MSNBC host and commentator Joy Reid spoke out over the weekend about what she feels is unfair media coverage of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Reid blamed the 'white, male media' for treating Harris with a bias that would not be found during the tenure of her predecessors, in an interview with The Root.
'Think about her portfolio, voting rights, immigration and the border, and police reform. The things on her plate are the toughest things that the Biden Administration has to deal with outside of inflation and the war in Ukraine,' said Reid.

Why would I want to get to know someone who talks to me like I'm 5yrs old? Or who laughs about serious issues?

We treat her exactly like a lazy, promiscuous, not-very-bright, America-hating ho should be treated. We don't like Reid much either.

As fair, for example, as former vice presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, and Dan Quayle?

If you may remember, Joy, we felt the same way about Michelle. They all have one thing in common, they hate us more than we hate them.

Joyless is wrong...again. We have seen Kamala embarrass us time after time with her feckless incompetence. Nothing that heels up says or does surprises anyone. She is a walking, talking punchline. No one will ever convince me that 81 million voters chose this bimbo for VP.

Border - build the wall.
Immigration - screen anyone who wants to come here legally.
Voting - must show ID to vote.
Police - let them do their job.
It's not that tough. Even Kammie can do it, but she doesn't.

No Joy, you're wrong. I don't hate Camel, I pity her. Simply because she is a glaring example of what relying on her gender and skin color and not accomplishments has done to set her up to look like the fool she truly is. Since she obviously has cognitive disabilities, how she's been exploited, is a clear violation of the ADA.

Camela Embarrass that’s her name! Another affirmative action FAIL! Add to the list of Obama, Lightfoot, Bowser, Sharpton, J Jackson, Holder, and the list goes on. Time for competent leadership as we can’t survive more OJT picks.

When LBJ began his War On Poverty, certain individuals came forward to soak up the money. They were called, by their black peers, poverty pimps.
Kamala is part poverty pimp.
There is a term in psychology called character armor. It can be defined as behavior that protects us against our feelings.
Kamala Sutra's laugh is part of character armor. (Character armor is not necessarily related to intelligence. I have worked for physicians, while a USAF medic, who were brilliant, but had such quirks as Kamala does. And patients were sometimes offended by the physician.)
Most important, Kamala spent her legal career as a prosecutor. That means she had to be trough, abrasive, and willing to to after defendants in ways some of us would find to be unacceptable. It is hard to hang up one's work clothes at the end of the day, or end of one's career.
Finally, sociologists talk about 'the marginal man.' The term is applied to first generation immigrants who struggle to fit in two cultures, simultaneously. Kamala is a first generation immigrant who has been subjected to Indian culture, American culture, Canadian culture, Jamaican culture. and California culture. (I consider California to be a culture distinct and separate from American culture.)
She has to be conflicted.

All you have to do is watch her speak. White males have nothing to do with her demeanor, horrible laugh and incompetence. This is written by a woman who cringes every time I see or hear her. American women can do better than this, at least I hope so, and it ain't Hillary.

She's a brainless, zero talent slut who slept her way to the top. Her only 'skills' are apparently in the bedroom. And in normal, polite company she is an embarrassment because of her dim mind, inane speech patterns and her addled giggling like a 5 year old.

@14 In my wildest dreams I can't picture Kamala as someone being tough enough to be a FAIR prosecutor. I think she can throw her female weight around and talk tough but in the end it means diddly squat. You will remember she was the first candidate to drop out of the running. I cannot stand to listen to her or watch her in a video.

It's sad to realize that the only things that we can laugh about in 2022 America are Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

#26, I didn't say she was a fair prosecutor. I talked about the outward toughness the typical prosecutor displays. (Except for the Soros supported prosecutors.)

My opinion of her is based on my knowledge of how she rose to prominence in California, the double standards she practiced as a prosecutor, and by listening to her speak to, or more accurately "at" the public. Also, by the unimpressive way she handles tasks that have been delegated to her. And the fact her own staff doesn't seem to to like working for her.
Gutfeld or Hannity played no role in my perception of her. She was promoted beyond her level of competency a long time ago.

The Black Conservative commentator I watch on Rumble played a montage of our bike riding fearless leader Creepy, Sleepy, Ridey, Sloppy Joe aka Lance Armstrong and our very intelligent and articulate vice president Cackling Kamala. It went back to when she ran for president until now. Let's just say she's a hot mess. Speaking of hot messes Joy Reid aka the love child of Carrot Top and Whoopi Goldberg as usual has it wrong. I for on do not have to get to know the number #2 member of our Executive Branch of Government. All I have to know is if he or she is competent, intelligent, ethical, and trustworthy. Sorry Joyless but Harris isn't any of those whatsoever. She makes guys like Spiro Agnew, Walter Mondale and Dan Quayle look like political geniuses. She also gets treated in the so called White male media far better than Dan Quayle ever was so her premise is of course wrong.

Well there is unfair treatment of Kamala Harris. And I am looking into the unfair treatment of Kamala Harris. So we should all understand that there is unfair treatment of Kamala Harris. And perhaps the unfair treatment of Kamala Harris can be explained by the treatment of Kamala Harris which is unfair.
Or perhaps it's because she never actually answers a question. She just repeats the premise in several different ways until she finally stops talking and takes the next question.

One would want to 'know' Harris just as one would want to 'know' a porn actress. Both advance professionally by having sex. I know in Joy Reid's world that must be an exciting activity since she has no chance of participating. However, for the rest of us in the US, we aren't impressed.

#30. Re your mention of Dan Quayle as VP.
I had a chance to meet Quayle at a private event a few years after he left office. Contrary to his portrayal in media reports, I thought he was dignified and had an impressive presence. As did his wife Marilyn. I think I have some basis for judgment since I have been around many politicians, military commanders and a few top attorneys.

#35 Dan Quayle's treatment by the press was only a little worse than the usual way they treated any conservative republican. They grab on to some little thing and just beat it to pieces. I don't know how the press can look in the mirror in the mornings.
