Wait. The media has been telling us that only 7% of our oil comes from Russia. Surely we can replace 7% of our oil supply. Or could it be that they're lying about that? Could it be that the number is three times higher at 21% as reported by Forbes?

What a bunch of horse purge they are spewing now. Trying to set it up so they can claim we don't have enough to replace whatever they stop importing is just more lies from the Left. There is enough product in Alaska alone that could supply the world and totally outpace OPEC, and we have the technology to not even leave much of a footprint either when we take the product. The Left is bound and determined to destroy this nation, and there isn't enough bandwidth to list all the ways they and their misguided ideas about oil is going to be a major job killer. Thousands of products are made with the byproducts of the oil industry, things like makeup, some of the sporty coats that the trendy youth like to wear and so on. Thousands of things are going to disappear off the shelves, not just food items.

Cut out all fuel usage by all federal agencies, cut out all fuel usage by 'green' representatives and cut out non- essential military usage, like trips to Kalifornia on the weekends and kackle tours to foreign countries. That could make up our 7% easily!

Remember when we had expensive gas under Obama ? He said it would be 10 years to get any benefit from drilling. The ten year later, with no run up, we had $2.25 gas. (Also remember "You can't drill your way to $2. gas?" $2.25 was close enough for me.) 18 months ago we had enough energy to export. What changed?

WASHINGTON — Some social media users suggest that soaring fuel prices in the U.S. aren’t the result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, increased consumption or supply chain issues as daily life resumes after two years of stagnation brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. Instead, the flurry of Facebook and Twitter posts offer, without evidence, that a nefarious scheme is underway: President Joe Biden’s administration is intentionally driving up the price of gas to get more American drivers behind the wheel of an electric car. “$6.00 a gallon gas is how you get people to buy electric cars,” claims one popular

President Biden’s announcement that the United States will ban imports of Russian oil caused the price of crude to surge on Tuesday morning. An analysis released Tuesday by the nonpartisan think tank Energy Innovation finds that the climate change provisions of Biden’s now-defunct proposal, such as tax credits for buying new electric vehicles, would have reduced U.S. oil consumption by 2025 by half of the roughly 200,000 barrels of crude oil from Russia
