“This isn’t some imagined horror. It is already happening. Just last week, it was reported that a 10-year-old girl was a rape victim — 10 years old — and she was forced to have to travel out of state to Indiana to seek to terminate the pregnancy and maybe save her life.” (Snip)On July 1, the Indianapolis Star, also known as the IndyStar, published an article, written by the newspaper’s medical writer, about how women seeking abortions had begun traveling from Ohio to Indiana, where less restrictive abortion laws were still in place.

Couple of things: First, does this pregnant 10-year old even exist?? How do we know? What if she's just the most hyperbolic example the left-wing nutjobs could conjure up? Besides that, last I checked, Indiana is right next door to Ohio. And it's not like she had to walk, or anything. Or cross the Rockies in the winter by covered wagon. Good grief.

More psyop fake tales to agitate sympathy and anger in the mob of pro abortion baby killers and Supreme Court Justice assassins. What better way to capitalize on an issue than to make up a story of a poor little 10 yo girl brutally raped and impregnated by probably an imaginary 75 year old white guy wearing a MAGA hat. This is total beess.

There was a 10 year old at the health unit where I worked who had a baby. When she had an appointment, her family would drop her and the baby off in the morning and leave her there all day.. The nurses would heat the bottles for her in the microwave. I know anti-abortionists live narrow lives, but this stuff does happen, and worse.

I understand that girls are maturing at a younger age these days, but 10 years old seems way too young for a child to have developed the ability to become pregnant.

Aside from whether this story is true or just another lie promulgated in an effort to push people into emoting over the terrible sittuation presented in the hope that they will weepingly plead for the restoration of abortion nation-wide there is this question to answer: Is the tragedy of this single 10-year-old of such weight that it mandates we return to butchering millions of unborn children to assuage our anguish over her ordeal?

Say, wouldn't it be better for the ten-year old girl to simply undergo a retroactive abortion? I mean, what kind of future does she have? And won't she be a terrible financial burden to her family, not to mention the taxpayers who will be paying for her for the rest of her life. Just think how better off we would all be if someone would, I don't know, maybe just abort her now, before she gets any older. Like she is doing to her unborn baby. But getting her an abortion is a GOOD THING, isn't it? I mean that's what everyone behind this FAKE, FAKE, SUPERFAKE TEARJERKER BS is trying to tell us, right? Her ten-year old life is going to just turn out to be magically delicious after she gets to KILL HER BABY!!!!!!!!!! Right.

Note that the story went viral, with mass "reporting" of a story not a single member of the press was able to confirm as true. Surely media professionals have access to sources that can can confirm someone is under investigation, or has been charged with raping a ten year old girl. For law enforcement, one would expect investigating such a crime to be a priority. A criminal who targets 10 year old girls would be on both media and law enforcement radar, independent of the SCOTUS ruling on Rowe v Wade.

Is she the child "bride" of an unvetted Afghan refugee? An unaccompanied minor smuggled by traffickers across the southern border, thence to Ohio by Biden? She was "Referred" by an Ohio Child Abuse Doctor...when did THEY discover she was pregnant? How long did they delay abortion "options" after knowing? Was it because the girl was unwilling to have one? Her Family unwilling? With a gravid reproductive age of 10yo...How old was her mother at 1st Birth?, most early onset puberty/menses children have mothers who were as well...often several generations of very young motherhood in the family tree. Each subsequent generation earlier and earlier. In My Father's early pediatric practice he had some 1st patients at 16-17, who's daughters then had babies at 14-15, theirs at 12-13. He had several families with 4-5 Generations in his 60years of practice, no permanent or even long term "man" in any of the households... a "Generation" used to be approx "30 Years".

Has the Indiana abortion clinic verified the termination of a child carried by another child? Would this not be considered a statutory rape crime by someone? Have the police investigated this potential crime? Why not the Feds, since the victim crossed state lines to terminate the result of the rape? But never mind, Lame Duck Joe proclaimed the action true, No Joke.

#17, you need to revisit Biology 101. Menstruation can start as early as 9, (and in rare cases, younger than that.) While I doubt this story, given the salaciousness and the timing so close to Roe, a pregnant 10 yr old is not impossible. Improbable and unlikely, yes. Impossible, no.

Well # 17, I worked there. I saw very young girls, one who at 18 already had four children, and the story is true. It might not fit your idea of reality but it's true. Even if I knew her name I couldn't tell you because we were not allowed to disclose such information. Young girls can start their periods at any age. I always wondered why the Health Unit never reported this but then, like I said, we were not allowed to disclose such information. We also had family planning clinics and no matter the age of the girl wanting pills, we were required to give them and if the girl said NOT to tell her parents, we couldn't. Maybe step out into the real world now and then. The tings in it will shock you.

