Steve Kerr was a man of singular talent: He could shoot three-pointers as a reliable role player. Despite his coaching accolades more recently, it’s hard for me to even give him dap since he’s had Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and an entire retinue of all-stars. Let’s be real, I could be a championship-winning coach with that roster. None of his success on the hardwood has stopped Kerry from sharing opinions on either international geopolitical issues or domestic political issues. The elites in society feel entitled to spout off on everything. Leonardo DiCaprio considers himself a Godsend for climate change revolutions.

If you watch the NBA, you're part of the problem.

Blame Republicans for this? The shooter was mentally unstable and would cut his face. That's sick. He belonged in a hospital for the mentally sick. Want to know who closed hospitals for the mentally sick. Ole horn dog clinton. A democrat. he said NO ONE has the right to confine anyone else in a mental facility. Started a huge number of homeless people being on the streets that should have been in a hospital. So Stevie, check out the facts before you open your trap

Maybe he should rant about the necessity to take action that would actually alleviate the problem instead of crying about more “gun control “ and “assault weapons” & “weapons of war”-as if such items were really sold at gun stores. Then he could explain how taking guns away from law abiding citizens, leaving them defenseless makes anyone safer. Crazy’s and criminals don’t care about any law we may pass. THEY are the ones who must be proactively dealt with. Stop worrying about all of their “rights “and we will drastically cut down the number of these terrible murders.

A day and a half now of cable news/politician drama. Blame guns, the GOP, the NRA, no cops at the schools. A lot of the coverage is about how this horror impacted THEM, like anyone cares. At the end of the day this lunatic walked right in via an UNLOCKED DOOR at the back of the school and opened fire. That is how it happened. If the door had been locked this would not have happened. • The last time I watched professional basketball my favorite player was Bob Cousy and his teammates were • Bill Sharman. • Frank Ramsey. • Tommy Heinsohn. • Bill Russell. • Sam Jones. • Ed Macauley. • K.C. Jones. • Arnie Risen. I particularly liked this Bob Cousey comment/opinion on Wilt, The Stilt "Basketball is a team game. When it becomes a one-man operation, as it did after Chamberlain came to Philadelphia, it just doesn't work. You cannot expect nine other guys to submerge themselves and their abilities to one man. It particuarly doesn't work when the man everybody else is feeding isn't helping the others whenever and wherever he can....the argument can be made that Chamberlain only suffers from a poor supporting cast. If you have a man who makes better than 50 percent of his shots, the argument goes, why shouldn't you concentrate on getting the ball to him whenever possible? Carrying it to it's logical conclusion, I would have to ask why should you ever let any other player on the team shoot at all. No, statistics mean nothing in basketball."

The shooter who killed 19 children and two teachers at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday reportedly barricaded himself inside as police waited outside for 40 minutes. According to people who were present at the scene, terrified parents were yelling at police officers to charge the school for 40 minutes until a Border Patrol team finally took him down. “Go in there! Go in there!” parents reportedly shouted. Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) told CNN the standoff occurred after shots had been fired, during which there was a lull in the action. He said:

Having pop culture figures defect from one political party or ideology to another isn’t unheard of. We’ve seen other examples, including Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump, and the late Hollywood actor Ron Silver, all of whom were committed liberals before shifting to conservatism. But what we’re seeing in modern America is very different. In the past year, we’ve seen a noticeable change in the rhetoric from a variety of left and left-of-center public figures. Podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan isn’t just a liberal, he endorsed self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders during the last election cycle.

How low can President Joe Biden go in the public’s estimation? Voters might be about to find out as he appears to be failing on every count. An NBC News poll released Sunday shows Biden’s job approval rating has plunged to a fresh low, with just 39 percent of Americans approving of the job he’s doing and 56 percent disapproving. Those numbers represents the lowest mark of his presidency. Inflation, the economy and border security are the three main areas where voters see Biden failing them. The overall cost of living is standing as the public’s top issue.
