Ten Republican Senators joined with the Democrat majority to broker a deal on a gun control package that includes funding for “red flag” laws that critics note violate due process rights and will certainly be used to target conservative voters. The deal has been reached and the vote is scheduled to take place later on Tuesday night.
“Top Republican negotiator Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, who got booed at the party convention in his home state over the weekend, said he, Murphy and the other two top Senate bargainers had reached agreement,” Politico reported.

All of these RINOS took an oath to preserve and protect the Constitution, I wonder if they have even read it. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms Shall not be infringed."

I read that many of them got a pass,....they could vote for this because they're not running for re election. So it won't matter that they're screwing our Constitution. And us.

Open lawfare. This is Unconstitutional on many levels. 2nd Amendment and due process. Take it all the way to SCOTUS if necessary.
Wish we had a rule that Congress critters who voted for unconstitutional laws would have to face an immediate recall vote.

'Reforming' the GOP, like 'resistance' to the Borg, is futile.
When the underlying framework of a structure [financing in politics] is compromised, the only option is to raze it and replace it.

The Second Amendment trumps all gun laws. A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. Couldn't be any plainer.

Cornyn has always been a slippery oily swamp critter. Guess he's made up his mind not to run again, but instead will use the remaining years of his term to ingratiate himself to his Swamp Masters and begin to feather his nest as a lobbyist.

Several days ago, I got a call from some Republican organization asking me, "can we count on you to vote in the Republican primary?" I said "no," and hung up the phone during the shocked silence that followed. My state Republicans have nominated a series of RINOs who have handed the state over to the Democrats. Why bother to vote?

What was that old saying about "snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory"? Go RINOs!

Remember their names. Work hard, and contribute heavily to ensure they never screw us over again. They must all be replaced.

GOP establishment and RINOs are afraid…of us. With good reason. They know their time is coming. That’s why they are desperately trying to limit any power we have.

When the thirteen colonies were still a part of England,
Professor Alexander Tyler wrote about the fall of the Athenian republic over a thousand years ago:
A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasure. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most money from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's great civilizations has been two hundred years. These nations have progressed through the following sequence: from bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependency, from
dependency back to bondage.
--Alexander Tyler
At this time in history America is at this point - 'from apathy to dependency'. Destruction from within is the next and last phase for America.
