President Biden on Friday announced that his administration will distribute $27 billion to repair or replace 15,000 bridges across the country. The funds will be doled out as part of the bipartisan infrastructure spending Mr. Biden signed into law in November.
He said the funds were the largest investment in our nation’s bridges since the creation of the Interstate Highway System in the 1950s. “This is an investment that is going to help connect entire towns and regions to new opportunities,” Mr. Biden said at the White House “With this investment, we’re sending a message to those communities and the people who call them home: You matter.”

Unless, of course, the bridge is named after some evil white man like Washington or Lincoln, in which case it will be torn down.

They have spent the money, where is the proof anything was built or repaired?

Of which, approx. 27 dollars will go to actual bridge repair, and the rest will go to Dem donors. Just like when Xiden was running the Obama scam where 787 billion shovel ready dollars disappeared.

Yeah. That’ll work. His puppet masters have it all worked out. They can hear the American public now, “So what if he lies about everything daily. So what if the groceries you can actually get are too expensive to buy. So what if gas is 5 dollars a gallon. So what if crapped his pants. So what if Americans are still stranded in Afghanistan. So what if he called most of America racists. So what if he opened the boarded to hoards of dangerous law breakers? He fixed a bridge!!!!!!!” Yeah, that’ll save him.

Biden pledges $27 billion to repair all our crumbling bridges. That amount seems like a rounding error to me.
I was living in Northern Nevada in Obama's time and I seem to remember a big orange sign that read "your stimulus dollars at work.' They repaired the same road three times. When they finished the job they put the same sign up and started the job all over again. The unions were happy though.
I noticed Biden also included high-speed rail systems in his executive order. That will be good news for California who has spent billions on their high- speed rail system even though they have cancelled their rail system to Fresno.

The unions get the money and kick back a percentage to the DNC in political donations. Any infrastructure repair is simply coincidental.

Bipartisan spending plan? How does this work? 90% to demonrat states who mismanaged their money and 10% to republican states?

Maybe someone should ask Joe what happened to the 2009 Recovery Act (Stimulus - $800 million) he was responsible to oversee and account for. He should be in jail for this mismanagement of these funds, instead he stole the election and is still scamming the U.S. You had enough?

Were we NOT spending money on roads and bridges? It's in every transportation bill they've ever passed so it's an ongoing budgetary item - so is this what we normally do anyway, or another added on bonus?

Mr Biden Further said he has negotiated purchases of 10,000,000,000 tons of Bamboo from his Son Hunter's Firm in the Congo for the Material to build these new bridges, explaining 'BAMBOO is the new GREEN' sustainable way to build bridges!

Like a poster commented better hire some Romans to oversee the work not some fat democrat. By the end of Biden reign of terror those unrepaired bridges will still be there and the money will disappear. FJB

Thank you soooo much, Mister pResident, I love it when my money is spent on something to help citizens five states away. One question, how much of that budget will be used to make signs touting the generosity of the taxpayers and the wise leadership of the US Government? Enough to create two signs for each bridge, hopefully. Maybe they could have a green and orange color scheme for high vis?
