“I was shocked by that,” Bill Barr told Fox News’ John Roberts. Really? No one who’s watched Joe Biden for any length of time could be surprised by Biden lying, especially in self-promotion. Even before becoming president, Biden has made a lifelong hobby of collecting Pinocchios.Nevertheless, Barr declares Biden’s lie about Hunter Biden’s laptop being nothing but “Russian disinformation” a particularly noxious example, and he’s right … at least about the media’s complicity in it:(Snip for video) “I was very disturbed during the debate when candidate Biden lied to the American people about the laptop.” “He’s squarely confronted with the laptop, and he suggested that it was Russian

Book sales not going well with the viewers of the conservative media? He must be getting a blistering. I'm not plowing through a 600 page tomb to find his pathetic mea culpa. I hear the vast majority of the book is about the author.

Why didn't you say something at the time? Why would you allow Biden to lie and get away with it and then become President. You are an accessory to the murder of our Republic.

Barr really should shut up. The more he talks the more he proves himself to be corrupt, stupid, a liar, a fool or naive, or all of the above. He should follow the old saying: it is better to keep one's mouth closed and be thought a fool than open one's mouth and remove all doubt. Apparently he doesn't have that ability.

Maxine Waters Tells Homeless People to

You have to hand it to Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA). She somehow seems to know exactly the wrong thing to say at any given point. She has a long history of controversial comments, perhaps most infamously when she encouraged people to get up in the face of Trump officials and “push back.”But she stepped in it, big time, recently in an encounter with homeless people in Los Angeles. Then she made it even worse with an attempt to cover up her response. The nonprofit advocacy group Fathers and Mothers Who Care was holding an event in South Los Angeles which was meant to help homeless people get emergency shelter.

The Consumer Price Index rose by nearly 8 percent last month, the fastest rise in annual inflation in four decades. Prices are up across the board, with prices of fuel and food spiking particularly high, supply chains are falling apart, and store shelves are emptying. To say that America's current economic prospects are bleak is an understatement. But this current state of economic hardship is hitting people of color even harder.Inflation is an invisible tax on poor people, and the percentage of Black Americans in poverty is practically double their percentage of the total population. According to the U.S. Census, in 2019 Black Americans represented 23.8 percent

It’s been another bad week for the president, as White House staffers, and Biden himself on Monday, tried to clean up a string of troubling gaffes made during his crucial trip to meet with NATO leaders as the Ukraine war continued to rage. With Russian President Vladimir Putin hinting that a nuclear response was possible if NATO directly intervenes in Ukraine or threatens Russia itself, Biden’s misstatements couldn’t have come at a worse moment. Yet, when asked about his ad-lib remarks to American servicemen in Poland, his response to the possible use of chemical weapons by Russia, and now, famously, his barely nuanced call

President Joe Biden was babbling dangerously during his recent trip to Poland to shore up the NATO alliance against Russia’s murderous invasion of Ukraine. And as he babbled and babbled, his White House staff poured sawdust on the puddles and tried cleaning it up again and again. The man just would not stop. Biden’s wide-open mouth was a firehose of senile anger, shooting out a torrent of unfocused danger. His words won’t shorten the conflict, but will likely prolong the suffering of the Ukrainian people. His babbling strengthens Vladimir Putin in Russia, while dragging America and the rest of the world ever closer to nuclear confrontation.

Democrat extremism and the ongoing implosion of America’s government-run school system have given Republicans a seven-point advantage on who can better handle the issue of education. Sometimes, things are so bad that you have to latch onto anything to even try to produce a positive thought. That’s apparently where White House Chief of Staff Ronald Klain is.Klain, an avid user of social media and noted fan of Jennifer Rubin, has long been known for retweeting the most ridiculous media takes imaginable. And while he can usually find some form of lavish praise to push, that’s been in short supply lately. That led to this really awkward moment on Monday morning where Klain shared a tweet from the day before proclaiming Biden’s “significant lapse in discipline.”

Since Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson was chosen by President Biden to replace Justice Stephen Breyer on the Supreme Court, we’ve been encouraged by the White House, congressional Democrats, and the corporate media to celebrate her as the “first Black woman” nominated to serve on the Court. Yet, when asked during her confirmation hearing to define the term “woman,” she responded, “I can’t … I’m not a biologist.” The problem with this answer isn’t just that it was unworthy of a serious SCOTUS nominee. It is symptomatic of a debilitating disease that has infected our political discourse, rendering substantive policy debate all but impossible and endangering the republic.

Democrats' Kamala Harris problem 7 replies

The Democratic Party has a unique problem when it considers the 2024 presidential election. Joe Biden, the oldest president in U.S. history, will be 82 at the end of his first term. There is widespread speculation he will not run for reelection, although he insists he will. The suspicion among many in the political world that Biden will not run again threatens to turn him into a first-term lame duck. Or perhaps it already has. The situation has naturally resulted in attention being paid to Vice President Kamala Harris, who would be Biden's obvious successor should he not run. To say Harris has not shone in the job

Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats incessantly remind us that the historic milestone marked by Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination is that she would become the Supreme Court’s first Black woman. Yet, how historically significant can it be if she can’t say what a woman is? For all her appeal – and in 12 grueling hours of testimony on Tuesday, Judge Jackson’s intellect and charm were on full display – the nominee is dodgy. Though a highly accomplished – indeed, a historic – woman, she testified that she can’t "provide a definition" of what a woman is.

When my mother called me in from play one afternoon to meet the man seated in our living room, her introduction was redundant—I immediately knew who he was. And, right off, I did not like him. His absence had been a painful matter in my life. The house that we lived in explained some of it. It was unfit for human tenancy—a decaying hovel with a leaking roof, creaking structures, and a termite infestation. I was ashamed to let anyone other than my closest friends know where I lived. I was 12 that year of 1956. This was the Jim Crow South where poverty was the default condition

In the final days before what appeared to be a neck-and-neck 1980 election, Republican Ronald Reagan landed a haymaker against President Carter by asking a simple question: "Are you better off today than you were four years ago?" Americans were not, and Reagan ended up beating the incumbent Democrat in a drubbing — carrying forty-four states, taking 489 electoral votes (snip) As we near what looks like his return to battle for the 2024 election, though, a potent six-word slogan reminiscent of Reagan's rhetorical thwack is inescapable: Were you better off with Trump?
