The most recent national poll from Grinnell College showed that President Joe Biden’s approval rating was only at 34 percent. The poll found that only 34 percent of adults in the United States approve of Biden’s performance as president, while a majority, 52 percent, disapprove. There were 14 percent that said they were not sure how they felt about his job performance.Biden’s approval was down further when compared to the October poll that asked the same questions. The October poll found that only 37 percent approved of his performance as president, while half of the respondents disapproved.

When you consider that most of the media consistently bolster him and cover for him, this number is artificially high.

And yet...he still occupies the White House. Despite the polls, he will continue to do so until he assumes room temperature, is removed, resigns or is voted out. The polls are only a barometer for how the mid-terms may go.

The last 3 or 4 polls reported have shown his approval falling to about a third. If they've kept falling, they should be at or below zero by now. Sick of spin, on both sides.

I anticipate a big Wellstone-style state funeral to boost dems in October. Kammie will be paid enough to go away. (like Bernie Sanders) Jill will accept the life-long title of First Lady Emeritus.......and clutch the WH drapes when it is time for her to move to a different office in the WH.

By the raw numbers, approximately half of the population is below average in cranial beanage. The one-third of the population that thinks pResident Pantload is doing a good job on the economy is intellectually unsalvageable, and are morons at best. They'll die before they get it. It's rather remarkable that even this illegitimate figurehead, with the media, Big Business, and Big Tech behind him has managed to be feckless enough to earn such embarrassing polling results. Everything else aside, the Republicans had better be doing all they can to stop Democrats cheating in November, which will occur to the extent to which it is allowed to occur. Cleaning up elections is a hill to die on.

White House officials have repeatedly stated over recent months that the purpose of threatening sanctions against the Russian government as it appeared to be preparing to invade Ukraine was one of “deterrence.”But President Biden got testy during a press conference in Brussels Thursday when a reporter suggested that deterrence had not worked in preventing Putin from launching his war last month.“Let’s get something straight,” he told the reporter who asked the question. “You remember, if you’ve covered me from the beginning, I did not say that, in fact, the sanctions would deter him. Sanctions never deter. You keep talking about that.”Biden went on to say that

It’s amazing how often President Trump was pilloried by the leftist media for comments that later turned out to be 100% correct. For example, January 2017, Trump said that his campaign was spied on. Democrats and their media had a meltdown. Last month, the Durham investigation and the Wall Street Journal proved that candidate Trump, president-elect Trump, and President Trump was, in fact, spied on by the FBI (probably the NSA as well). Then, October 2020, Trump said, “The policies of the Left would unleash an economic disaster of epic proportions.” Again, the Dems and their media (CNN, NY Times, ABC, etc.) had a meltdown. Sadly, we are experiencing

The left-wing news media didn’t just poison the information environment with their incessantly negative coverage of President Trump going into the 2020 election. They also refused to give airtime to important arguments of the Republican campaign — both pro-Trump and anti-Biden — which meant millions of voters cast their ballots knowing only what the media permitted them to know about the candidates. To measure the true effect of the media’s censorship on the election, the Media Research Center asked The Polling Company to survey 1,750 Biden voters in seven swing states (Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin), six of which (all but North Carolina) were called for Biden

After four long days of hearings by the Senate Judiciary Committee, we are left with more questions than answers about what kind of justice Ketanji Brown Jackson would be if confirmed to the Supreme Court — and the answers the Senate received were troubling to the point of being disqualifying. Judge Jackson repeatedly claimed to not have a judicial philosophy. Instead, she suggested that she uses a “methodology” that she has developed throughout her time on the bench: utilizing “the arguments of the parties, the facts in the case, and the law that applies in every case” as “inputs” that aid her decision-making.

But Joe was upbeat: According to CNBC: President Joe Biden said Thursday that he would consider himself “very fortunate” if former President Donald Trump runs against him for a second time in the 2024 election for the White House.
