The Consumer Price Index rose by nearly 8 percent last month, the fastest rise in annual inflation in four decades. Prices are up across the board, with prices of fuel and food spiking particularly high, supply chains are falling apart, and store shelves are emptying. To say that America's current economic prospects are bleak is an understatement. But this current state of economic hardship is hitting people of color even harder.Inflation is an invisible tax on poor people, and the percentage of Black Americans in poverty is practically double their percentage of the total population. I have been disappointed that minorities and other historic Dem voters aren't already awake enough to realize that the Democrats don't truly care about their supporters. Dimocrats have made so many promises to every disparate group that keeping those promises is impossible. And making more promises is just lying. I look forward to the day when voters don't choose a candidate because of the color of their own skin.

The dims’ use of blacks and hispanics as cannon fodder in their quest to fulfill the demands of their donors is becoming obvious to the dims’ victims. The dims enrich a couple of black people to sell other blacks on, eg, defund the police, to make the majority of blacks believe their voices “are being heard”, while that majority is made less well off while distracted by the riots- like staging a riot to rob a bank. The dims only protect the superwealthy.

The blacks voted for Obama and then they voted for his third term when they voted for Biden. I find it hard to worry about them.

For those of us on Social Security (i.e. our own money), should this trend continue, 8% increase in CPI, we could see a hefty increase for next year, so long as Medicare doesn't take it all.

Biden: Crisis of credibility 6 replies

It’s been another bad week for the president, as White House staffers, and Biden himself on Monday, tried to clean up a string of troubling gaffes made during his crucial trip to meet with NATO leaders as the Ukraine war continued to rage. With Russian President Vladimir Putin hinting that a nuclear response was possible if NATO directly intervenes in Ukraine or threatens Russia itself, Biden’s misstatements couldn’t have come at a worse moment. Yet, when asked about his ad-lib remarks to American servicemen in Poland, his response to the possible use of chemical weapons by Russia, and now, famously, his barely nuanced call

President Joe Biden was babbling dangerously during his recent trip to Poland to shore up the NATO alliance against Russia’s murderous invasion of Ukraine. And as he babbled and babbled, his White House staff poured sawdust on the puddles and tried cleaning it up again and again. The man just would not stop. Biden’s wide-open mouth was a firehose of senile anger, shooting out a torrent of unfocused danger. His words won’t shorten the conflict, but will likely prolong the suffering of the Ukrainian people. His babbling strengthens Vladimir Putin in Russia, while dragging America and the rest of the world ever closer to nuclear confrontation.

Democrat extremism and the ongoing implosion of America’s government-run school system have given Republicans a seven-point advantage on who can better handle the issue of education. Rasmussen asked 1,000 likely voters, “Who do you trust more to deal with education issues. Democrats or Republicans?” Only 36 percent said Democrats, while 43 percent said Republicans.

Sometimes, things are so bad that you have to latch onto anything to even try to produce a positive thought. That’s apparently where White House Chief of Staff Ronald Klain is.Klain, an avid user of social media and noted fan of Jennifer Rubin, has long been known for retweeting the most ridiculous media takes imaginable. And while he can usually find some form of lavish praise to push, that’s been in short supply lately. That led to this really awkward moment on Monday morning where Klain shared a tweet from the day before proclaiming Biden’s “significant lapse in discipline.”

Since Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson was chosen by President Biden to replace Justice Stephen Breyer on the Supreme Court, we’ve been encouraged by the White House, congressional Democrats, and the corporate media to celebrate her as the “first Black woman” nominated to serve on the Court. Yet, when asked during her confirmation hearing to define the term “woman,” she responded, “I can’t … I’m not a biologist.” The problem with this answer isn’t just that it was unworthy of a serious SCOTUS nominee. It is symptomatic of a debilitating disease that has infected our political discourse, rendering substantive policy debate all but impossible and endangering the republic.

I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is that Biden won’t be spending his umpteenth weekend vacationing at his beach house in Delaware over the next few days. The bad news is that he’s spending that time in Europe attempting to defuse a possible world war. So yeah, that’s not preferable for the rest of us given his track record.A promotional video of the president’s arrival at NATO in Brussels has been released, and there are several noteworthy things about it. Here’s what that looked like.(Snip for video)Can we start with the fact that he’s grinning like a Cheshire cat? Does he know where he’s at?
Democrats' Kamala Harris problem 7 replies

The Democratic Party has a unique problem when it considers the 2024 presidential election. Joe Biden, the oldest president in U.S. history, will be 82 at the end of his first term. There is widespread speculation he will not run for reelection, although he insists he will. The suspicion among many in the political world that Biden will not run again threatens to turn him into a first-term lame duck. Or perhaps it already has. The situation has naturally resulted in attention being paid to Vice President Kamala Harris, who would be Biden's obvious successor should he not run. To say Harris has not shone in the job

Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats incessantly remind us that the historic milestone marked by Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination is that she would become the Supreme Court’s first Black woman. Yet, how historically significant can it be if she can’t say what a woman is? For all her appeal – and in 12 grueling hours of testimony on Tuesday, Judge Jackson’s intellect and charm were on full display – the nominee is dodgy. Though a highly accomplished – indeed, a historic – woman, she testified that she can’t "provide a definition" of what a woman is.

When my mother called me in from play one afternoon to meet the man seated in our living room, her introduction was redundant—I immediately knew who he was. And, right off, I did not like him. His absence had been a painful matter in my life. The house that we lived in explained some of it. It was unfit for human tenancy—a decaying hovel with a leaking roof, creaking structures, and a termite infestation. I was ashamed to let anyone other than my closest friends know where I lived. I was 12 that year of 1956. This was the Jim Crow South where poverty was the default condition

The White House has announced that Dr. Ashish K. Jha will soon replace Jeffrey Zients as the Biden administration’s coronavirus response coordinator. The good news is that Jha, unlike Zients, is an actual physician. The bad news is that, since the advent of COVID-19, his public statements concerning the pandemic have been tainted by partisan politics and malicious ad hominem attacks on any heretic who dares to question establishment coronavirus orthodoxy. Dr. Jha once appeared on The View, for example, to accuse Stanford University’s Dr. Scott W. Atlas of spreading unspecified “misinformation” during the latter’s brief tenure as advisor to then-President Trump.

In the final days before what appeared to be a neck-and-neck 1980 election, Republican Ronald Reagan landed a haymaker against President Carter by asking a simple question: "Are you better off today than you were four years ago?" Americans were not, and Reagan ended up beating the incumbent Democrat in a drubbing — carrying forty-four states, taking 489 electoral votes (snip) As we near what looks like his return to battle for the 2024 election, though, a potent six-word slogan reminiscent of Reagan's rhetorical thwack is inescapable: Were you better off with Trump?

Two years ago, far-left California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, established a task force with the assigned mission of examining slavery reparations. From the beginning, it was clear that the outcome from the task force wasn’t going to be if it would recommend reparations, that was a foregone conclusion. The only question was to whom such reparations should be given. On Tuesday, that task force finally made their recommendation, and they may also have given a hint that whatever steps were to be taken would only be the beginning. After a lengthy debate and prior to holding the actual vote, the vice-chair of the task force,

Few brands are more valuable than that owned by the shareholders of The Walt Disney Company, one that now is being shattered.. In 2020, Forbes rated it as number seven in the world in value. Disney theme parks exist in the United States (2), France, China (2), and Japan, and these attract visitors from many other countries, many bringing their children along
