WASHINGTON – As Capitol Hill grows more politically toxic, a new survey indicates most Americans are tired of the acrimony and think the sharp partisan divide is harming the nation.
Nearly three of every four Americans said it would be good for the country if Americans "reject political hostility and divisiveness and focus more on their common ground," according to the new poll from Public Agenda and USA TODAY released Thursday.
But they're also pessimistic. Fewer than one in 10 surveyed think political rancor between ordinary Americans will decrease in the next 10 years, compared to nearly half who think it will increase.
That's hilarious, given the last article posted about Liz Cheney, the colostomy bag of the GOP.

Talk (to pollsters) is cheap. Practicing tolerance is harder, especially when you never venture outside a bubble of people who agree with you and reinforce your "superior" attitude.

Free people have no common ground with Marxists whose goal is to "transform America " and destroy our God-given freedoms.

It would work if all involved wanted to make America great again (MAGA) but the Marxist on the left want to fundamentally change it so it's hopeless to work with the group of America haters, you just can't.

I would like to reject 'political hostility' with extreme prejudice... Does that make me a bad person? (Asking for a friend).

I have nothing in common with swamp creatures from "either party" or any sycophant who seeks to end my constitutional rights and ultimately enslave me and my children.

The only common ground with the left is for others to accept their beliefs

Once upon a time, democrats and Republicans agreed that the house needed to be painted. The disagreement was over the shade of white. Today however, the Republicans believe that the house should be painted. The democrats however, believe that the house be razed, in its place a section 8 apartment be built with the title going to a victim group for reparations.
How do you have civility when one side wants to fix real issues and the other side creates out of thin air crisis after crisis to blame on the other party?
Anyone wishing for the hostility to be tamper down is not paying attention.....Or, what they really want is for the other side to comply with their side.

Another BS poll.
For the democrats, it's their way or the highway, and they call it common ground.
There is no such thing as common ground. What if you don't agree with Democratic policy? There must be an alternative.
If the only thing is common ground, you don't even have representative government since you will be permitting only one way of doing things. Just like a dictatorship.

You have conservatives, that love this country and want to build it up.
And you have lie-berals that hate this country and want to destroy everything it stands for.
Where exactly is this "common ground"?!?!?!? I don't think there is any left in this republic. Zilch, zero, nada!!!
