Republican State Rep. Nick Freitas of Virginia has had enough of Democrats accusing anyone who opposes them of racism and sexism. During a floor speech this week, he went after Democrats for this and his speech was so amazing that it got applause afterwards. Other Republicans should study this speech. Real Clear Politics provides a partial transcript: NICK FREITAS: I was asked by a colleague of mine on the other side of the aisle, someone I actually deeply respect, and she asked me, was I going to be ‘nice’ this session?

Watch the video. This should be required viewing for all of those people on the Hill who call themselves Republicans.

I heard this on the radio yesterday while driving in my car. Standing up and cheering in a Mini Cooper isn’t easy, but I almost managed it. Mr. Freitas speech was in response to a black leftist member of the legislature who had just ranted on about CRT, racism, privilege and all the rest of the usual BS. As far as I’ve been able to tell, it was completely off the cuff and a spontaneous reaction to the racist leftist loon. It should be sent out to every single Republican politician in the country.

Yes, it was a great Speech. But sadly, it isn't going to do anything to change the fact that the School Board threw out children who weren't wearing masks! I have not seen, or heard, ANYTHING coming from the Governor's Office to explain how he is going to fix that situation. HE needs to send his National Guard to the doors of that School if need be, so that the School Board understands that HE is running things now, not them! There Must be consequences for those who treated those children so horribly. Either he stands by his Mandate, or he is going to be a Laughing Stock in VA! This is his first Test. I hope he WINS!

#17. Agreed, but at least he's listening. Too many on both sides do what's best for them, not their constituents. A great, now late, talk show host, Lee Rodgers used to say "Politicians never see the light until they feel the heat." He needs to give a similar speech every time one of the race/LGBT/wymn hustlers steps up in the VA House of Delegates and makes accusations over a policy disagreement. He also ought to keep score and in his speech tell them (and the world) how many times they've done it in the past. Unfortunately, it won't stop them because you can't shame those people.

I was picturing Republican State Rep. Nick Freitas of Virginia, as he spoke, about the early policy makers of Virginia. He was very inspiring. He spoke from his heart and he is absolutely correct. Virginia does not resemble those fathers any more. It's no longer a bastion of truth and knowledge. It's like every other state. During the election of Gov. Youngkin, I hoped that Virginia would find it's way back to it's founding. Rep. Nick Freitas reminds me of the past; hearty, loves his state, speaks out fervently. God Bless Nick Freitas and Virginia. No, I do not live in VA.

Joe Biden told a business owner struggling to hire staff that he needs to pay better wages, as he seemed to concede that the pandemic increase in unemployment benefits was keeping people away from work. The president spoke at a half-empty CNN town hall at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati on Wednesday night. Flattering camera angles hid the small crowd from viewers at home, but reporters traveling with Biden tweeted pictures of rows of empty seats. At the event, Biden was asked by Ohio restaurant owner John Lanni how he planned to resolve the staffing crisis in his industry

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam's push to ban the sale of assault weapons has failed after members of his own party balked at the proposal. Senators voted to shelve the bill for the year and ask the state crime commission to study the issue, an outcome that drew cheers from a committee room packed with gun advocates. Four moderate Democrats joined Republicans in Monday's committee vote, rejecting legislation that would have prohibited the sale of certain semiautomatic firearms, including popular AR-15 style rifles, and banned the possession of magazines that hold more than 12 rounds.

Democrats already have lined up possible charges if they choose to pursue impeachment 2.0. Still pending is a wide-open probe launched by Rep. Adam B. Schiff, California Democrat. Mr. Schiff has been investigating President Trump, his family and businesses, the Trump Organization, over the congressman’s suspicions of blackmail, money laundering and bribery. Republican staffers say the inquiry was put on hold last fall pending the Ukraine impeachment proceedings led by Mr. Schiff. But there is no sign Mr. Schiff has given up trying to prove Mr. Trump is corrupt, and if the president is impeached again, the charges would likely

Former Vice President Mike Pence revealed that he has not spoken to former President Trump since last summer. He suggested that Jan. 6, 2021 marked a souring in their relationship. That day, ahead of the Capitol riot, Trump said that Pence 'didn't have the courage' to object to the election results during Congress' certification. Fox News' Jesse Waters asked Pence when the last time he spoke to Trump was on his show Thursday evening. 'You know, we talked last summer,' Pence said. But ever since 2017, when Senate Republicans invoked the nuclear option to confirm Supreme Court justices at a simple majority, instead of at the usual 60 votes necessary to break a filibuster, there has been procedurally little minorities can do to prevent a nomination from moving forward (the outright lies, smears, and chaos tactics Senate Democrats employed against Justice Brett Kavanaugh notwithstanding).

One of the main tenants for a stable and law-abiding society is a judicial system that enforces laws and ensures equal justice for all.The reverse is true in progressive cities, resulting in an increase in crime. Various government organizations, even all the way up to the Department of Justice, have gone astray. Social justice warriors are now in positions in the DOJ to implement “racial justice”, which determines how to prosecute cases based on the race and/or social justice cause, not commensurate with the crimes committed.A perfect example can be seen in a murder committed by a BLM arsonist.
