The NY Times published a story today about Democrats coming to terms with the fact that an aging Democrat may no longer be fit for office. It’s a story about Sen. Dianne Feinstein. Who did you think we were talking about? At 88, Ms. Feinstein sometimes struggles to recall the names of colleagues, frequently has little recollection of meetings or telephone conversations, and at times walks around in a state of befuddlement — including about why she is increasingly dogged by questions about whether she is fit to serve in the Senate representing the 40 million residents of California, according to half a dozen lawmakers and aides

Joe Biden tried to lay the blame on his never-ending list of failures on Republicans when he delivered that really weird speech about inflation on Tuesday. He blamed everyone but himself and his inept policies, as is his habit. The Wall Street Journal labeled him “President Constanza”. The speech was that bad. One person singled out as the boogeyman standing in the way of Democrats was Senator Rick Scott from Florida. Scott has been reaping the rewards of Biden’s attack ever since that speech.
Scott was interviewed on several shows on Fox News Channel yesterday. Each interview was a chance to rebut Biden’s speech and he took advantage of that.
Let it be known that the politicians of the Democrat Party in Washington are either evil or cowardly with the exception of one.
Reports say that Democrats had brought Roe v Wade to the floor in order to codify it into law. The goal was to legalize abortion nationwide up until birth with what would be no limits. As you can imagine, every single Republican voted against this and they were joined by none other than West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin who had indicated that he’d vote against it earlier in the day.
This resulted in Democrats being 11 votes shy of what they needed to pass Roe into law.
Only after Rep. Katie Porter put bacon in her cart at her local grocery store recently did she notice that its price had spiked to $9.99 a pound. Reluctantly, she put the package back.

A federal judge on Tuesday dismissed a lawsuit challenging Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' law dissolving Disney World's Reedy Creek Improvement District, rejecting the claims of a Miami lawyer running for U.S. Senate as a Democrat.
In the complaint, three residents of Orange and Osceola counties claimed that S.B. 4-C, the law that eliminates Disney's ability to operate an independent governmental entity around its Orlando-area theme parks, unconstitutionally threatens residents with higher taxes, abridges free speech rights, and violates a contractual obligation, the Orlando Sentinel reported. William Sanchez, a Miami lawyer and Democratic Senate candidate, filed the lawsuit last week.
Attorney General Merrick Garland has ordered the U.S. Marshals Service to ensure the safety of Supreme Court justices amid protests sparked by a leaked draft opinion that would overturn Roe vs. Wade.
“The Attorney General directed the U.S. Marshals Service to help ensure the Justices’ safety by providing additional support to the Marshal of the Supreme Court and Supreme Court Police,” the Justice Department said in a press release Wednesday.
The statement did not add further details about the security measures, noting that Garland “continues to be briefed on security matters related to the Supreme Court and Supreme Court Justices.”
A single round from a firearm was shot into a window of the Virginia Attorney General’s Office in downtown Richmond Monday evening.
Chief Deputy Chuck Slemp sent out an email to staffers overnight notifying them of the incident. He said the round was located by housekeeping staff.Virginia Capitol Police were called to the Barbara Johns Building Monday evening. The 13-story building houses the Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares’ office on the sixth floor. Police spokesman Joe Macenka told Fox News that police found a round hole at the top of a window.

University of Nebraska Regent Jim Pillen was projected to win Nebraska’s Republican gubernatorial primary on Tuesday, dealing a high-profile loss to former President Trump, who aggressively backed one of his rivals.

Pillen came out ahead of eight other candidates running to replace Gov. Pete Ricketts (R).

The incendiary rhetoric that is coming from the radical left in response to the recently-leaked draft majority opinion written by Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito on how “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled” just keeps getting worse, with the Biden White House now even encouraging left-wing agitators to break the law by continuing to “protest” in front the homes of conservative Supreme Court Justices in a clear effort to scare and intimidate them.
But perhaps none has been worse than what came from Chicago’s Lori Lightfoot late Monday night when America’s worst mayor, a Democrat, took to the Twitter machine to openly issue a “call to arms”

Via Twitter, the billionaire philanthropist said he will isolate until he is again healthy.
