I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is that Biden won’t be spending his umpteenth weekend vacationing at his beach house in Delaware over the next few days. The bad news is that he’s spending that time in Europe attempting to defuse a possible world war. The good news is that Jha, unlike Zients, is an actual physician. The bad news is that, since the advent of COVID-19, his public statements concerning the pandemic have been tainted by partisan politics and malicious ad hominem attacks on any heretic who dares to question establishment coronavirus orthodoxy. Dr. Jha once appeared on The View, for example, to accuse Stanford University’s Dr. Scott W. Atlas of spreading unspecified “misinformation” during the latter’s brief tenure as advisor to then-President Trump.
Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett could only wish to have experienced a fraction of the media praise being heaped on Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson.
If anything, it should be the other way around. President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court appointees showed immense legal ability and fidelity to the rule of law before joining the Court.
