What gives with the McCarthy tape?

Original Article

The newly released tape of the House minority leader suggesting the resignation of President Trump may bespeak a swamp that's more contaminated than any of us can imagine. First, who did the recording? And second, who released it? CNBC reports that Representative Liz Cheney denies leaking the tape of her conversation with Kevin McCarthy. (snip) This is looking a lot like the tip of an iceberg. Are the phone conversations of members of Congress recorded routinely? Do they know they're being recorded? And why is only this portion of the tape being released? And why now?

Why now? Well there’s an election in Nov. and the dems are in deep trouble. So let’s cover up the Biden family corruption and make Republicans look bad. Besides the taped call could have been altered. Yup, I smell a Deep State in play. Although, I don’t like McCarthy or Mitchell. I smell a rat, sewer size.

I don't know who Emmer is, and I know Cheney can't be trust at all. But the last I knew, Scalise is loyal to Trump. What does he have to say about all this, other than he didn't leak it?

This latest thing to come out of the Dem bag of tricks is doomed to fail. No one gives a damn about McCarthy. It won’t damage President Trump. His base knows what was going on that day and why - on his side and the side that ended up being corrupted by the FBI, the Capitol police and the fake senators who are still carrying on about it. On January 6 McCarthy may well have been trying to make himself a hero. He simoly didn’t understand and went scurrying for cover. He doesn’t have a MAGA bone in his limp little body.

From his Wiki page: On May 19, 2021, Emmer and the other seven Republican House leaders voted against establishing a national commission to investigate the January 6, 2021 attack on the United States Capitol Complex. Thirty-five House Republicans and all 217 Democrats present voted to establish such a commission.[40][41]

More Democrat dirty tricks showing wimpy Republicans stepping in crap? Notice that Biden is already trying to make political hay by publicly mentioning this incident. One of the best successes that Trump accomplished during his DC sojourn was to “out” a lot of the DC UniParty swamp snakes. That’s evident, as why would McCarthy say that Trump should resign before any legitimate investigation of the January 6th riot took place and the results made public?

Anyone who thinks McCarthy didnt try to get on the right side of the Jan 6th debacle, to save his own skin, wasn’t following the facts. I dont trust either one of them (Cheney or McCarthy). McCarthy knows what transpired on that day. He knows Trump didnt cause it. But as usual, he tried to play both sides after the fact….now trying to say he’s on Trumps side. of course, that’s just to get the Speakership and have Trumps support. I hope Trump knows where his loyalties lie in the House.

With all eyes on Ukraine, few are noticing how Joe Biden is ruining relations with a critical nation next door to us, which is Mexico. (snip) it's pretty clear that Biden's dinner triangle to migrants of all countries to come on in through the Mexican border isn't a welcome thing in Mexico. The dynamics are pretty simple: mass migration means huge smuggling earnings for Mexico's notorious cartels. Because the U.S. won't guard its own border, cartels have stepped in from the Mexican side and declared that they now control the border.

When a man becomes president, he suddenly gains a new appendage: The Secret Service. Wherever he goes and whatever he does, members of the Secret Service are there, keeping an eye on him. And, like all bureaucracies, you can be sure that the agents are required to document everything on their watch. That’s why it’s truly peculiar that, in response to a FOIA request from the New York Post to see documents identifying Joe Biden’s visitors during his regular stays in Delaware in 2021, the Secret Service is claiming that it has no records with that information.

If we’ve heard it once, we’ve heard it a million times: 80-year-old Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell is the indispensable man. McConnell’s indispensability, we’re told, stems from his skill shepherding Republican judicial nominees through the process and onto the federal bench. Alternatively, McConnell’s mastery of Senate rules keeps more than a few Democrats off the bench. This is practically lore among Republicans. But McConnell’s prowess is overstated. As the saying goes, graveyards are full of indispensable men. Okay, give McConnell his due. He’s been an effective manager, advancing and opposing judicial nominations.
