Naomi Judd's daughters, Wynonna and Ashley, both broke down in tears during a ceremony to induct their late mother into the Country Music Hall of Fame - just 24 hours after her passing. She was 76.Judd, who publicly admitted her struggles with 'extreme depression,' died from 'the disease of mental illness,' her daughters said in a statement Saturday. On Sunday, the pair cited a bible verse and lamented that Naomi Judd, who performed for years with Wynonna as 'The Judds,' hadn't lived to receive the honor herself.'My mama loved you so much,' Ashley Judd said to the crowd gathered. 'And I'm sorry that she couldn't hang on until today,'

I wonder what she actually died from? Not mental illness. Must have committed suicide, which is "kind of" dying of mental illness.

My mother died from depression in a way...she starved herself to death. I don't think she consciously wanted to die. She just couldn't eat most of the time. So, she didn't. She was a beautiful and brilliant woman. Such a waste. I still miss her.

It's not depression. These two can not say that their mother had dementia. Call it what it really is.

I'm wondering why the Country Music Hall of Fame waited so long to induct the Judd's into the Hall of Fame. Didn't the Judd's have something like 15 number one hits?

My wife and I loved the Judds. I was planning to get tickets for our anniversary to go see them in Nashville for their 'Final Tour', stay at Union Station, go to Loveless's for some fried chicken and biscuits, and walk around the West End campus of our alma mater where we met. So sad to hear of Naomi's death. Very nice tributes by both Ashley and Wynonna, but don't know how anyone could stand on a stage the day after their mother kills herself, though.

Naomi Judd wrote a book about her struggles with depression, openly talked about her struggles and the effect it had on her life. Why would anyone question that she had it?

Whoever leaked Justice Samuel Alito’s draft opinion in a crucial abortion-rights case violated a key tenet of the Supreme Court — and might even have committed a crime, legal experts said Tuesday.“It is a core, central principle of working there to keep everything confidential,” said Washington, DC, lawyer Bill Burck, a former federal prosecutor who clerked for former Justice Anthony Kennedy..If the leaker is a clerk — or even one of the court’s nine justices — “it’s hard to see how a crime was committed” because the document isn’t classified and they’d have a right to possess it, Burck said.

As the fallout over the dramatic alleged Supreme Court leak to Politico continues, takes are coming in from every angle, and commentator Mark Levin hasn’t missed out on an opportunity to weigh in either.Speaking on “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday, Levin attacked the leak itself as a “grave assault” on the integrity of the institution of the Supreme Court of the United States. There’s been speculation that the leak was intended to intimidate justices planning on overturning Roe v. Wade (1973), though as of writing there’s no proof as to who the culprit is (but plenty of speculation), or even if the leak is legitimate.

It isn’t even known if the leak itself is legitimate, but so far, it is being treated as such by just about everyone. The leak has galvanized screaming rhetoric from both sides, with Democrats claiming that women are under attack and democracy is dying, and Republicans outraged over the idea that a leak happened at the Supreme Court, and feel it compromised

The population of California continues to shrink, as residents flee the state's high cost of living and rising crime. California's population declined again in 2021 for the second consecutive year, state officials said Monday, the result of a slowdown in births and immigration coupled with an increase in deaths and people leaving the state. Critics point to the steady stream of people leaving California as an indictment on the state's policies, which are set by Governor Gavin Newsom and his fellow Democrats in the state legislature. About 280,000 more people left California for other states than moved here in 2021, continuing a decades-long trend.

Following the unprecedented leak of a Supreme Court initial majority draft opinion to undo Roe v. Wade huge controversies begin to surface! The document, first obtained by Politico, outlined the potential demise of the landmark 1973 ruling. The revelation sent shockwaves across the nation. Protesters gathered at the fenced-off Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. on Monday night. The leak is likely the product of an ideologically leftist law clerk seeking either to halt a nixing of the abortion ban or to engender support for court-packing, Alan Dershowitz told Fox News.
