The Biden administration confirmed a U.S. South Carolina District Court judge backed by U.S. Rep. James Clyburn is among those considered to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer. Michelle Childs, 55, was tapped for a promotion last month by President Joe Biden to the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, but the nomination has been postponed as she is now in consideration for the highest court in America after Biden vowed to nominate a black woman for the Supreme Court in February.

Not that it matters, but she is more attractive than the other potential judges shown in the article. They will all pretty much decide cases the same way.

Whoever Biden picks, I'll say that she sexually assaulted me. I don't remember when, or where, or who else was there, but my feelings tell me that she is a sexual predator. And my feelings are more important than any inconvenient "facts". BTW, does anyone know where I can get some thick rimmed glasses like Christine Blasey Ford wore? They just made her look so credible! /sarcasm off

She is fully qualified to be on the court. I fully support her.
She is black.
She has a vagina.
Completely qualified to judge on highest court.

Clyburn and the Republican Senators of SC have supported her for DC Court of appeals.
Can we or should we hold that against her?
Since Lyndsey Graham has supported her will he be the 51st. vote to confirm her.?

Clyburn handed Biden the nomination with the promise of a black, female Supreme Court Justice. Biden owes him. Clyburn owns him.

Pay attention to what this Jackson woman says about how she will be on the. Court. She’ll be bringing her life experiences into her decisions. Yeah, just like that whacko “wise Latina woman” Sonia Sotomayor. The last thing we need is another left-of-Mao, judge.

I like the idea of an associate justice who is not a Harvard or Yale law school product.
I also like the various parts of the law Michelle Childs has experience in, including the practice of law. She knows what it is like to represent a client, unlike some of the members of the Court. (Kagan, in particular, never represented a client in court until she became Barack's Solicitor General. She is a zero.)
If there are no black marks (no pun intended) on her record, it would be wise for the republicans to support her. And if Senator Scott supports her, I attach substantial weight to that fact.

Thought it would be Breyer's clerk, Jackson. But this article reminded me that Biden owes Clyburn big time. That being said, if I were a republican sentor during the hearings, my first question would be: "Do you plan on voting in lockstep with the other iberals on the court if you are confirmed?"
