Despite our "anxiety" about high gas and food prices, Joe Biden says we need to cheer up: Americans are "more financially comfortable" than at any time in the past decade.
According to the White House statement he read out from his vacation lair at Delaware's tony Rehoboth Beach:
The job market is the strongest it’s been since just after World War Two. We’ve got more evidence of that today. We learned that in May the economy added another 390,000 new jobs, bringing the total since I took office to 8.7 million new jobs — an all-time record.

Just watched a 2004 movie "Anchorman" which had a line "Ron Burgandy will say anything that comes across the teleprompter - and I mean ANYTHING". Made me think of our TOTUS.

I can't believe that they believe this obvious lie. They know that the economy is a total shambles, and they intentionally have created this disaster.
Most Americans are suddenly struggling with multiple financial aspects of their lives, from having a job, to putting food on the table, and being able to afford to drive their car. Dems have smashed the superb Trump economy so rapidly that it is shocking that they can wreck an economy so rapidly and so thoroughly.
Malicious intent. They are both evil and stupid.

I worked at the PA primary polls, the dems I work with were complaining about the cost to fill their gas tanks.

I read some years ago, that before the crash of 1929 the government was trying their hardest to convince the people that the economy was strong too. I think this is an instance of history repeating itself. Besides that, Biden (as we all know) is a liar.

It's amazing they are counting jobs that essentially returned after being shut down by the government mandates as "new jobs created".
When someone at my company retires, or leaves, then is replaced, they don't count it as adding a new job.
I'm sure Joseph Goebbels is very proud to see his scheme is still useful:
A master orator and propagandist, he is generally accounted responsible for presenting a favourable image of the Nazi regime to the German people.

Biden is a joke! He should stand outside any gas station where Americans are gassing up their automobiles and tell those people that they are financially better off since he assumed the the presidency, no doubt he would get a mouthful back in return.

That chic who started Black Lives Matter is living pretty good these days, as are the ones who took the COVID Testing money and defrauded the taxpayers, as are the Illegal Invaders who came to Biden-topia to receive thousands of dollars and all the government cheese they can manage.
So, sure, there are "many" who feel "financially comfortable" in these times... but it's worth adding, "AT THE EXPENSE OF OTHERS!"

What bullshit. We're lucky to have our house and vehicles paid off, but with the increase at the pumps, utilities skyrocketing (45% increase by July), food costs increased adding another $200.00 per month just for two of us. Secure? definitely not. Screwed, absolutely.

Keep talking Joe, the campaign ads write themselves and November is coming. Imagine his frustration next year when a Republican congress no longer rubber stamps his liberal nonsense.
