Biden Administration Moves to Expand Title
IX to Eliminate Gender-Exclusive College
Facilities, Sports Teams

The Biden administration on Tuesday proposed changes to the federal civil-rights statute banning sex discrimination in federally funded education programs, including expanding protections to sexual orientation and gender identity. One proposed change “would make clear that preventing any person from participating in an education program or activity consistent with their gender identity would subject them to more than de minimis harm on the basis of sex and therefore be prohibited, unless otherwise permitted by Title IX or the regulations.” If adopted, the rule change would bar universities and any other federally funded institutions from maintaining men’s and women’s sports and sex-segregated spaces like locker rooms and dormitories.

I think pretty much every school except Hillsdale is feeding at the federal trough? This could help start the shakeup needed in so-called higher education. More and more federal money keeps driving up the price, and pays for self-loathing leftist faculty and administrators to sit around and dream up more critical theories about how the society that supports them is irredeemably corrupt and must be destroyed. Maybe this will help more schools kick their federal funding addiction.

The only thing Title IX has done is eliminate men's sport teams in quite a few colleges. However, since the number of young men attending colleges has dropped over the last 10 to 20 years, the reason for Title IX seems to have run its course and served its purpose.

One of my rants is about the predictable outcome if a male college basketball player decides to compete against women. Take an average D1 player, a 6’6” guy who averages 5 points, 2-3 rebounds and can run the court well. Such a player would be unstoppable in women’s play unless defended by another trans.

Obama was the one that started most of this push of "gender identity" bullcrap. Transsexuals are less than 1% (probably much less) of the population. But since Joe is being led by Obama, he wants to continually support the alleged trans Moochelle, so we keep seeing more and more push to try to get Americans to care about this sordid mess.

Biden is wrong. Women have no duty to allow men, including politicians and government officials, to set them up for humiliation. That's what this is all about. In return for being "allowed" to participate in sports at all, women and girls will have to give up competitions that are exclusively female. The rigged competitions will produce "winners" from the strongest participants. More humiliation awaits females when the "competition" is over. No more showers just for women. If they want to shower at all, they must give up their privacy and shower with the men. As the headline says, Biden wants to eliminate gender exclusive facilities. This is his idea of how women deserve to be treated.

Two of the primary providers in Texas ceased performing abortions on Friday after the Attorney General warned they could be prosecuted immediately. “Some prosecutors may choose to immediately pursue criminal prosecutions based on violations of Texas abortion prohibitions predating Roe that were never repealed by the Texas Legislature,” AG Ken Paxton said in a written opinion issued following the court’s ruling. “Although these statutes were unenforceable while Roe was on the books, they are still Texas law,” Paxton wrote. “Under these pre-Roe statutes, abortion providers could be criminally liable for providing abortions starting today.”

The House of Representatives on Friday passed the most sweeping gun control bill in nearly 30 years in a 234 -193 vote as Congress responds to gun violence across the nation. The legislation garnered some GOP support with 14 House Republicans crossing party lines to vote in favor of the measure. The bill, which will now head to the president’s desk, passed the Senate with a 65-33 vote late Thursday night. Ten Senate Republicans and 10 Senate Democrats began negotiations on the legislation after two mass shootings in Buffalo, New York and Uvalde, Texas left dozens dead last month within a week of each other.

Biden spoke from the White House on the ruling that eliminates a woman’s constitutional right to an abortion after nearly 50 years. The decision is expected to lead to nearly half of U.S. states outlawing or severely restricting the medical procedure and will affect tens of millions of people. “I believe Roe v. Friday’s decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade will make abortions illegal in Texas in 30 days. The Texas Legislature passed a “trigger law” in 2021 that makes performing abortions in Texas a felony 30 days after the Supreme Court overrules Roe v. Wade. “The U.S. Supreme Court correctly overturned Roe v. Wade and reinstated the right of states to protect innocent, unborn children,” Texas Governor Greg Abbott said in a written statement following the SCOTUS decision on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. “Texas is a pro-life state, and we have taken significant action to protect the sanctity of life.”

As Redstate reported, in one of the biggest and most impactful stories of the last 50 years, Roe v. Wade has been overturned by the US Supreme Court. The leaked draft decision that pushed conversation and outrage for the last several months was real, and it has now been made official. States now have the right to regulate the brutal practice of abortion as they see fit, a move toward respect for human life and basic morality we haven’t seen in this country since slavery was abolished. It’s hard to overstate how big of a day this is for those who have fought so diligently to protect the lives of unborn babies.

The Supreme Court on Friday overturned Roe v. Wade, the 1973 ruling that legalized abortion, allowing a Mississippi law passed that bans abortions after 15 weeks to take effect. “The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote for the 6-3 majority. The ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization means each state will now be able to determine its own regulations on abortion, including whether and when to prohibit abortion.
