CNN had its smallest audience in 22 years on Friday among the demographic most coveted by advertisers as the network continued its ongoing struggle to attract viewers. CNN averaged only 56,000 viewers between ages 25-54 on June 17. The last time CNN had a smaller turnout among the critical category was July 10, 2000.  Friday was also CNN’s smallest weekday audience among total viewers since June 2014, as the network settled for only 283,000 average viewers. By comparison, Fox News averaged 1.4 million total viewers and 209,000 in the key demo. It was Fox News' largest advantage over CNN since August 6, 2015. The dismal turnout capped a miserable three-day stretch for CNN,

So what? They’re still making money. Look at the high end brand name companies companies that advertise on CNN and MSLSD compared to the companies that advertise on Fox; particularly, in prime time. Woke corporations prop up these left wing cable networks. But conservatives are too lazy beat the left at its own game and organize effective boycotts of these corporations and nothing will change.

Conservatives won't watch communist propaganda that openly mocks them and liberals already know everything under the sun (just ask them). The geniuses who run the MSM haven't figured that out yet, but when they hit rock bottom, the US taxpayers stand ready to bail them out because these propaganda mills are "vital to our democracy."

Gas-Tax Holidays Met by Skeptical Congress

President Biden urged Congress to suspend the federal gas tax in a speech at the White House on Wednesday. Biden explained that the federal suspension, if enacted, would pause an 18 cent-per-gallon tax on gasoline and 24 cent-per-gallon tax on diesel. While those tax revenues are generally directed toward the Highway Trust Fund for upkeep of American roads, Biden claimed the tax could be suspended without harming the fund. “With the tax revenues up this year, and our deficit down over $1.6 trillion this year alone, we’ll still be able to fix our highways and bring down prices of gas,” said Biden. “We can do both

President Biden on Wednesday will call on Congress to suspend the federal gas tax for three months as Americans contend with record-high gas prices. The gas tax holiday would cost roughly $10 billion, according to a fact sheet released by the White House. However, Biden will ask Congress to enact the suspension without harming the Highway Trust Fund, which receives funds from the tax revenue. The president will suggest Congress use other revenues to make up for the loss, the New York Times reported. “Look, it will have some impact, but it’s not going to have an impact on major road construction and major repairs,” Biden said earlier this week.

Nearly 10 days after a “framework” agreement on additional federal gun laws was reached by a group of 20 members of the United States Senate, the text of the bill was released by Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) Tuesday night, and the Senate is currently (as of press time) taking a vote on whether or not to begin debate on the bill – even while analysts are still digesting it. For those who don’t want to read for themselves or wait for trusted analysts, Murphy posted a tweet thread asking people to “let [him] tell you what it does.” Pardon us if we’re not going to take Murphy’s word

Those brief conversations with reporters on Rehoboth Beach in Delaware are getting a little weird. The president and Jill are having a vacation at their beach house with other family members. Usually, Biden ignores reporters and the questions they shout to him but today he stopped during a walk on the beach and began to answer some questions. Biden was asked about the very real possibility of a recession. She said that a majority of economists now believe the United States is headed into a recession after last quarter’s negative growth. Biden attacked. He accused her of lying and sounding like a Republican politician. Then he immediately caught

President Joe Biden ridiculed oil company CEOs on Tuesday for criticizing his energy policies as gas prices hit record highs in the United States. In a letter to the president on Tuesday, Chevron CEO Mike Wirth criticized Biden and his administration for being more willing to “criticize, and at times vilify, our industry.” “These actions are not beneficial to meeting the challenges we face and are not what the American people deserve,” Wirth wrote. When asked to respond to the letter, Biden mocked oil CEOs for criticizing him after he said he was considering using his emergency war powers to increase gas production. “I didn’t know they’d get their feelings hurt that quickly,” Biden said,

Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw lambasted the law enforcement response to the mass shooting in Uvalde as he testified before a Texas Senate special committee on Tuesday, while releasing to the public the most comprehensive official timeline to date. The timeline, based on security footage, phone recordings and police body cameras, places Pete Arredondo, the chief of police for Uvalde school districts, at the scene at 11:36 a.m. on May 24, just three minutes after the teenage gunman walked unimpeded into the school building. McCraw squarely blamed Arredondo, who was the on-scene commander during the shooting and leading the response, for the delay

Law enforcement had a large enough presence at the scene of the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas, last month to have stopped the gunman within three minutes, but the on-scene commander “chose to put the lives of officers before the lives of children,” the Texas public safety chief said Tuesday. “The only thing stopping a hallway of dedicated officers from entering room 111 and 112 was the on-scene commander,” Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw testified before a state Senate committee. He said that the police response to the shooting, which left 19 students and two teachers dead, was an “abject failure.”

The Supreme Court on Tuesday struck down a Maine education policy that made K-12 schools with religious instruction ineligible for taxpayer-backed tuition aid. The 6-3 decision broke along ideological lines, with the court’s six conservatives ruling that the state’s so-called sectarian exclusion violated constitutional religious protections. Maine law gives school-age children the right to free public education. But because many rural districts lack a public high school, a workaround was devised that allows these students to attend nearby qualifying private schools with public assistance.

The details of the horrific massacre at a Texas elementary school continue to emerge, and it seems the more we learn the worse things look for the police who responded to the call. Let me preface this by saying two things: First, we still don’t have all the details about the shooting in which an 18-year-old gunman killed 19 students and two teachers and wounded 17 other people at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. Second, police have incredibly difficult jobs, requiring them to make split-second decisions while under enormous pressure under extremely dangerous and stressful situations. Audible said the pair plan to use their new platform to 'tell stories that elevate diverse voices and and experiences'. The Obamas cut ties with Spotify after reportedly clashing with the streaming giant over exclusivity and how much they were expected to appear in episodes.
