The downtown Minneapolis Target store is making changes to the building to address safety concerns and encourage more shoppers to come inside. The hustle and bustle of downtown Minneapolis is home to Ninth Street and Nicollet Mall. “It’s a busy corner. Here’s a lot of foot traffic and buses that come through here,” said Justin Miller, who works downtown. (snip) “I’m really on high alert. I won’t even walk on this side of the street,” Cohns said. “Plenty of drugs, all ages selling it and buying it and a lot of stealing out of Target.”

Target started circling the drain 20 years ago when they refused the Christmas Bell Ringers! WOKEST of the Woke work there! Awful place to work! Worse to shop there! Use to work 2 blocks from that corner! We use to party until 1:00AM and then walk blocks to our cars. Never a concern in the world! Those days are done!

Target used to be THE most favorite store of Mrs. R, but that changed when they went "woke" on their bathroom policy. She stopped casting a shadow at their entrance. Target lost its appeal and is now dead to us. Target, like so many corporations, have sold their souls for "the current thing," regardless of the immorality or unsustainability of it. God gave us laws and morality for a reason. Try changing them at your own peril.

Gingrich led the 1994 midterm blowout that helped Republicans gain 54 seats and their first majority in 40 years, the type of midterm result that today’s GOP lawmakers seemed to think is possible, given President Biden’s miserable job approval and inflation’s continuing to soar. The Biden administration on Tuesday proposed changes to the federal civil-rights statute banning sex discrimination in federally funded education programs, including expanding protections to sexual orientation and gender identity. One proposed change “would make clear that preventing any person from participating in an education program or activity consistent with their gender identity would subject them to more than de minimis harm on the basis of sex and therefore be prohibited, unless otherwise permitted by Title IX or the regulations.” If adopted, the rule change would bar universities and any other federally funded institutions from maintaining men’s and women’s sports and sex-segregated spaces like locker rooms and dormitories.
