Boston Mayor Michelle Wu was lit up with criticism during an Instagram live video over the city’s vaccine mandates and other COVID-19 restrictions. Wu started up her Instagram live question-and-answer session this week addressing several coronavirus mandates in Beantown. The stream did not go as Wu had planned. Angry Bostonians unleashed a torrent of criticism at Wu over the COVID mandates. "Why do you hate kids? Teachers? Cops? Firemen?" one of the commenters said, while another accused Wu of "ruining" Boston.(Snip)Wu appeared stunned by the onslaught of messages, her smile dropping as the comments rolled in. The video quickly went viral, with thousands piling on

Comments:

The American solution would be to make it impossible for people to post comments anonymously on any platform (as already proposed to combat "disinformation"), perhaps with a paid "first amendment license" involved, and then to make it criminal offense to express disrespect for a public official (as in any other nation ruled by despots).

Political leaders like Ms. Wu need to step out of their bubble and walk amongst the common people to see what we see. I remember reading something about a person from the media going out to flyover country and was just amazed at what a difference there was between his worldview and that of the so-called “deplorables.” He came back with a different attitude if I recall correctly.

the people of Boston certainly do have a knack for picking the biggest lunkheads for Mayor but worse than that, the people of Massachusetts have a serious defect of picking the stupidest individuals for Governor - problem is: too many demcommies in the Commonwealth and the repubs are rump swabs who are the most ill begotten self centered idiots ever to walk the planet

There’s a difference between “walking amongst the people” as a media event, and walking amongst the people inconspicuously to actually learn what is going on out there.

The Curse Of The Bambino lasted for 86 years when the Red Sox finally won the World Series in 2004. The Curse Of The Democrats is still ongoing in Beantown. A whole state populated by NIMBY liberals who are taxed to death, but like the sadomasochists they are they keep coming back for more. The state that sent Ted Kennedy to the Senate will never recover until they expel these Democrat fearmongers and racketeers.

Washington—Federal safety regulators say they will retain power to approve Boeing 787 airliners for flight rather than return that authority to the aircraft maker, which hasn't been able to deliver any new Dreamliner planes since last May because of production flaws. The Federal Aviation Administration said it told Boeing of its decision Tuesday. The FAA said that once deliveries of 787s resume, it will perform final inspections and retain power to clear each new plane until it is confident that Boeing’s quality control and manufacturing “consistently produce 787s that meet FAA design standards.” It also said Boeing must have a plan for handling planes that need reworking.
