Back when Target was just a higher quality version of Wal-Mart, I usually shopped there at least twice a week. I even had a Target credit card. We bought our very first HDTV there (and they weren't cheap in those days). But then they went massively woke, especially with the policy to allow pervert males into the ladies' restrooms, and I have probably shopped at a Target maybe 5 times in all the years since -- only when I couldn't find an item I had to have right then at any other store. And each time was in the store for that item only, and out again.

I used to tease that my wife had a time-share at Target, we'd buy there all the time. I didn't like their left-wing bent so we pretty much stop going there. I have been inside a Target in 20 years.

I'd like to say it's their wokeness that keeps me from shopping there. I'd like to - the social pushback would be delish, but honestly, I just don't like the store or the stuff.

Target: 'an environment many of us haven't seen before'... Where corporate policy empowers any perverted middle aged man (who says he feels girly at the time), to watch my little girl go pee. Sure some girls get rapped from these policies, but that's a price their CEO is willing to have your daughters pay to accomplish their woke agenda.

CEO Brian Cornell is 63 years old. He should have some memory for the Carter years with stagflation, gas shortages, and a bumbling president in office. He should have seen it coming.

By its actions, Target told me years ago it didn't value female customers. The corporation declared that men who were "uncomfortable" sharing restrooms with other men could just use the Ladies Room, thus stripping female customers of their own safe space. When men can't be comfortable around other men in restrooms, why would anyone expect women to put up with men in THEIR restrooms?

Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) knew he had a problem when Newt Gingrich showed up at the House GOP retreat in Florida in March. Gingrich led the 1994 midterm blowout that helped Republicans gain 54 seats and their first majority in 40 years, the type of midterm result that today’s GOP lawmakers seemed to think is possible, given President Biden’s miserable job approval and inflation’s continuing to soar. Minnesota could become a destination for abortion services for women from other states if the U.S. Supreme Court throws out the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, and the state's abortion providers said Tuesday that they're preparing for the anticipated surge. That's because abortion would remain legal, at least for now, under a 1995 Minnesota Supreme Court ruling known as Doe v. Gomez, which effectively established a right to abortion under the state constitution, said Laura Hermer, a professor at the Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
