DHS deploys 500 workers in case of Super
Bowl vaccine protest convoy

The Department of Homeland Security has sent 500 extra employees to southern California ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl to help local cops prevent possible game-day disruptions by truckers similar to ones in Canada protesting COVID-19 vaccine mandates. White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters Friday that DHS was working with the California Highway Patrol, the Los Angeles Police Department, and state and local authorities to help counter any protests. She said the 500 DHS workers were already “providing extensive air and maritime security resources.” “The Department of Homeland Security is surging additional staff to its incident command post,” she said.

Comments:

Fedgov refused to take action against ongoing violent and destructive BLM riots, which supported our Marxist Great Leap Forward and destroyed monuments and retail stores alike. The possibility of a real peaceful protest by citizens against totalitarianism, however, is met with a huge proactive Homeland Security deployment. Kinda makes a person think!

Whenever I hear the term Homeland, the first thing that comes to mind is Russia or China. Kind of goes hand in hand with motherland. They started pushing us toward authoritarian policies when TSA was allowed to grope women and grandmas in wheelchairs with no retaliation. We did it to keep others “safe”. Just like wearing masks and lockdowns etc. We have come along way since 1776 but the direction we’re heading is down.

The followers of the democrats have been successfully brainwashed via the education system and msm. The republican leadership is not a viable alternative any more and needs to be replaced. The best way to protest all the mandates, for starters, is to not watch or go to the SB. Of course that would mean Americans losing out on some fun and gawd knows we can't do that. Americans have become soft and spoiled. The bravest we get is to cheer on the Canadians. Good grief, the Canadians are braver than we are. The entire world is protesting mandates while America is getting ready for a football game. Embarrassing.

The NFL’s dismal number of black head coaches shows a lack of “generic decency” from a league that hasn’t kept its promises, President Biden said in an interview airing Super Bowl Sunday. “They haven’t lived up to what they committed to and lived up to being open about hiring more minorities to run teams,” Biden told NBC News, referencing the football league’s purported commitments to diversifying leadership. “The whole idea that a league that is made up of so many athletes of color as well as so diverse, that there’s not enough African American qualified coaches to manage these NFL teams, it just seems to me that it’s a standard

Many Minnesota ambulance services are struggling to respond to emergency calls as workers leave the field in pursuit of better pay and working conditions. The exodus comes as demand for emergency medical services is increasing statewide, not only from heart attacks, strokes and car accidents but also patient transfers from hospital to hospital because of crowded conditions caused by COVID-19. "I've never seen so many workers leave the EMS field," said Buck McAlpin a lobbyist for the Minnesota Ambulance Association. "It is alarming." Nearly 60% of the state's 10,465 certified emergency medical technicians did not provide patient care in 2021, suggesting they left the workforce altogether, according to state data.
