Peter Doocy mishandled Biden's phone call

Original Article

The big news on Monday night was that Joe Biden, in response to a perfectly appropriate question from Fox News White House correspondent Steve Doocy, not only refused to answer, but openly and into the mic called Doocy a "stupid son of a b‑‑‑‑." Biden then called Doocy, ostensibly to apologize. In fact, he didn't apologize at all, but Doocy seemed happy to be the nice guy who accepted a private non-apology in exchange for a public insult. (snip) What he should have said was, "Mr. Biden, you very publicly and crudely insulted me. I expect an equally public, explicit apology."

I think Doocy handled it the right way. He didn't take it seriously and played it off as it comes with the job. He didn't make it personal or all about him which so many of the socialist so-called journalists have done when Trump made a comment concerning their questions. As a result, it made the focus of the comment all about Biteme.

The apology culture is a creation of the left who use it for emotional blackmail. We don't need nor want it. However, Doocy could have responded 'If it isn't personal then why are you cursing me individually?' to hear Biden's remaining wires melt down.

I can appreciate that Peter didn't want to make too much of it so as not to lose access to the White House press briefings but on the other hand. The, well one of the problems with Joe Biden, is that for DECADES he has gotten away with lies (the truck driver did NOT kill his wife and daughter, etc), insults, cheap shots, etc., because no one ever called him out on it. It was and still is - that ol Joe - another gaffe. Give me a break. Not to sound like a broken record, but we all know how Trump was slammed for every imagined slight by the super sensitive press 24/7. Turnabout is fair play.

It wasn't an apology, it was a PR move. And normal Americans need to learn to fight the left when they get tastelessly abused by demented Democrats. Turning the other cheek is for religion, not street fights. And the Democrats have turned turned politics in the longest street fight in history. Proper responses would have been to simply terminate the call with a hang up or respond factually: "It's okay, my grandpa acts like that too when he's tired." "It's okay, I understand how frustrating it must be when asked a question." "It's okay, I understand your first instincts are to crush dissent and silence Americans."

At first, I thought Peter Doocy was too nice. On reflection, he was smart to take the high road, as he looks gracious compared to the short tempered narcissist Biden, whose agenda is in feeble free fall. Harpy Kelly O’Donnell sided with Biden, said Doocy’s question was off topic. She must have consulted with Psaki on that irrational, bold face lie.

Well the White House politburo obviously had a pretty good idea how Doocy, as a wimpy Republican media minion, would publicly comment on the phone call, well before that politburo instructed Biden how to give his non-apology to Doocy by telephone. With that said, how long will it be before Biden publicly insults another member of the wimpy Republican aligned media? You have to ask if Biden’s brain even realized that he was sitting before electronic devices that had to capability to pick up every word or whisper that he uttered? Maybe he could care less, as there is certainly one thing that Biden learned during his long corrupt liberal Democrat DC political career that it is a lot more likely then not that wimpy Republican politicians, operatives, and minions will simply wimp out.

I would have called Biden a corrupt, demented POS, with a worthless slug for a son, which he is, but I don't have Doocy's job. "We're better than that" is tiresome and has gotten us nowhere but stepped on, but sometimes it's probably appropriate. Like here.

As far as I’m concerned, those who advise us to “be the bigger person,” and “just walk away,” not only missed the larger point the article was trying to make about the right, but are the very ones who need to “get over it.” The left has gone to war with us, whether we like it or not. If I were Peter's mother, I would be very proud of him. He took the High Road and left Biden looking like the Snarkey Nasty Puffed up wannabe Tough guy! Peter kind of smiled when it happened because he knew the mike was on and the world would see for themselves what Biden really is. Meanwhile, Peter is a Class Act. He accepted the call and KNEW it was not an apology, but he let it slide. If he had gone after a "real apology" then HE would been played as the Young Upstart who was not willing to accept the Poor Old Man's attempt to say sorry. No, I back Peter all the way on this one! The truth is that the Second American Civil War is...almost over. Unlike the first one, the Democrats appear to be a near lock to win. Leftists, through a combination of brilliant projectionist strategy and callously evil use of their political opponents' naïveté, decency, and tolerance, have transformed America's institutions. They have weaponized them and used them against their less aggressive fellow citizens. In the process, they have transformed Americans, their beliefs and expectations, too. Much like the Chinese Communist Party, they own nearly all the levers of influence and power

It’s becoming ever more apparent that the government health intelligentsia’s efforts to protect Americans from COVID have been a complete failure. That’s why you’ve heard nothing about its success. (snip) There are two ways to look at this argument to end masking, lockdowns, and vaccine requirements. The vaccines are proving to be a constantly moving target. (snip) What if it turns out that they’re not even a therapeutic? What if you get more sick, not less sick, from the vaccination? Data out of Scotland suggests that this is a real possibility: Scottish data shows that the COVID-19 age-standardized case rate is highest among the two-dose vaccinated and lowest among unvaccinated! It further shows this trend of negative efficacy for the double-vaccinated persisting for hospitalizations and deaths. Something is very wrong here, and together with other data points, it raises concerning questions about the negative effect of waning antibodies, constant boosting, and the consequences of a leaky vaccine
