‘Second Amendment Is Not Absolute’:
Biden Demands More Gun Control

Original Article

President Joe Biden called for stricter gun control legislation during his Wednesday address, claiming the Second Amendment allows for limitations on firearm ownership. The president made the remarks alongside Vice President Kamala Harris in the aftermath of the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas, which killed 19 children and 2 teachers. He announced his future visit to Texas alongside First Lady Jill Biden.“As a nation, we must all be there for them. Everyone. And we must ask when in God’s name will we do what needs to be done to if not completely stop, fundamentally change the amount of the carnage

Yeah, Joe, it is absolute. If you want to change it, follow the procedure to do so. There is one but you know no one else with help you so you'll try to chicken out with another executive order. The solution is at least one person working in every school have a gun. They should have a serious background check and training on how to use the gun. That will fix the problem.

I absolutely love how our Founding Fathers gave us, via the Bill Of Rights, the ability to defend ourselves. I've noticed that the anti-gun people are a bunch of snivelling cowards, content to hide behind others when it comes to their protection (tell that to the kids who died at Stoneman Douglas HS, c/o Scot Peterson and his golfcart joyride instead of confronting Nikolas Cruz). Blaming inanimate objects for mass murder when it was a person who pulled the trigger is NOT the way to end school shootings. As long as schools are declared gun-free zines, the kids are vulnerable like fish in a barrel. EVERY teacher should be required to either carry concealed or the school should let it be known there are CDL personnel on site. Protect our kids godammit, instead of hoisting their bloody corpses up for political agendas.

It's pretty funny (is a sick and warped sort of way) how the same Demon-Rats who say that abortion must be legal for the full 9 months of a pregnancy with no restrictions -- even though abortion is mentioned no place in the Constitution -- say that gun rights must be massively limited -- even through the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution is very clear about this matter!!!! Of course, it really comes down to the lie-berals knowing that they can never have the Communist dictatorship they dream of as long as the populace of this great nation is armed!!!!!!

Why is it that democrats are so eager to rid this nation of its right to bear arms? It can’t be because of their belief in the right to life, their support of 60,000,00 murdered babies indicate that is false. It can’t be because their no gun zone policies actually work because clearly they do not. It can’t be because they hate gun crime because the democrat run cities are rife with gun violence and they do nothing meaningful to stop it. Then, what could it be? The only logical conclusion is that they fear an armed citizenry. Why? It is very simple. They plan on doing something to us that we would shoot them for like every communist has done in history. Democrats want our all our freedoms to be determined and controlled by them. These insane zealots are an existential threat to freedom. Never forget that. They want what they cannot ever have, the power to disarm us.

So much for the Presidential Oath of Office to "protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.." Can he even remember taking that Oath? We have had two tyrannical dictators who purposely and flagrantly violated their Oaths in recent years and we are reaping a terrible harvest to bring down our Republic. The Founders KNEW this time of corruption would come and left a remedy called an Article V Convention of States....

Try enforcing existing gun control laws, first. His idiot dopehead son, Humper, purchased a handgun and lied on the Federal Form 4473 stating that he was not addicted to illegal drugs. That is a Federal felony. Instead of being arrested and charged with a crime, the Secret Service attempted to take the form from the gun dealer. Then, Biden's daughter-in-law violated the Federal Gun Free School Zones Act by abandoning the same handgun in the trash can at a convenience store across the street from a high school. Again, no arrest, no charges, violation covered-up and ignored. New laws will have no effect if those in charge do not enforce them. Biden's proposal is about controlling people, not crime.

A small correction #6. The Founding Fathers gave us no such thing. The right of self-defense is natural, and God given. They merely codified it. The difference is very important. One that liberal politicians and the media try to obscure when they talk of 'Second Amendment rights'.

The bill of rights is part of the constitution. The constitution is the people's contract with the government. Biden and other leftists want to change that contract without following the terms laid out in the contract for making changes. The requirements for approving a constitutional amendment are specified in the constitution. The 2nd amendment is not subject to the whims of a pretender to the presidency who was elected through fraud, just as it is not subject to the whims of any president.

The Supreme Court has already upheld it as pretty much absolute. Ownership and concealed carry are legal everywhere as a result. States can license and put some limits, such as age, on gun ownership but they can't ban it. The only way the right to own a gun can be taken away would be to repeal the 2nd Amendment--highly unlikely-- or hope the Supreme Court reverses its prior decisions. The latter is why the Democrats want court-packing and a change in composition on the Court.

It was clearly understood for the first 150 years of our country to include ALL weapons, cannon included, and even armed naval vessels. Tanks had not been yet invented, and machine guns were clearly legal to the point that in 1934 the only restriction that they even IMAGINED that they could put on machine guns was a tax. Now they have added a long, time consuming background check to the tax, and many limits on other weapons which they call "destructive devices", basically cannons, etc. have been outlawed. When I was a teen 20mm antitank guns were sold literally through the mail to anyone, perfectly legally. Gun limitation laws have never reduced crime, only reduced freedom, and all of them are clearly unconstitutional. ALL OF THEM.

Memorial Day is a profound American holiday because it connects the present with so many different points of our past. It was originally known as Decoration Day, a day set aside to honor those who lost their lives in the Civil War—America’s most costly war, taking the lives of at least 620,000 men. Among American holidays, Memorial Day is unique also in that it originated from the vanquished, not the victor. After the war was over, women from the South—Columbus, Mississippi and Richmond, Virginia—set out to decorate with flowers the gravesites of their fallen Confederate soldiers.

Roger Scruton was a British philosopher who spent his life defending conservative values. Sir Roger, as he was after his knighthood in 2016, saw the antagonist culture as a rejection of inherited values, including gender distinctions, capitalism, patriotism, religious faith, and everyday morality such as honesty and prohibitions against theft, adultery, and other evils. No one understood antagonism better, on a theoretical level, than Scruton, and he wrote with passion and clarity. For anyone wishing to understand the culture of antagonism, Scruton's books, including The Meaning of Conservatism, The Aesthetics of Music, and How to Be a Conservative, are a good place to start.
