Nearly 10 days after a “framework” agreement on additional federal gun laws was reached by a group of 20 members of the United States Senate, the text of the bill was released by Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) Tuesday night, and the Senate is currently (as of press time) taking a vote on whether or not to begin debate on the bill – even while analysts are still digesting it. For those who don’t want to read for themselves or wait for trusted analysts, Murphy posted a tweet thread asking people to “let [him] tell you what it does.” Pardon us if we’re not going to take Murphy’s word

This is nothing but slush funds for the Democrats. The funds will be spent to harass their opponents, and have no effect on school shooters. Our country is lost. The Republican Party is not an opposition party, and is a big reason the country is bankrupt.

Our country is being incrementally destroyed in broad daylight in front of our eyes. Obozo promised fundamental transformation and so far so good. Promises made promise is being delivered. Oh next step in support of Rainbow month we can expect gay sex movies on the Disney channel.

Chances are the Red Flag laws will be unconstitutional. Before that SCOTUS decisions red flag laws are unconstitutional, a lot of gun owners will suffer needless confiscation of their weapons to defend themselves

If the people allow their Constitutional rights to be wiped away with nothing more than a perpetual whine about the weak politicians they elected, then those rights were never that important to them anyway.

My rights are given to me by God, and no man/woman/trans/it takes them away. I remember Ruby Ridge and Waco. I'll die free before bowing to the satanists who have no claim to govern me. The older I get, the less I have to lose. Bring it on, Brandon!

On newscasts, when someone is apprehended, a long list of crimes that they have been charged with is given. Almost always, the last crime is possession of a gun by a convicted felon. If that law doesn't work why will additional laws work? If you buy a gun and give it to a friend or relative and no money changes hand, is that a straw purchase. We need less laws; not more.

Leftist politico's and the msm have already decided that, e.g., anyone who thinks that FJB is not the legitimate WH resident MUST be nuts, by definition. So, they have that time-honored "mental loophole" to back up their mass confiscation orders. Who says these people are ignorant of history? They sure paid attention to their poli-sci professors when it came to Stalin, Hitler and Mao.

I guess it’s limerick time again so here goes:
GUN CONTROL IN POETRY
They’ll come for my weapon, oh yes
But learn to their pain and distress
Instead of my gun
They’ll get slugs one by one
At three thousand plus fps.

"That shall not be infringed" still stands as the law of the land regarding the bearing of arms. All the mental health BS in this bill abridges that clause. All the red flag BS in this bill abridges that clause. This bill abridges that clause. As such the bill is unconstitutional. Until the 2A is amended, any federal gun legislation is unconstitutional, Period.

How many trillions are going to be spent on this demonrat and RINO sponsored bill? How much longer are these people going to guarantee inflation and recession on this Republic?

I'll be squirreling a few guns and ammunition away in the house, away from the main storage cabinets and lockers. If they come for them, they wont get all of them.

Tilli$$ and Burr are RINO's and rabid anti-Trumpers. Burr is not running for re-election, so good bye B###h. TillAss got Trumps weak endorsement last time; he wont ever got it again. I expect him to lose the next time he runs. He was instrumental in getting rid of Congressman Cawthorn in western NC by putting up political lies and pushing another RINO buddy. He is a slut for McConnell and that RINO club. If both Tillass and LittleDickBurr fell out of the sky in a plane crash, NC has not lost anything.

#16, amen, but with one little caveat. Madison Cawthorn caused his own problems. Tillis actually kept him a viable candidate by attacking him. Many people voted FOR Cawthorn only because Tillis came out against him.
Tillis and Burr are worthless scum.

Except for some minor amendments and tweaks this 80-page Bill was drafted before the Texas school shootings. It's includes major intrusion by federal agencies into schools and federal government spending that has nothing whatsoever to do with gun safety.

Why is a spending bill being crafted in the senate? Spending bills are supposed to originate in the house. That was a big issue when the Democrats pushed through Obamacare. What has changed. Do some rules only matter if the media chooses to talk about them? We know this is being crafted in the senate because it is in the senate that there are enough RINO senators who don't face voters for long enough time that they can allow their name associated with this. If it is crafted in the house it will be so partisan then it would not pass when it reached the senate. Demand that the house an senate follow their rules.

RINO Cornyn is having a FYGMO moment. Now that he’s retiring, he can screw over the Republicans and the country. He must have a lot of media interviews lined up to get the liberal love he so craves. For those who weren’t in the military, FYGMO is F You, Got My Orders.
