Portland schools offer free feminine-hygiene
products in boys’ bathrooms for ‘menstruating students’

Portland Public Schools plans to provide free menstrual products in both the boys’ and girls’ bathrooms as districts move to comply with an Oregon state law for “menstruating students.” “Starting next year (2022-23), products will be available in all restrooms (male, female, and all-gender) in every PPS building where education occurs,” said the April 19 memo titled “Update on PPS Implementation of Menstrual Dignity Act.” Last year, Democratic Gov. Kate Brown signed HR 3294, which requires K-12 public schools and universities to stock bathrooms with tampons and sanitary pads at no cost to students to give them the “opportunity for safe, dignified self-care.”

Chances are a lot of those feminine hygiene products are going to be stolen from the boy’s bathrooms with those stolen products being brought home to be used by the boy’s mothers an sisters who are not in the schools.

The Oregon Department of Education said it, so it must be true. Any thoughts to the contrary are disinformation and will be reported to the authorities. FTA: "Why the boys’ restroom? As the Oregon Department of Education explained, 'Not all people who menstruate are girls, and not all girls menstruate.' The department was presumably referring in the former case to female-born students who identify as male but still have a uterus and female cycles, and in the latter case to people who identify as girls but have male reproductive organs."

I’m tired of playing games. There is ONE sex, boys and girls. Jock straps, cups, pads, tampons: every where for every one. One large bathroom and dressing room. Shower and take care of business by whoever you like. Let’s just cut to the chase and make it happen. They want unisex— let’s create it in spades. Goes for “women’s sports, too. The Center, New York City’s LGBTQ community center, is celebrating the life and legacy of Keith Haring by renaming a wing after the beloved late artist. On Wednesday, on what would’ve been Haring’s 64th birthday, The Center announced a new name for its annex building: the Keith Haring Community Wing.
