The progressive left’s worst nightmare became a reality when billionaire Elon Musk bought Twitter, a day that will live in infamy for Democrats and their shock troops and the idea that free speech will be restored appears to be of major concern to the White House. (Video) During Monday’s press briefing, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki reacted to Musk’s takeover of the social media giant with her answer suggesting that there could be political moves coming to counter Musk’s relaxing of the censorship of conservatives, an alarming prospect for her party’s control over the narrative.

They're going after disinformation? Don't suppose that means they'll force Apple to remove the pregnant man emoji.

"Congress shall make no law... abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; "
And by extension, if Congress can make no law, then the executive has no authority to do anything.

Interesting. Reforms were always what was happening in the USSR, East Germany and all the other communist countries back in the 1980's. Communist terms right out in the open. This ain't over, folks.

So 'Twitt', when it spewed leftist propaganda and censored all things conservative or opposite the party line, was a private company (with stockholders)and thus, exempt from government oversite/rules. Now that it truly is a private company, the government is going to find they have the authority to tell it how it's to be run. And journalists wonder why congress has ratings below the outhouse!

Imagine if AT&T cut off the phone service to anyone who used it to criticize Democrats. They are a private company, right? Like a phone company, TwitFace can’t be sued for what people say over they network - they are just the middleman. Except they have been the enforcers for the DNC for years. They can not continue to have it both ways. As soon as we start to use the same trick they will close the loophole.

Meanwhile, I just found out that Dr. Robert Malone - cancelled from Twitter because he, inventor of the mRNA platform technology that ended up being used in Pfizer’s and Moderna’s Covid shots, dared to post against the shots themselves, saying that it was a mistake to do mass vaccinations at the beginning of a pandemic and he continued to tell the truth. Cancelled by Twitter, Linkedin, and other social media. He ended up having his own Substack, where he holds forth. An incredibly learned and interesting man.
Yay forMusk!!!!

What? Did we not just live thru a twitter fueled attack on a sitting POTUS, where a fake ivan hoax kneecapped his stinkin' administration for 4 years?
Did twitter not suspend a NeWs PaPeR to squelch a laptop scandal 3 months before a POTUS election?
Did twitter not fuel 2 impeachments based on 100% fake news?
And **Now** you wanna combat misinformation???
This can only mean: they wish to **preserve** misinformation
