Elon Musk has notified Twitter and the SEC [SEE LETTER HERE] that he is exercising his “right to terminate the merger agreement and abandon the transaction contemplated” due to the social media company not providing transparent access to background data that would allow authentication of “monetized daily active users” (mDAUs).
It appears that Twitter Inc did not want to reveal how Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop was able to sustain operations, at an extremely high cost, without making money. That’s the essential source of the issue.
(snip) Musk was not allowed to authenticate the number of real users and identify the number of ‘spam’ or ‘bot’ accounts within the platform.

Elon would be a wise and deliberate VP for DJT, if only he were a NBC…
(didn’t stop Zero, sadly, Pelosi and Supremes).

He knows a bad deal when he sees it. I bet 75%+ of Twitter accounts are fake. I personally hope he releases everything he has on them and their stock plummets.

I really like the way this guy works and without hesitation he upends the whole twitter thing and they're all crying in their offices realizing they all lost a whole lot of money another reason I like him is, he is another Donald J. Trump who also doesn't give a damn what anybody thinks ... and ... he lets them know it

The stock price is likely to fall significantly below what Elon paid for his initial 9% of Twitter. I suspect he will lose money. At least he is smart enough to back out of the proposed purchase before losing even more.

The Twitter business model is unsustainable because its impossible for it to make a profit. That is why no one has been able to duplicate their "success". The amount of simultaneous users requires an incredible amount of server capacity on a huge scale that only the federal government can handle, along with the funding that goes along with it. This arrangement allows the government spy agencies access to citizen communications without bothering with those pesky Constitutional rights. This is the big secret that Musk has exposed.
This is a detailed article with lots of important information every patriot needs to know to understand the battle field on which we stand.

Musk is crazy like a fox. He knew that Twitter's business model was unsustainable without massive subsidies. Probably had full information that the funds were coming from the US Government. Many were wondering 'what does this man know that we don't' when the dimensions of the deal were announced. Now we know.

I guess I'll be deleting my new account. I had such high hopes that Twitter was going to be forced to follow the First Amendment.

Twitter is a small arm of the Federal Government where they put the old high school click kids. These are the kids who got their books thrown in the river after school everyday, so they got together to stand as one. They agree with the group no matter what and are very susceptible to peer pressure. In their world Hunter's laptop is still Russian disinformation, Trump is a Russian Agent and Muller may still turn something up. The Chinese virus began in a wet market and use two masks even in the car by yourself. If you believe that there may have been hanky-panky in the election you are a mental case and should be cancelled. Glad to see Twitter is being returned to a safe zone.

Elon Musk is no Donald Trump. Musk would be a dismal VP. Musk receives massive amounts of undeserved, unwarranted good press. Far too many of his followers are cult-like. Musk's primary talent is owning businesses that are massively subsidized by governments. Even with these subsidies, some of his businesses are barely making profits. Musk has more money than common sese. He has admitted that Tesla has been close to bankruptcy more than once.
His plans to colonize Mars are pie in the sky, and are, at best, decades farther into the future than his absurd time-line predictions. Musk is mostly a con artist.
One of Musk's MANY absurd ideas - dubbed the "Hyperloop" - is total BS, but a few governments are planning to spend $billions on that nonsense. His massively over-hyped "Las Vegas Loop" cost the city about $50 million, and it's a less than a mile long tunnel wherein only Tesla EVs travel about 30 miles per hour. Other examples of his shoot-from-the-hip ideas are large battery powered commercial airplanes, and point-to-point travel around the world by rocket ships.
A YouTuber - "Thunderf00t" - has several dozen YouTube videos that thoroughly BUST Musk's nonsensical ideas. They are very instructive.

My take: It's pretty clear that Twitter is a total Fraud. Users post their thoughts, Twitter filters those posts to suite the managements political agenda. Twitter then bans posts and shadow bans accounts. On top of that those posts that Twitter Management 'Likes' because of similar political views, are propped up numerous ways by Bots. Advertising is sold to buyers based on the statistics of this fraud as a backdrop. Those purchasing the ads are being defrauded because the data is obviously manipulated. Elon Musk, in his letters, is asking, LEGALLY, for ALL the Data, the Context, The Algorithms, basically all the source code from Twitter and all the data showing accounts and all details. Twitter cannot expose themselves for their fraud so they are playing games by delivering useless data not in compliance with the original agreement between Musk and Twitter. SO, Muck is slapping the Twitter Management around and this is gonna get UGLY. Twitter is sitting on very shaky ground as their total Fraud is being exposed. I expect the stock value to go into the toilet! If that happens then Twitter will sue Musk for 'causing it to happen', but in a court of law with a non corrupt Judge, Twitter would be exposed and all those responsible would go to PRISON. Regardless of what happens, Musk has the Twitter Board by the Cahones and he's applying pressure and it's gonna get worse every day this fiasco continues. the broader implications is that ALL the Social Media Platforms are likely doing just like Twitter by Manipulating everything to puff up their value/profits. This is gonna get REAL UGLY, Bring it ON!

Musk has the upper hand. If Twitter tries to sue him for backing out, wellll, there's DISCOVERY and Musk will find out all about the fake Twitter accounts that way...and BTW, in discovery, he will find out all the dirty dealings that Dorsey, et al have been doing for years that's been covered up. Stand by...where's the popcorn? This is going to be goooood!

Re #5, yeah, right. Like the FBI agents and leadership who filed false FISA applications with the FISA judges are "in big trouble".
NOTHING will be done. Dems break all laws with impunity. Laws are only enforced against Republicans.

Just one question on this - if the article is correct about government involvement, why didn't the government Intelligence people tell Musk to go away??

Chris Bouzy is owner of company that actively creates bots for Twitter, bots that he uses to target people who expose their clients (Amber T-e rd for one, the Harkles for another) - they target people on YouTube as well. Wouldnt be surprised to learn of other companies that create bots for Twitter and YouTube as well.
