Monkeypox may have been spreading 'under

The monkeypox virus, which has now been diagnosed in hundreds of people in 26 countries, may have been quietly circulating for years before its sudden emergence worldwide, some scientists speculate. Infectious disease experts and scientists at genetic labs are urgently looking for clues to explain why a virus that has been found in West Africa for half a century and typically doesn’t spread readily from person to person made such a dramatic and troubling appearance in the past month. “There may have been undetected transmission for a while,” said Dr. Rosamund Lewis, the World Health Organization’s technical lead for monkeypox

Comments:

There are now 21 cases in the US. Still a small number but increasing every day.

There were several big gay festivals around the world that spread this stuff. When the gays came home, they spread it to their “friends”. The media will drop this when it becomes apparent that it won’t be useful enough for the fearporn they need for ballot stuffing and voter fraud. Plus, it’s a ‘protected’ group and they don’t want the general public to know the disgusting way that it’s usually contracted.

So will Biden and the leftist Democrats try to shutdown the country again during the run-up to the election to save the “gay” community from the spread of monkey pox?

Numbers are increasing because perversion and its risks are WAY out of the closet no matter that shite on a stick is disgusting and intrinsically sinful. Jewish writing states that God decided to wipe out mankind with the Flood when immoral marriages became permitted. He promised afterwards ONLY not to use water next time. How soon, O Lord?

Odd that Fauci has been deeply involved in TWO gay plagues. He was in at the onset of HIV/AIDS and now "monkeypox." And in both cases isolating/quarantining gays has been out of the question. But he acted the dictarorial fool when it came to isolating average Americans with the cold called covid.

While I have no personal involvement in such things, I have read that there are sex tourist deals to Africa, and that the tours are quite popular among some white European men and their wives. That has the potential to make even Fauci happy with his predictions.

"Hundreds of people." That's a real big 'epidemic' you got there. Meanwhile, how many people continue to die in the US because of measles, mumps, and other third world diseases brought in by illegal aliens, or are robbed, raped, murdered, or groomed by immigrants to Northern Europe?

I know that it is spreading fast among Gays because their preferred activity makes the transfer of blood and fluids much easier than casual contact, however, ANY human can contract Monkeypox. This strain also appears to have been altered and not the common west African strain. What happens now with blood products? What about transfusions, and plasma? These were the ways that AIDS went mainstream. Interesting, as a poster above said that Fauci is involved once again. Fauci spoke a few years ago that he was working on a vaccine. This doesn't appear to be fatal at this time. Who authorized and benefited from the purchase of 113 million dose of a vaccine at a cost to us of $119 million, when at that time we had ONE confirmed case in the US.

As the nation looks for ways to cut fossil fuel emissions to meet ambitious carbon reduction goals, natural gas, that common household fuel staple loved by cooks, is feeling the heat. So far, 77 cities and towns and Washington state have banned or discouraged new natural gas hookups. Los Angeles became the latest to join the list when its City Council voted last week to rewrite building codes requiring new homes and buildings achieve zero-carbon emissions – effectively eliminating future natural gas lines. Climate change experts say the shift is a necessary part of the nation's energy transformation. About half of

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Republicans in President Biden’s home state of Delaware held their convention on Saturday, sensing a renewed opportunity for electoral success in November as Democrats face trouble across the country and Biden’s approval ratings sag. Delaware Republicans held their state convention at the Rehoboth Convention Center, where Biden himself had spoken a day earlier in the same room to address May’s jobs report. He was still at his residence in the city when the convention was taking place, and Republican delegates and candidates took the opportunity to march by the convention center, and later toward the beach

KILLINGWORTH, Conn. — As the financially struggling Boy Scouts sell off a number of campgrounds, conservationists, government officials and others are scrambling to find ways to preserve them as open space. A $2.6 billion proposed bankruptcy settlement designed to pay thousands of victims of child sexual abuse has added pressure to an organization beset by years of declining enrollment, and the Scouts and their local councils have been cashing in on their extensive holdings, including properties where some of the abuse took place. Developers have bought up some. Preservation groups hope others can be protected and some legislators have taken notice.

President Biden's virtual meeting Wednesday with industry executives in the South Court Auditorium, a soundstage in the hulking office building adjacent to the White House, was held to highlight the administration's response to the ongoing infant formula shortage. But it backfired. The scripted event ended up highlighting just how slow the White House was to recognize the problem and underscoring persistent questions about how such a veteran administration has mismanaged major crises, not to mention the president's public appearances. Whether it is the last-minute scramble to avoid a diplomatically embarrassing boycott at next week's Summit of the Americas in Los

Abuja - The Nigerian government has banned the sale of bushmeat as a precaution to stop the spread of monkeypox. Experts say it is possible that the virus can be caught by eating meat from an infected animal. But this is not the most common transmission route. (Snip) Scientists are struggling to explain a recent rise in monkeypox cases in Europe, which have not been linked to travel to the African countries where it is endemic. But there
