Lawyer up, Republicans

President Donald John Trump fixed the courts. The Supreme Court is now 6-3 conservative. This means we no longer have to rely on the chief justice's weathervane to protect the Constitution. The lower courts are better, and another round of appellate court appointments with a Republican Senate and Republican president should remove most of the remaining stain of the judiciary that Obama made. Now to make good use of the Trumpian Court. Republicans need to vet, recruit, and prepare for battle about 1,000 lawyers for service beginning January 20, 2025. I am not saying we should take winning in 2024 for granted. Far from it. Republicans will need to battle for every ballot

You may have to look past elite law schools. Federalist society helps but in some places it is a resume enhancer and not a badge. Do nut trust government lawyers. Offer some CLE seminars specific to election fraud.

The political prisoners do need to sue. They need to sue the people who put them there not the citizens of the U.S. Go after all their pensions, bank accounts, stocks and bonds, homes, yachts, summer homes, and luxury cars.

Judging by the reaction from peers in media, you might think Maria Bartiromo said something incorrect on Sunday when she noted, “Some people have told me over the weekend that they feel that at the end of the day this administration does not see Putin as the enemy, they see him as a partner on many issues.” It’s hardly a stretch to imagine someone mentioning that to Bartiromo because it’s true. Viewers who watched the full clip would have heard Bartiromo specifically cite climate change and the Iran nuclear deal as the issues in question when she made the statement on Fox News’s ”Sunday Morning Futures.”

Pentagon Spokesperson John Kirby stated in this interview that “no U.S. service members were killed in the attack” that took place near the Ukraine-Poland border in the town of Lviv. However, it is important to qualify that government “contractors” are often used in these Military training centers. The military compound in Lviv, which is only 15 miles from the border with Poland, was being used as a military “training facility” for Ukrainian forces. Knowing the U.S. and NATO were funneling weapons into Ukraine through this specific region, it stands to reason this “training facility” was targeted by Russia specifically because it was a weapons cache for arms flowing

Bombing a maternity hospital, shelling residential buildings, firing on fleeing refugees, and destroying any infrastructure that supports the lives of innocent civilians … are all war crimes under international law. Whoever is involved in the chain of command that gave the orders – all the way up to the head of state – can and should be charged. This means Russian President Vladimir Putin must be indicted for war crimes. (snip)Historically, the gathering of incriminating evidence has been both difficult and time-consuming. A Michigan county elections official and former township clerk was charged with ballot tampering related to the August 2020 primary election, according to state Attorney General Dana Nessel. Kathy Funk, who was running in 2020 as a Democrat for reelection as Flint Township clerk, also was charged with misconduct in office, Nessel said. The charges, which are both felonies, each carry a maximum sentence of five years in prison upon conviction. Nessel alleged that Funk purposely broke a seal on a container for ballots so that the votes couldn’t be totaled during an anticipated recount. She narrowly won reelection in the unofficial count, the attorney general’s office said.

The regimen of two initial doses plus a booster is not able to protect against variants and wanes too quickly in strength, Bourla conceded—making additional shots inevitable. “Right now, the protection that you’re getting from the third [shot], it is good enough—actually quite good for hospitalizations and deaths—it’s not that good
