed
