Were You Better Off with Trump?

Original Article

Posted By: Magnante, 3/31/2022 5:10:48 AM

In the final days before what appeared to be a neck-and-neck 1980 election, Republican Ronald Reagan landed a haymaker against President Carter by asking a simple question: "Are you better off today than you were four years ago?" Americans were not, and Reagan ended up beating the incumbent Democrat in a drubbing — carrying forty-four states, taking 489 electoral votes (snip) As we near what looks like his return to battle for the 2024 election, though, a potent six-word slogan reminiscent of Reagan's rhetorical thwack is inescapable: Were you better off with Trump?

I was certainly better off before the election was stolen! Now I will likely have to sell my forever house and move to a red state. However, I would likely be better off with anyone other than the barely walking cadaver squatting in the White House!

In most respects I am treading water. In terms of freedom, buying power, and safety I am far less better off. I am currently restocking the food stash, as well as ammunition and tools, repair parts and fuel where possible. Most of that I started during the Obama years so I have a head start.

The last 22 years, in particular the last 14 years have forced this old man to think harder about my faith , family and our nation . The death of Rush and the loss of President Trumps leadership all at once was a bone crusher. But the last 14 MONTHS have steeled my resolve . The night mare will end. This is America and we will win.

The sad thing is, I agree with every conclusion about the election being stolen, Trump's record of success, and the obvious answer of whether we were better off with Trump; YET, I have doubts as to whether Trump can win. As Shurk says, ALL the winds were blowing in Trump's favor. Biden and Harris, at election time, were two of the biggest losers to run for office and have only gotten worse, dragging the Country down the drain with them in just a bit more than a year. However, all the forces that successfully broke the 2020 election are still in place. They have largely gotten away with their actions. Only now, 6 years later, are Hillary Clintoon and the DNC being held responsible for the 2016 Russian hoax that undermined Trump and forced him to fight two attempts at impeachment. Have we considered that the reason that Trump was so aggressive, something many disliked, is because he was forced to fight against the lying and corrupt forces propping up the Clintoons. The Clintoons have gotten away with NUMEROUS illegal activities that should have had BOTH of them in jail for the rest of their life. News flash: They are still free to walk around because the same forces that stole the 2020 election have protected them and are still doing so. If anything, they have become bolder with their success, and more devious. Worse, those forces have become more desperate because. in their boldness, they have not covered their trail as well and are being exposed. We have an idea WHO the actors were in the 2020 election. They are scared. WHAT would Trump and a transcendent Republican party do to fix the CIA and FBI? Would players like Pencil-necked Shifty and his ilk be censured and kicked out of chairmanship roles or bounced off committees that were used to foist impeachments on the Country? What laws would be passed to restrict the social media companies? What house cleaning activities would be carried out against the Deep State bureaucrats? Media is sheltered by the first amendment but they have already exposed themselves and are weaker. "Fake news" has been found to be an accurate label for most of the news organizations. The money groups that stand behind media are starting to reel them in, a la CNN. What voting protections might be established in the various states? What will these desperate people do? Almost anything. Might they be successful again? Can the American People be conned again? Of course, Trump would roll back and overturn the Leftist actions Biden and dems took. But dems don't really care about that, they are only paths to power and control. But the Country will care, YUGELY!

Trump WILL win in 2024 - just as he did in '16 and '20. In 2020 he lost to the combination of the Democrats and the Judiciary. (yes, I am aware of the role of the Media). The question in 2024 will be whether we can prevent the corrupt judges (and Justices) from (mis)using our own laws, our own Constitution against us. We are forewarned but are we forearmed?

Retirees on fixed incomes are taking a beating as the value of a dollar and its value gets eaten away by inflation and printing of money since nobody will loan us money to pay for profligate spending. Our parents and grandparents who lived during the Great Depression and World War II are all but gone now, and the current demographics of the Country are being drastically changed for the WORSE with this invasion of ILLEGAL ALIENS. Millions of persons are against this by you would never know because the media and corporations are all about CREATING and spinning what THEY want to talk about in order to break our nation using the Cloward-Piven strategy of overloading the system until it collapses. Corporations like Black Rock are attempting to create business practices using ESG scores to ruin those who stand against this, and with the electoral coup de tat of massive cheating and the judiciary REFUSING to hear evidence to stop cases from EVEN BEING HEARD, we are in a very precarious situation. Many of those in the last election voted for TRUMP but then again, many voted AGAINST him rather than think about the consequences of electing a phantom candidate who had to be hidden away due to the HYSTERIA created by a manufactured covid-1984 crisis The Republican Party at the national level only seems interested in the Almighty American dollar and they are compromised, weak, and attempt to remove or discredit those who stand against their empire. The Primary system of voting favors the RINOs and those who attempt to unseat most of them want to take their place on the gravy train trying to convince the public that elected officials are not "true conservatives" creating their own false media and marketing stories.... The "racism" and wokeness being promoted to stop any reasoned discussion of issues is about to upend the Supreme Court and even TRUMP's most recent nominees do not appear to be anchored to the Constitution. This country has been careening off a cliff ever since NoBama was elected against McPain and re-elected via racism charges of Trayvon Martin and a weak, milquetoast Mittens Romney and his sidekick Paul Ryano. The Elites in both parties are compromised and corrupt as they come-- take a look at Peter Schwietzer's "Secret Empires" and "Red Handed"and you will see for yourself just how screwed we are. Add in the public but media "invisible Hunter Macbook" and you will see how great the incestuous the relationship of the media to the demonrat socialist marxist young pups of their side is to keep that cadaver in at all costs.

I have only one quibble with the article - I do not believe that 0bama won the 2012 election, even though Romney/Ryan were duds in retrospect. The economy was a mess in 2012 and most people vote their wallets. He should not have won. Obama stole that election, just like he stole the 2020 election for TaliBiden.

Yes, we are on a fixed incomes with my small retirement our money doesn't go as far with the rise in gasoline, food and utilities prices. Fraud Biden hates America or somebody pulling his strings does maybe Obama. I was a young married working family man in the Carter era this is worse with much more dangerous times with rampant crime. We know in a short time with Trump as President many of our woes could be fixed in two months or less if he were at the helm of the country even a democrat can't deny that. FJB

I remember that drubbing very well. I also remember how the media had to have known, but they lied through their capped teeth that it was going to be a nail biting, neck and neck election night. What they didn't expect was that Carter would take a 49 state spanking, but he also conceded at 6pm on the West coast. That cost Cali voters the chance to vote against or for that Prop 13 tax measure. Howard Jarvis was ecstatic that it passed, all thanks to Carter conceding two hours before the polls closed. I know that people don't think about this, but I suspect that given all the Obama minions in the WH right now, this Residency has been nothing more than Obama's third term. Hence the name JoeBama. With Biden's dementia, I seriously doubt he is behind much of this stuff, he just signs or says what his handlers tell him to do.

Much better off under Trump. With regards to stealing 2022 and then 2024: Fore warned is fore armed! Let's see if the Republicans wake up enough to stop the steal as they are not the last bit concerned about 2020. If the Demo-rats can steal 2022 and retain their majorities in the House and senate then we are doomed and it makes no difference who on our side runs in 2024.

Barack Obama was at the White House yesterday, making it clear, as did others at the reception held in Obama’s honor, that Biden’s presidency is over. Watching Obama suck the oxygen out of the room made me wonder if Obama is planning a comeback, something he can easily do. The chumming process began when Obama referred to Biden as the “Vice President,” adding, after a long pause, “that was a joke.”

Back in 1967, the Reedy Creek Improvement District agreement was created to lure Disney to Florida. The agreement allows the district governmental powers to facilitate recreational projects and tourism. Florida's legislature felt that it would benefit the state if recreational organizations had the power to act as their own government in areas like property development, water control, public utilities, law enforcement, and fire protection. The mouse eagerly took the cheese, and today most of the land is owned by Walt Disney World. It's been a pretty sweet deal (snip) Now Florida legislators are threatening to pull those special privileges if Disney continues to strike at HB1557

Few brands are more valuable than that owned by the shareholders of The Walt Disney Company, one that now is being shattered.. In 2020, Forbes rated it as number seven in the world in value. But I think this may actually understate the standing of the Disney brand. Few people would want to take a vacation at a Google resort or take a Microsoft cruise, but the allure of Disney’s brand is enough to attract vacationers from all over the world. Disney theme parks exist in the United States (2), France, China (2), and Japan, and these attract visitors from many other countries, many bringing their children along

Barack Obama was at the White House yesterday, making it clear, as did others at the reception held in Obama’s honor, that Biden’s presidency is over. Watching Obama suck the oxygen out of the room made me wonder if Obama is planning a comeback, something he can easily do. (snip) The reception in Obama’s honor, though, hinted that the event’s real purpose was to signal to Democrat apparatchiks that Biden is now shark chum. The chumming process began when Obama referred to Biden as the “Vice President,” adding, after a long pause, “that was a joke.”

A church in suburban Chicago said it is “fasting from whiteness” during Lent, the 40-day period preceding Easter—by abstaining from performing hymns composed or written by white musicians. First United Church of Oak Park announced on its website that it “is doing a mix of ‘giving something up’ and ‘taking something on.’ “In our worship services throughout Lent, we will not be using any music or liturgy written or composed by white people. Our music will be drawn from the African American spirituals tradition, from South African freedom songs, from Native American traditions, and many, many more,” it said.(Snip)The house of worship also erected a “Fasting from

Texas Governor Greg Abbott will begin to use charter buses to ship illegal immigrants to Washington, D.C., as part of his strategy for the overwhelming influx of illegal immigrants. Governor Abbott held a press conference today concerning Texas’ border security efforts in response to the Biden admin’s decision to drop Title 42 at the border on May 23. Joe Biden announced that he plans to drop a Trump-era order blocking asylum seekers at the U.S. border on May 23. Title 42 was used by President Trump in 2020 to expel migrants seeking asylum during the Covid pandemic.

Bera said the attack occurred in the park area just north of the Capitol by Russell Senate Office Building, "I was just walking, as I often would, over by that park," the congressman explained to Insider and a group of other reporters. "I felt something lunge — totally unprovoked — at the back of my leg." Bera added that it "felt like a small dog" had attacked. "I don't know if it actually

Roy P. Disney, the grand-nephew of Disneyland founder Walt Disney, jumped Tuesday into the feud between Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Disney empire with a fundraising plea in which he disclosed that he has a transgender child. Mr. Disney, whose grandfather Roy O. Disney founded the company with his brother Walt, said in a fundraising pitch for the Human Rights Campaign that he was “heartbroken” over the Florida bill barring schools from discussing gender identity and sexual orientation with students in grades K-3. “My wife, Sheri, and I have been members of HRC for over 20 years,” said Mr. Disney in the email. “Equality matters deeply to us,

Barack Obama made a return to the White House last night to revive the dying Democrat brand ahead of midterm elections. It can’t be overlooked that saving Democrats might have to include aborting Brandon, because if anything was accomplished in his first official visit since welcoming Trump at the North Portico, Obama utterly shamed the sitting president.

In the week prior to the presidential election, I wrote a piece that asked the question, “Where Is Hunter Biden’s Money?” It was an important question then, even more so now. Given the legacy media’s recent validation of Hunter’s laptop that discussed a slice of equity planned for the “Big Guy” in a deal that involved an entity controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), we should know if any money from it (or other foreign sources) ended up in Joe Biden’s pocket, but we don’t.Recall that despite then-presidential candidate Biden having bragged that he had released his tax returns with what his team called “a historic level of transparency,”

A renewable energy company was given five-year probation and ordered to pay more than $8 million in fines after the deaths of 150 bald and golden eagles on their wind turbines. NextEra Energy subsidiary ESI Energy pleaded guilty to violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, per a press release from the Department of Justice. The Act prevents anyone from killing or taking parts from protected birds without permission from the federal government. Golden and bald eagles are further protected by federal law. The company pleaded guilty to three specific deaths, which prompted the fines, per the DOJ. As part of

MSNBC host Joy Reid outdid herself in the “vicious” category on Twitter, comparing Republican voters to al-Qaeda, the terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11, and then going on to call the GOP the party of “pro-rape” while slamming white Christians.“Republicans vote like al-Qaeda fights: with a patient, long-term goal of seizing power and forcing the libertine culture to heel under the boot; no matter how many elections it takes,” she monstrously tweeted Tuesday.“That’s why those anti-voting laws work. They’re designed to frustrate voters out of even trying to participate.