#17. I must comment on your reply that 10 year olds don't have menstrual cycles. I was 10 years old when I started my first menstrual cycle and why I remember this so well, was because I also got it on my 11th birthday and was so afraid of being "spanked" 11 times plus 1 more for good measure by my young classmates, boys and girls, at my birthday party (for I worried that they could feel the pad I was wearing) I out ran the boys and hid in my neighbors yard. So glad that "spanking" for "good luck" is no longer practiced, but it was common in the early 50's.

This story should have raised eyebrows from the start. The doctor is an abortionist and pro-abortion activist. And while it is possible for a 10 year old to be pregnant, the vast majority of 10 year olds have not yet gotten their periods and of those that have, the vast majority have not been raped. And not every sexual encounter results in pregnancy. This is a highly unlikely, worst case scenario that should not be the basis for making abortion available on demand at any stage in the pregnancy. If it is a real concern, make an exception for rape, because 10 year olds can consent to sex.

Ohio allows abortions in the case of rare and if the life of the femakenis endangered) (and the procedure is covered under the Affordable Care Act under those circumstances) . They probably had to go to Indiana because parental notification is required for anyone under age.

Georgia Democrats Face Gale Force Headwinds 8 replies

The Democrats badly need to consolidate their 2020 gains in Georgia. Their tiny majority in the U.S. Senate may well stand or fall based on the fate of Sen. Raphael Warnock’s reelection bid. Moreover, they want Stacey Abrams in the Governor’s Mansion because they need to control how the Peach State’s election integrity law is enforced in 2024. Considering her frequent denunciations of the statute, strict adherence to its provisions would hardly be her top priority as Governor. It appears unlikely, however, that Georgia’s voters intend to entrust her with that responsibility.

In a surprise move, Netflix quietly released a “speech” on Friday delivered by comedian Dave Chappelle at his high school alma mater, Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C. The speech is forty minutes in length and time well spent for Chappelle’s audience. The speech/special is titled “What’s in a Name?” The reason for Chappelle’s speech that turned into a Netflix special was the re-naming of the school’s theatre. Chappelle was to be honored by the school. His name was supposed to be on the theatre but all that changed after a much-publicized meltdown by students at the high school over the choice of honoring Chappelle.

Rats, sinking ships, some disassembly may be — but apparently isn’t — required. ABC’s Rick Klein notices today what has become apparent over the last couple of months but especially after the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision. Democrats have begun to make Joe Biden the focus of their public complaints, and they’re doing that increasingly on the record. Put that together with a recent exodus of talent at the White House, especially in the comms shop, and it paints a picture of collapse: It’s coming from the left as well as the center — from safe Democrats and those who are anything but.

For many readers, the above title will conjure up memories of the 2008 housing crash caused by the proliferation of subprime mortgages and the subsequent tsunami of defaults. But a better corollary for the coming Biden bust is the Carter crash that occurred three decades earlier. During the final two years of Carter’s term, sales of existing and new homes collapsed because the Fed was forced to raise interest rates sharply to get double-digit inflation under control. This, in turn, produced double-digit mortgage rates that priced millions of potential buyers out of the market.

Progressives like nothing better than to lecture conservatives on racism, insisting that we revel in white privilege and vote Republican due to a deeply held aversion to people of color. They have, of course, absolved themselves of all sins racial by claiming to be “woke.” But the mendacity of that pose has been laid bare by the barrage of openly racist attacks on Clarence Thomas pursuant to last week’s Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Justice Samuel Alito authored the ruling, and it was supported by a majority of the Court, but progressive rage has focused on Thomas.

A festering rot of racial animosity exists in our society that we willfully ignore socially and politically. It is a rot that eats away at the flesh of our civil society and spoils the greatness of our multicultural nation. Progressives continually tell us we have blinders on when it comes to racism in American society. They’ve shoved their ideological solution of anti-racism to force us to “deconstruct” what they believe is an inherently deep-seated racist nation. Twitter has hired a heavy-hitting Delaware-based law firm to sue Elon Musk for backing out of his $44billion deal to buy the company. The social media giant hired the Watchell, Lipton Rosen & Katz, and plans to file suit against Musk early this week, Bloomberg reported. The hiring of Wachtell gives the company access to lawyers Leo Strine and Bill Savitt, who previously served as Chancellors of the Delaware Chancery Court where the lawsuit would be heard. Delaware's chancery courts deal with non-jury proceedings overseen by judges known as chancellors.
