Netflix's recent axing of 290 staff targeted many of the firm's wokest workers who are prolific social justice warriors on social media, it has been claimed. The struggling streaming service has pulled the plug on several projects that were aimed at discussing race and LGBTQ issues, Variety reported, and axed the diverse employees working on and promoting them. A total of 150 recruitment workers were fired, as well as another 70 animators, and 70 contractors working on promotional materials for the firm including social media and publishing. The majority of people are not interested in hearing the whining 'woe is me' tale. People want some escapism & fun or TV that is educational & profound. They are tired of the lying propaganda. People are not as stupid as the SJW types think. They do not want the pablum & tripe of 'I am a victim because somebody was mean to my ancestors'. First of all - that tale is plain poison - it misdirects emotional energy. Oh yes, someone may have been mean to your ancestors - to your Mom & Dad or even to you - but that is not what is holding you down. What is holding you down is you giving those stories too much power over your life. Example: Thomas Sowell tells the story of a young graduate from Dartmouth, who was black, getting up in a Q &A session and asking - what am I going to do since white people are all racists & are against black people? What do we as a society do when someone with all the advantages of a 'good' college education belives he has no power over his own life? The propaganda was successful in ruining this man's outlook on life.

They do not represent the American ethos and it is clear that despite what they think, the American people are a force to be reckoned with.

"content designed to appeal to a tiny minority that had sent viewers switching-off in their droves." It is simple, woke content developers are writing material that appeals to "their" audiences. Very small audiences. People NOT in those audiences are switching it off in disinterest or disgust. As woke content becomes pervasive, Netflix is cancelled. It's simple consumer choice. If I LOVE broccoli and decide broccoli ice cream would be WONDERFUL and create a company to produce it, I doubt it would be successful simply because almost no one shares my "interest" in broccoli ice cream. Of course whenever woke people are rejected, it's an expression some type of evil "ism" instead of simply that viewers find their work uninteresting. No, I don't have to find pregnant men worthy of my viewing. Let all the woke band together to create their own network that no one will watch. Such things have been tried and failed. Now the woke are infiltrating existing, successful companies and poisoning from inside.

Netflix sure has gone the full circle. I remember when it was Blockbuster Video where you went to rent some of your favorite movies on VHS video cassettes. Then it got too big and too corrupted with wokeness. Like many other companies of its time, Netflix assumes that we would willingly spend countless hours watching their totally useless and lefty content. My wife and I never subscribed to it and have no regrets either.

Actually I think it's great that Netflix listened to us, admitted their errors, and is DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT. I believe that positive reinforcement encourages permanent change so I won't keep twisting that dagger. I don't see how it's beneficial to keep chastising or bad-mouthing an organization that has publicly acknowledged a mistake and taken steps to correct it. Shouldn't we be giving credit where credit is due?

The millions/billions that Netflix and other streamers pay for original content is usually a total waste unless it is something everyone wants to watch. These projects may get some viewers but not enough to justify their cost. Also original content usually is not of the highest quality production, acting is marginal and storyline predictable.

Perhaps Netflix decided to follow a simpler business model by attempting to produce content people will actually pay to see. CNN+ may have paved the way for this concept. In the meantime their employees care nothing about profitability or shareholder value so they need to go somewhere else to huddle with likeminded losers.

There was a time when Netfix provided entertainment to people instead of INDOCTRINATION. The terms "marginalized" and "underserved" are NOT the same. High-crime neighborhoods are 'underserved' because businesses are not safe to transact business in blighted areas of cities. Marginalized people like entertainment too, but to focus on political issues at the behest of Nobama and his puppet JoeBamaBiteMe to upend societal norms through 'woke' counter culture ideas was a bad business mistake. No one should support the idea of hurting or people.... so it is a personal choice to choose whatever programming they want to subject themselves and their families with during their leisure time. People generally don't like being talked down to or 'marginalized' for having a different view. Turn it off

Very simple. Netflix was paying salaries and overhead for employees who did nothing to improve the bottom line. They certainly weren't promoting 'diversity' out of the goodness of their hearts. Catering to a small group is never profitable.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is meeting today in Davos, Switzerland trying to decide our future. They think. I’ve written about these characters on the Great Reset and how Joe Biden stole his “Build Back Better” saying from Boris John and the WEF. Here’s Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau talking about that opportunity in 2020. Then there was how they talked about how “lockdowns are quietly improving cities around the world.” Imagine anyone thinking that’s a good thing — but it is to these guys because they don’t care about human liberty.

Katz told National Review that he learned that he’d been fired only after the New York Times called his wife, and said the university sent his notice of termination to the wrong email address. The Washington Free Beacon first reported that Princeton was planning to fire Katz. Katz was briefly suspended from the university in 2018 over the consensual relationship with a student

Netflix telling its woke employees that if they really don’t like what the company is doing they should find work elsewhere was a sign that the streaming service was leaving behind a lot of its woke past and embracing a far less politically leftist bent. It was widely believed that Trump was going to cruise to re-election in early 2020. The economy was roaring, and the Democrats’ absurd efforts to impeach him failed to kill his momentum. But when the pandemic hit, there were massive changes to election laws, many of which were done illegally, and many say the changes made our elections more susceptible to fraud. However, the pandemic is essentially over now, and Democrats are heading into the 2022 midterms in a terribly weak position.

See the triple-bylined AP story “Biden: US would intervene with military to defend Taiwan.” The AP reports from Tokyo: President Joe Biden said Monday that the U.S. would intervene militarily if China were to invade Taiwan, saying the burden to protect Taiwan is “even stronger” after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The world population checks in at just a little under 7.9 billion people. Of that number, Europe has identified 100 cases of monkeypox and the United States has identified...two cases (out of a population of roughly 330 million people). Nevertheless, Joe Biden is already hard at work ratcheting up the fear. Based on the information available, though, we probably don’t need to worry and this should not turn into a government power grab, complete with election control. Preliminarily, Dr. Robert Malone has written a great post about monkeypox (“Truth versus Fearporn”), from which I’ve gleaned a lot of my facts about the disease.

I’m surprised Biden is already in “concerned” mode about this. The political incentives require it, I suppose, as he’d be pilloried by Republicans if he downplayed the outbreak only to have it erupt nationally later. (He’s been burned by premature declarations of victory over viruses before.) But you would think a guy who got elected promising normalcy, facing an electorate that’s exasperated by his failure to deliver on that pledge, would want to ease people’s minds about the latest Thing To Freak Out Over. The burning question about the global monkeypox outbreak is whether the virus has evolved

These people will get us all killed. Mitt Romney called on our NATO allies to prepare for a nuclear strike from Russia. The US has already invested tens of billions of dollars in military weapons to Ukraine. The New York Post reported: The US and its NATO allies should prepare a “devastating” response to potential Russian nuclear action, Sen. Mitt Romney said on Saturday. The call to action comes on the heels of threats from the Kremlin and warnings from Russian diplomats that the country’s Ukraine invasion could lead to a nuclear strike, the Utah Republican wrote in an op-ed for The New York Times.
