Kamala Proves the Peter Principle

Original Article

Most of my life, I assumed that we elected serious politicians and appointed competent people to deal with the country’s complex problems -- the Cold War, the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement, the economy, immigration, terrorism, foreign policy, natural disasters, etc. -- major problems that required competent people, serious about addressing (and fixing) the issues. That was then, this is now. (snip) The Peter Principle says that people rise to the level of their incompetence. (snip) It’s difficult to believe that Biden could find someone less competent than himself, but he did. Among the vast numbers of very unintelligent politicians, VP Kamala is perhaps the least competent

I beg to differ. She reached the Peter Principle when she decided it was better to lie down with Jerry Brown to get ahead rather by her own accomplishments, which were nil.

Liberals always value style over substance. That being said, next year, when Congress is taken over by the conservatives, Joe will likely get frustrated and have an epic meltdown. I doubt if he is going to last three years. Kammie may be our next President.

The Peter Principle applies to almost the entirety of the present day democrat party. It’s one of the reasons for not keeping score in kids' soccer games, and handing out participation trophies. Competence and meritocracy be dammed. Now as far as kamalasutra is concerned. I’m surprised she passed the bar exam. Someone had to give her the answers. I just don’t believe, as devious as lawyers can be, that they’re all as stupid as she demonstrates every time she opens her mouth to speak. We all know how she got to where she where she was in California democrat politics. But how in the world did she ever pass the bar exam?

Yeah but she realized you could see the craters of the moon with your very own eyes and maybe ride on one of her favorite items, the electric school bus. She’s sorta like AOC discovering a garbage disposal or learning that plants grow in dirt. standing next to her has got to be like standing on the edge of a mental black hole that will suck the brain cells out of your cranium.

Her rise is about an entirely different kind of Peter principle. More like the Willie Peter principle. The Peter principle as we know it the advancement of those who succeeds at one level up to the next until they advance beyond their abilities. The underlying presumption is that there was genuine success at those lower levels. Show me where Kamala fits that scenario? She was moved up for reasons other than demonstrated competence at any given level in governance. She used an entirely different skill set than those required for her official positions, however; they were most useful in the horizontal position.

#5, passing the bar exam is a feat of memory, not intelligence. I know plenty of dummies who are lawyers and quite successful at it. The big mystery is how they can charge such a high price per hour and get away with it but then auto mechanics can do the same thing. The test must be easier in California than in most states but if not for her parents' money she would be answering somebody's phones and messing that up as well. Even the democrats cringe at the thought of a President Harris.

It would be fun to watch a debate between Kamala and Hillary, if Hillary was truly debating and not just doing what was politically expedient. We may get a chance to see this during the Democrat presidential primary. If both are candidates, Hillary's true colors and political expedience may align.

#13, thank you for your post. You are spot on correct. Allow me to add a variable. When affirmative action blossomed, circa 1970, I had a conversation with a fellow doctoral student who was black, about affirmative action. I expressed concern that there would be blacks who, boosted up above their level of competence, would be in a job they couldn't handle. He smiled and shrugged, and said, 'how about that!' He went on to become a University president - and did a fine job.

Seems to me that Biden and Harris are both Manchurian Candidates! The destruction of our once-great country by this administration - Obama & Hillary included - couldn't be accomplished better if a foreign power overtly took over. This might be a "bloodless coup", but blood will eventually be shed. I am afraid that "re-education camps" are in our offing. May the LORD be merciful! BUT, the LORD sees much clearer than we do. This nation is deserving of His judgment for our sins of godlessness and unrighteousness. He knows lip-service when He hears it. 62,000,000 abortions (recorded) since 1973 for example!

John Fetterman obviously hoped that by lowering expectations for last night’s debate with Dr. Oz and by having a closed captioning system with 2 70-inch monitors, he could convince Pennsylvania voters that he was healthy enough to discharge the duties of US Senator. Kanye’s Anti-Semitism Remarks Warrant Debate 8 replies

One of the reasons I rarely post on Twitter is that it’s very easy for typos to become memes. Remember Trump’s Covfefe tweet? What did it mean or was it a just a slip of the mouse? Thus, we don’t really know whether Kanye West really meant death con3 to Jews or did he mean defcon3 which is a military term for increase in force readiness above that required for normal readiness. These misreads especially occur when someone is speaking rather than typing into a computer. In my old age, I need subtitles for everything I watch and the subsequent incorrect translation of speech can be quite amusing.
