With all eyes on Ukraine, few are noticing how Joe Biden is ruining relations with a critical nation next door to us, which is Mexico. (snip) it's pretty clear that Biden's dinner triangle to migrants of all countries to come on in through the Mexican border isn't a welcome thing in Mexico.
The dynamics are pretty simple: mass migration means huge smuggling earnings for Mexico's notorious cartels. Because the U.S. won't guard its own border, cartels have stepped in from the Mexican side and declared that they now control the border.

On Saturday, Monica Showalter wrote about the lawsuit that a Democrat special interest group has filed against Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and that an Obama-nominated judge (and sister to leftist “journalist” Nina Totenberg) has allowed to proceed. Considering that the left constantly characterizes Greene as a nutcase, a reasonable person might ask why Democrats need a lawsuit. The answer lies in a Twitter thread Greene posted last week. (snip) it helps to look at a Twitter thread she posted last week, not because her tweets are the work of a nutcase, but because they’re incredible logical, pro-American, and smart

I’ve been assiduously ignoring coverage about the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial. The headlines I’ve seen tell me that it’s incredibly sordid (snip) it seems worthwhile pointing out that Hollywood is a deeply dysfunctional place that has way too much sway over our culture and, worse, over our children. (snip) poor Depp is also the perfect star stereotype: Horrible childhood, limited education, substance abuse, and sexually perverse relationships. On-screen, he’s in control, even if his character is not; off-screen, he married a woman who was famously crazy and vicious and then suffered horribly at her hands because he’s weak and lacks internal resources.

The newly released tape of the House minority leader suggesting the resignation of President Trump may bespeak a swamp that's more contaminated than any of us can imagine. First, who did the recording? And second, who released it? CNBC reports that Representative Liz Cheney denies leaking the tape of her conversation with Kevin McCarthy. (snip) This is looking a lot like the tip of an iceberg. Are the phone conversations of members of Congress recorded routinely? Do they know they're being recorded? And why is only this portion of the tape being released? And why now?

When a man becomes president, he suddenly gains a new appendage: The Secret Service. Wherever he goes and whatever he does, members of the Secret Service are there, keeping an eye on him. And, like all bureaucracies, you can be sure that the agents are required to document everything on their watch. That’s why it’s truly peculiar that, in response to a FOIA request from the New York Post to see documents identifying Joe Biden’s visitors during his regular stays in Delaware in 2021, the Secret Service is claiming that it has no records with that information.

The regime media (the amalgamation of the legacy media, elitist opinion writers, and the internet troika: Google/Facebook/Twitter) finds itself in a quandary of its own making. (snip) The quandary: how does the regime media avoid the exposure of Joe Biden’s lifelong corruption and failures without the public’s inevitable comparison of the two men, their families, and their accomplishments? A comparison that would result in the effective exoneration and rehabilitation of Donald Trump, whom they relentlessly accused of being the most unscrupulous person on earth. A cudgel they could no longer use if he decides to run for the presidency in 2024.

Libs of Tik Tok is one of the most important sites on the internet. Day after day, her account showcases the Democrat base in its own words — and it never reflects well on the party. That's undoubtedly why the WaPo's Taylor Lorenz, who was on the news a few weeks ago weeping about the pain of being exposed on the internet, is set to dox the woman behind Libs of Tik Tok, putting her in terrible danger. (snip) So now, Democrats are going to Plan B to silence Libs of Tik Tok.

If we’ve heard it once, we’ve heard it a million times: 80-year-old Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell is the indispensable man. McConnell’s indispensability, we’re told, stems from his skill shepherding Republican judicial nominees through the process and onto the federal bench. Alternatively, McConnell’s mastery of Senate rules keeps more than a few Democrats off the bench. This is practically lore among Republicans.
But McConnell’s prowess is overstated. As the saying goes, graveyards are full of indispensable men. Okay, give McConnell his due. He’s been an effective manager, advancing and opposing judicial nominations.

For many years, I made my living writing TV shows for Disney. I was proud of my work, considering it a privilege to make kids laugh all over the world. (snip) I grew disillusioned with kids’ TV and walked away from the field.
Every kids' TV writer knows that when crafting a story, you have to be careful about “modeling behavior.” Whatever kids see, they imitate, so you should “model” positive traits in your scripts, particularly when writing for pre-schoolers. (snip) So Disney’s recent commitment to “add queerness” wherever possible can’t be explained as just trying to teach tolerance and inclusivity.

On February 14, 2018, thanks to a complete systemic failure at the school and county level, Nikolas Cruz was able to murder 17 of his classmates at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School. David Hogg, a student at the school, was not among the injured nor was he even in the line of fire (which is, of course, a good thing). Nevertheless, by becoming one of the loudest voices calling for gun control following the shootings, Hogg managed to get a place at Harvard. (snip) Hogg’s musings on Twitter (which are so prolific it’s hard to know how he finds time for school work)

Imagine if 7 separate charges of pedophilia against Catholic priests had surfaced in one day. The progressive media would have blared the total on front pages and on newscasts all day long.
But yesterday, 7 separate cases of accused pedophile teachers came to light, and it took astute blogger (and veteran newspaperman) Don Surber to put together the story of the crime wave.
Courts across the country on Thursday dealt with 7 pedo cases involving teachers. Here are the 7 news stories (snip) The media highlighted pedophilia cases in the Church to the point that pedophile priests became a cliché because of their hostility to the Catholic Church

Behind the masks these days are frightened children and nervous adults who are being carefully schooled to see the world as scary and dangerous -- and coerced to take ineffective defensive measures to protect themselves.
Just recently I saw an older man with wide eyes and a masked face driving alone in his car. Why? Why would anyone choose to wear a fresh-air-constricting, sound-blocking face covering with no danger of any kind to threaten his immediate well-being? The misinformation and fear surrounding the masks we have all been asked to wear is overwhelming.
