Have to imagine one objective of the 1/6 committee is to agitate. They are probably hoping to wind up the crazies so they do their dirty work for them. They will 'discuss' charges. Perhaps Pelosi will conduct another 'impeachment' hearing.

They are counting on a propaganda media and the either brainwashed or indifferent 'voters' to do nothing or to actually cheer for the end of liberty and actual law.

If they can imprison over 700 people who attended a Trump rally and put them in solitary confinement for a year and a half, if they can send stormtroopers to the opposition in the middle of the night to arrest and embarrass on a whim yes I believe they will do it. There will be no consequences. Their behavior proves they know something we don’t. I think for some reason they know they will still have power. I find that very worrisome

Dems do not intend to have an election. They will NOT allow a "red wave". In the next election (NOV) 2 things will happen either 1) biden will declare a "national emergency" and instate Martial Law so there will be no election or 2) he will say "citizens" should vote but "residents" should get to vote too. Thereby letting all the new millions of illegals to vote. He will give them money from the taxpayers to bribe them and they will dutifully vote dem in return. And, of course, repubs will do nothing as they usually do and dems will win forever. Or we can get out and watch every poll site, day and night, during the counting and watch every drop box. Take video. If the box is outside it is public and no one can stop you from videoing in public.

1) Julie Kelly is no off-the-wall reporter. She is serious. 2) the Dems have NO concerns about the Nov elections. 3) the assault on Justice Kavanaugh is the beginning. That was child’s play for their overall strategy. 4) an arrest of PDJT has probably been on the table for a while, but it might bring them unintended consequences. Patriots are almost fed up. His arrest (to an unknown prison, rest assured) might wake up The Deplorables. But never EVER underestimate Soros and his lieutenants. NEVER. EVER.

I think it would be best to avoid all of the posturing and bravado about what the Dem Left and their Administrative State minions "better not" or "would never" do. History and literature all full of examples of what can happen when good intentions meets a wall of entrenched evil, self-interest and/or stupidity. Look, up to now these people have sailed with arrogance and little resistance through a sea of consternation and conservative frustration as if they were coated in Teflon. The Dems and the Left that confront us as a united force ARE NO LONGER a legitimate political party within the enumerated definitions and protections of our legal and Constitutional structures. They have become an alien and seditious force purposely and viciously tearing at our social and political body. They actively reject the boundaries and provisions which were purposely built into our Founding Documents to help us balance our baser instincts with our better angels, while protecting our natural rights and the social order. These people are recognizing that the jig is up re: their lawless and tyrannical behavior, and that they have no course forward but to accelerate their shredding of the Constitution, separation of powers, and the entire Judeo-Christian basis of our culture. I have always thought that the image of Nancy Pelosi, smugly tearing up President Trump's SOTU speech in the House chambers, was an in-your-face statement with much more sinister meaning. These people ARE NOT just expressing an alternative opinion of our American experiment any longer, as our normally conservative good manners and tolerance would have us prefer to believe...they are really no longer OF US. Socialism, or any authoritarian ideology, IS NOT just an alternative way of marketing a loaf of bread. It is a subversion of our nation and its founding, our culture and freedoms, and our Constitutional order. The exercise of socialist or authoritarian ideologies at the levers of power in this country is an evil and seditious negation of what we are. They should not have been allowed to escape from the halls of academia, where they might have served as object lessons in how to identify and suppress the animal urge the tyranny and power. Those possessed by those demons must be kept far from the wheels of government of a free nation, as it is a malignancy of incredible virulence. The Supreme Court has finally by implication ruled that much of the centralized Federal power structure built in the last 75-100 years is an ILLEGAL and UNCONSTITUTIONAL house of cards. Lazy and self-serving lawmakers have diverted so many major Legislative powers to departments and agencies of the Executive branch, through the endless delegation of the truly hard work of governing, that the President has effectively become a dictator who can get away with WHATEVER his capacity for evil and mayhem inspires him to, if he is so inclined. Witness FJB's disdainful spitting on the recent key rulings of the Supreme Court...and what do the bureaucrats and Left/Dems do but rush to back him up? We have reached the point where we must start making serious, and certainly deeply personal, decisions. Our individual freedoms and futures, and the continuity of America as a sovereign nation, may indeed be on the line. Does this country have a Constitution anymore, and does it actually mean anything? Where are the moorings for our social order, and what are the rules we still expect to apply? Really, just who is still in charge, and what flag are they flying? Now that we have let the inmates thoroughly trash the asylum, where and how do we apply the forces to turn it all around? Should anyone be surprised at the horrifying splintering of the social contract we are seeing around us? These Administrative State and Leftist activists are as a gangrene to an organism, a massive organized crime syndicate to an otherwise law-abiding society, and are now going for broke. It is looking more and more that they are trying, in their incompetence at otherwise providing any sort of leadership, to force a "right-wing" street revolution, looking for an excuse for civil war, mass arrests and police-state round-ups. If they don't get that, like so many demonic children, it looks like they will be giddily content with a state of perpetual chaos that will let them permanently avoid accountability for their evil. This great nation deserves far more than good-intentioned but impotent hand-wringing and turning the other cheek. That has been going on for too long.

One favorite technique of mass-murdering communist dictators is using their country’s “justice” system to destroy their political opponents. This technique is needed when one knows that even when the vote is rigged one might not be able to beat that opponent at the ballot box. One cannot let the peasants get the dangerous idea that the opponent is popular with the people. Gov. The new law, AB 2147, known as the “Freedom to Walk Act,” could bring an end to a cultural difference that has marked otherwise libertine Californians as being uniquely deferential to laws governing pedestrian traffic. The difference between Californians, who ostensibly tend to obey “don’t walk” signals, and urban dwellers elsewhere in the country, who are notoriously defiant when it comes to crossing against traffic signals, was lampooned
