Man shot and killed on NYC subway in broad
daylight, cops say

A 46-year-old man was killed when he was shot on a Manhattan subway train Sunday morning, cops said. The man, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was shot on a moving northbound Q subway near the Canal Street Station around 11:42 a.m., according to cops. Attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. The shooter was wearing a gray hoodie that said “Aeropostale” on it, police sources said.

Comments:

Dandy Mayor Dude is urging the CEOs of JPMorgan Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, and other corporate leaders to get on the train, saying that New York is back. Meanwhile, here's what appears to be a White man of approximately the same age as these movers and shakers being hauled out on a stretcher. Maybe the straphanger failed to bring along an armed security detail the way the mayor does on his photo ops. No description of the shooter in the short article (all of which appears above); maybe they're saving on virtual ink.

Under ordinary circumstances the dark-skinned heavyset man with a beard wearing a dark-colored hoodie would be accused of an anti-LGBTQ+ hate criminal, but there's a definite pecking order to these things, so instead it's just a random crime instead of an anti-White or anti-queer crime. FTA: "The victim’s partner, shaking with grief, told the Daily News he was in touch with a family member who was devastated over the senseless killing. The partner declined to speak further about the shocking loss." https://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/nyc-crime/ny-man-shot-q-train-canal-street-subway-station-20220522-d3zphuiwenc3lh2m3z7i4cgdbm-story.html

Rising fuel prices motivated California gun owners to give 134 firearms to the Sacramento Police Department in exchange for $50 gas cards, the department reported Sunday. A statement posted on the department’s Facebook page said the Gas for Guns Buyback program ran out of gift cards 45 minutes into Saturday’s five-hour event. “Among the firearms received was at least one assault weapon, numerous components for privately manufactured firearms (ghost guns), and multiple other illegally configured firearms,” the statement read. California has among the highest gas prices in the nation. According to Gas Buddy, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in California on Monday morning was $6.051,
