Televisions and phone screens lit up Monday night with the face of Rep. Liz Cheney as she slowly read text messages sent on January 6 to former President Donald Trump's chief of staff.
Her methodical recounting of a series of texts to Mark Meadows from lawmakers, reporters, Fox News hosts and even Trump family members underscored what Cheney called Trump's "supreme dereliction of duty" to heed the calls to condemn the ongoing violence at the US Capitol.
But the Wyoming Republican's central performance at the high-profile meeting of the House select committee investigating the January 6 riot also highlights how she has trod a distinct path among Republicans over the last year.

She is a traitorous female dog, never to be trusted. Thank God that she will be gone on January 1, 2023!

Again I ask, was she adopted into the Cheney family?

She is doing the bidding of her father, who does not want to see the old boy structure change.

Our campaign finance laws certainly need some overhauling. Wyoming should be able to choose their representatives without millions of outsider money and influence. Liz is a phoney bitter old cow.

It could be said that the story runs a lot deeper than Liz campaigning against Trump and Jan. 6th. Several stories/research have it that Cheney is part of the Bush family, a few times removed. It even includes Obama. Trump doesn't fit in the "family" and he must be silenced and put down. In addition, it's about the 14th Amendment. All IMHO, of course.

She is dumber than her dad. Those texts totally exonerated Trump and everyone involved.
She has no path among Republicans.

My goodness! One would think Trump is still in office by the way his name is popping up all over the place. Give it a rest, Liz. No one cares.

What's a CNN article doing here? I thought this site only accepted articles from news sources.

Why does she fear the MAGA Movement so much, and what is she trying to hide, and for whom? Is it for her father, herself, or both? Are they deep in collusion with the CCP?
The DOJ and FBI should be disbanded entirely if they have in ANY way been complicit in covering up treasonous activity of politicians, past and present.

Cheney has to know that 2022 will be her last year in Congress. She will not be re-elected. It is hard to believe that she would go to these lengths to win a talking head spot on a liberal news network that no one watches. There is a deep state motive here that is rather chilling but also pretty transparent. She’s not trying to persuade anyone. She’s just trying to do damage.

She can raise all the money in the world, but she isn't going to get the Voters Back Home to vote for her. She abandoned them long time ago and became one of the D.C. Insiders. She runs with the Trump Haters like Kristol. Her days are numbered. And I would love to see her on the Stage with Trump. He will make her look even worse than Hillary looked when he finished with her. She isn't in His League! And guess what Liz, we Republicans are going to send money to your Replacement, so there's that.....

Cheney is a McCainiac - an opportunist who shoots at the king to get notoriety and advance her political career.

Liz Cheney: The real poster child for the Republicans.
Why haven't Republican leadership ousted her? There is ample justification. Is it because of her father and her connection to the Bush family? Who is really calling the shots on the Republican side of the aisle? All they do is follow Democratic leadership and allow Democratic party policy without offering any kind of alternative.
The Republicans have allowed this. Cheney should have been kicked out of every committee position she has in Washington. She should have been kicked out of the Republican party.
