Three top press officers leave White House
amid reports of dysfunction

Original Article

The beleaguered White House press office suffered another blow this week with the departure of three key staffers for other positions in the executive branch — as a series of reports depict the West Wing in a constant state of chaos. Mike Gwin, who has been the White House rapid response director since President Biden took office, will move to the Treasury Department and become deputy assistant secretary for public affairs. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre described Gwin as an “indispensable member of our team” whose “quiet talent, laser-focused approach, and eagerness to take on whatever challenge comes his way has made him a tremendous asset.”

#9 Strike3 I've said that same thing. All our woes can be fixed in three months or less the lesson is how Biden destroyed it in a month the rest like the economy just followed the trend. We don't have a functioning government. It's a fraud cabal of ignorant misfits standing in front of us Joe Biden is the centerpiece of the idiocy. The Biden administration will be reduced to Jill Biden, Buckwheat the lesbian press secretary and a guy dressed in a female admiral's uniform. President Joe Biden popped into the press cabin during an Air Force One flight Wednesday afternoon, surprising reporters with an off-the-record appearance. But the president spent most of his time complaining about their negative coverage of his administration, according to Politico’s West Wing Playbook, citing “multiple people familiar” with the meeting. Biden spoke with reporters on his way to California for the Summit of the Americas, even as some of the leaders of prominent Latin American countries refused to attend. The establishment media has grown more skeptical of Biden’s efforts to help reduce inflation, lower gas prices, and solve the baby formula shortage that has plagued his administration.

He apparently made it to Justice Kavanaugh’s house before being apprehended: Nicholas John Roske, 26, of Simi Valley, Calif., was charged with attempted murder after two U.S. deputy marshals saw him step out of a taxicab in front of the justice’s house in Chevy Chase, Md., early Wednesday morning, federal prosecutors said. Mr. Roske was dressed in black and carrying a suitcase and a backpack, according to a federal affidavit. Inside the suitcase and backpack, the authorities later discovered a “black tactical chest rig and tactical knife,”

The Department of Homeland Security’s ill-fated disinformation board would have been part of an effort to work with private social-media platforms to police their content, two senators revealed Wednesday, citing new documents provided to them by a whistleblower. The documents described the issues that led DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to want to create the board. Among them were such heated topics as debates over the coronavirus pandemic and efficacy of vaccines, and what Homeland Security described as “conspiracy theories about the validity and security of elections.” The documents also suggested the board would play the role of policy cop at Homeland Security,

Whenever I look at a poll regarding Joe Biden, I keep saying he has to hit a bottom — that he can’t just keep going lower, can he? Of course, he keeps doing things to deserve going lower, so yes, the polls keep getting worse and worse for him. He’s already lower than all modern presidents who held the office. In the last poll, I covered the ABC/Ipsos poll, he was hitting now, in the high 20s, approval on inflation and gas prices, and over 70 percent disapproval. It’s hard to get much worse than that. That was similar to the poll covered on CNN a few days

Pessimism about the U.S. economy is at its highest level in 50 years amid decades-high inflation rates and rising interest rates. Roughly 83% of respondents said the state of the economy was poor or not so good, according to a new poll from the Wall Street Journal and NORC at the University of Chicago. That’s the highest dissatisfaction level since NORC—one of the largest independent research organizations in the U.S.—began conducting the poll in 1972. In addition, more than a third of respondents said they are not satisfied at all with their financial situation. Forty-six percent said they have no chance at improving their standard of living this year

It hasn’t been an easy week for the Washington Post, the disgraced paper was in the news for the wrong reason on three separate occasions. The implication was that her then-husband actor Johnny Depp was the perpetrator. Any responsible news organization would have confirmed with Depp about the allegations prior to publication. The WaPo did no such thing, they published Heard’s version.

I’ve been through these situations before where the story being put forward in public does not make sense and yet everyone seems eager to just move on. If you were around more than a decade ago when a congressman named Anthony Weiner claimed his Twitter account had been hacked you may know what I mean. If you missed that, his story fell apart but he still wound up running for mayor of NYC sometime later before the whole mess surfaced again and he wound up in prison. I had the same queasy feeling a few years ago when Joy Reid claimed that hackers had added anti-gay commentary to her personal blog.

The mega-retailer pulled the beverage due to repeated allegations of monkey slave labor in its production. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) accused the Thai coconut milk supplier of using monkey slave laborers for harvest, which it claims are kept chained and improperly cared for. "The coconut trade uses social monkeys as chained-up coconut-picking machines, depriving them of any opportunity to eat, play, or spend time with their families," said Tracy Reiman, PETA's executive vice president.

Capitol Police compiled a secret after-action review months after the Jan. 6 riots that identified sweeping blunders by the department ranging from delayed deployment of specialized civil disturbance units to the fateful dismantling of an intelligence unit that monitored social media for threats.Identifying 53 areas of failure needing corrective action, the June 4, 2021 report, obtained by Just the News, produces a far more stark portrait of leadership failures than those offered by Democrat-led investigations, making abundantly clear that the Capitol Police under House Speaker Nancy Pelosi were ill-equipped to defend one of America's most symbolic and high-value institutions two decades after the Sept. 11 attacks.
