I just wonder what the happy world the Leftist screaming me-me's envision. Do they have a logical end goal? When their plan (pick any subject, but for now, fuel:) to eliminate fossil fuels - rather poorly conceived idea at this point - start to backfire when the unintended consequences kick in (harder), can they explain how to solve the NEW PROBLEMS they are creating? Everything is unstoppable oncoming train wreck with them.

I live in OK. Driving past oil rigs in a field, none are pumping. They used to, tho. So far, in the last several months, I've seen one oil rig pumping. There are plenty of rigs in OK. So no, we don't have much oil by those standards. Fact is we have enough oil and natural gas to last this country hundreds of years. No, not exaggerating.

NOT high enough!
We need $5/gallon to stop the planet's climate from changing.
When we hit $5/gallon it will NOT be enough to stop the planet's climate from changing. Then we will need $7/gallon to stop the planet's climate from changing.
Then $10/gallon.
Etc, etc, etc.
Listen to the children. Mother Earth is being raped by Big Oil as we complain about pennies. Our only hope to save her is through Lithium.

I live here, and you won't believe how many dimwits think the oil companies are gouging them. Of course you wouldn't believe how many more know the government is. I have to remove the Biden, "I did that!!" stickers, daily - have to, because I could lose my job if I didn't. Corporations in PA are very touchy about political activism if it's against Democrats.
Secret? If you put them up, about 10AM, they'll usually be up all day unless someone specifically complains. Don't be fancy, don't try to make it permanent, just put it on and replace it the next time you pop through.

Why does this put "all time high" in quotes? Are they, or are they not?
Don't worry, #4 -- $5 a gallon won't seem that bad once it reaches $6 (the way it's been here for a month, already). :sob:

Dems are very angry that you have a nice car and can afford to hop in it and drive where eve you want.
A couple of friends hopped in their nice SUV and drove to the Gulf Coast from Kansas in about a day and a half for a vacation on the beach at a relative's condo starting Saturday. The fact that relatively ordinary middle class folks can afford this freedom, this wide ranging, affordable PERSONAL transportation and vacations in beautiful places just offends the hell out of the Global Elites who want such vacations, such freedoms, such liberty reserved only for THEM. Nothing for the serfs but short range, expensive electric carts, and under strict centralized control.
"We're sorry, you have reached your government mandated monthly allotment of electrical power. Try again next month to get back home."
Remember, they thought that Hunger Games was a plan for their future AND OURS.

If you want to know what they WANT for us, the last time I was traveling in Italy up to Monaco for the Grand Prix, diesel fuel was about $9 per gallon. Rental agencies only had diesels. A bit tricky to convert liters to gallons, but their fuels are ultra expensive.
You can bet that the leftist ecocrazies want that and HIGHER here. Count on it. $4 to $6 per gallon is just not high enough to suit them. You must have an electric vehicle or ride public transportation, if they have their way.

We Pennsylvanians didn’t vote for him but our leaders helped steal it. Watch 2000mules. Excellent….but now we need someone to stand up and investigate it. Mastriano? Jake dropped the ball.

$3.97/gal here in NE FL, but I don't expect that to last long so I'll top off my tank tomorrow. I don't let it get below 3/4 tank. It's cheaper to fill it that way.

I'm in south central PA; I filled up yesterday at 3.95/gallon only because I got gas at my supermarket and had enough points to take off 50 cents/gallon. Even so I paid in excess of 30$ to fill my 15 year old Corolla.

Elected officials at every level of govt should be barred through constitutional amendment from having any say so regarding our natural resources. They were put on this earth for us to use, not to be dangled as a political tool which to beat us over the head.
