Former Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) said Thursday on CNN’s “The Situation Room” that the House Select Committee investigating the riot on January 6, 2021 at the U.S. Capitol was important because it is getting to the bottom of “one of the darkest moments in our history.”Guest-host Jim Acosta said, “As you know, the top-secret designation means if those documents were released, it could cause grave damage to national security, so what’s your reaction to this report? Can you imagine removing top-secret documents from the White House?” Kasich said, “When you talk about top-secret information, there were times I had to deal with it being on the Armed Services Committee.

It is a dark day but not for the reason that fool Kasich believes! It was the first time America fraudulently and knowingly elected a senile, pedophile, corrupt old man to occupy the White House! Pence should never have accepted electors from certain states where it was known there was massive fraudulent votes all for ChiCom Joe!

Get a grip Clyde... Not the worst in American history. This doesn't come close. People being let into the capitol by the police. No real destruction. Only death done by Cop. Darker moments off the top of my head: Civil War, WWI,WWII, 2 year COVID Lockdown, Stolen Election, Assassination of Presidents. Bombing by Puerto Rican nationals of Congress, open border, Joe Biden... I could go on.

In the sense of the Capitol becoming the site of FBI entrapment of tourists gazing around, in terms of Capitol Police beating some people, one to death, and shooting a veteran, yeah, it was a dark day. We'll assess the history, Kasich. We the people. And we are not happy with your assessment, not at all.

It was a very shameful day for the Capital Police and Congress. It was a very dark day for unarmed Ashlee Babbitt who was shot by a Capital Policeman and unarmed Lila Morris who was beaten to death in the tunnel by a Capital Policeman. They were there to try to make Mike Pence do his job. There is nothing wrong with that. There was so many irregularities exposed that Mike should not have verified the election. But then again, that would be the manly and honest thing to do.

There are so many events involving America where so many Americans sacrificed their lives, and Kasich puts 1/6 on a par with them. GTH, John. One of the darkest moments in our history is when So-called Republicans not only help vilify Americans protesting a fraudulent election but applaud the completely unconstitutional lack of civil rights afforded to people charged with misdemeanor trespassing. Two Trump supporters were killed that day and the murderers were not only cleared of charges, they were never even questioned. This is appalling and speaks volumes about the uni-party collusion going on at the highest level of our government. It makes me sick.

WASHINGTON— President Joe Biden related a faulty Democratic talking point about guns in his first State of the Union speech, made his plan on electric vehicles sound more advanced than it is and inflated the sweep of his infrastructure package. On several fronts, he presented ambitions as achievements.A look at some of his claims Tuesday night and a glance at the Republican response: COVID-19 -BIDEN: “Severe cases are down to a level not seen since July of last year.” THE FACTS: Biden overstated the improvement, omitting a statistic that remains a worrisome marker of the toll from COVID-19. While hospitalizations indeed are down from last summer, deaths remain high.

President Joe Biden used his State of the Union address on Tuesday night to call on Congress to “secure the border,” after his administration allowed roughly 1.5 million migrants to pour across the southern border in his first months in office. In remarks as prepared for delivery, Biden planned to say: And if we are to advance liberty and justice, we need to secure the Border and fix the immigration system. We can do both. At our border, we’ve installed new technology like cutting-edge scanners to better detect drug smuggling. In recent years, words and ideas used to describe discrimination against members of historically marginalized and disadvantaged groups have seemingly exploded into the lexicon: systemic inequality, privilege, white supremacy, the patriarchy, etc. In some senses, the apparent novelty is deceiving: most of these concepts have been around for decades in academic and activist circles.(Snip)For instance, given that the shifts became increasingly pronounced in 2012, one might assume they are straightforwardly a response to the killing of Trayvon Martin. However, it is harder to explain why we see similar changes in discussion and public attitudes with respect to sexism, homophobia, transphobia, Islamophobia and antisemitism–all at roughly the same time
